Anarchy Films and SHG-Media Present “Missy Marvel”

Anarchy Films and SHG-Media Present Missy MarvelMissy Marvel is the second video resulting from the collaboration of Steve Noir and Anarchy Films (the first being X-Girl). This series obviously has more resources behind it than previous productions from Mr. Noir, so it will be interesting to see how the community responds.

Missy Marvel is a super-being. She just doesn’t know it yet.

She is a nice girl who grew up without knowing of her mysterious origin, popular if not particularly smart, and now she is venturing out into the world for the first time. But there are people out there who do know of her powers, people who want them for themselves. People like Doctor Duum and his vile associates, who will stop at nothing to trap Missy, possess her, and probe the secrets of her powerful, perfect super-body.

Will Doctor Duum succeed, learning more about Missy Marvel than she knows herself? What is he building in his laboratory? And can anyone defeat Ballza Kraken, his remote-controlled amazon? Find out in “MISSY MARVEL meets DOCTOR DUUM”, the second heroine-in-peril adventure from ANARCHY FILMS…

Loving the way she looks in that short, plaid skirt. I hope she spends a long time sorting through items on the bottom shelf.

I was disappointed with this one. Just a bunch of wasted potential.

Almost everything you need to see in this movie takes place in the trailer aside from one chloroform scene.

About 40-45% of the video is just the heroine walking around, then you finally see a villain. A short peril scene occurs where the knee you see in the trailer is the only physical blow the heroine takes the entire movie in or out of costume.

With about 2 minutes or so left in the video the heroine finally changes into costume, and the entire fight is what you see in the trailer as far as ray gun blasts. After the final blast you see, so shots of the heroine knocked out, no carry scene to the rack, nothing. Just cuts to the heroine on the rack and the torture scene you see in the trailer starts.

The heroine whoever she is looks great in and out of costume, which makes the lack of any real substance in the video that much more disappointing.

If you’re looking for some superheroine peril I can’t recommend this one. If you like seeing the actress in the schoolgirl outfit, then maybe, she’s in most of the video, and the receives the better peril in that.

Man, that’s disappointing to hear. The trailer and stills look so good. I love that costume and was really looking forward to this… Probably going to have to pass if what you said is mostly true.

Well, I have to say… this Super Hero is hot and she looks great in RED and those white panties looked good. It’s nice to see sets that are more than a two car garage with black plastic and villains who have great costumes and good lines. I loved the evil scientist look and feel, he was having fun with his character. It’s also great to see a bump up in production value and not always see what appears to be grade school class video project. Over all I was entertained and I look forward to seeing Missy Marvel in another clip with even more T&A and sexy shots.

Mike J, Thanks for the review. I’m one those guys who expects a superheroine fantasy video to actually have a superheroine in it. Two minutes at the end isn’t going to do it for me.
I won’t waste my money this one.

My question after watching the trailer is the plot is exactly the same as the X-girl movie from Anarchy Films. Girl spends way too muchn time out of costume, gets captured, then escapes and turns into the heroine and gets captured immediately again. But there is not enough time in costume and you never really get a chance to get attached to the heroine. I think this company has potential but not sure they fully get it yet.

Same problem as first anarchy film X-Girl. Heroine gets pwned too easily and too little time in costume.

I’ll say that their heroines are really hot at least.

Just two super heroine minutes at the end? Really? Reckon I’ll pass on this one. Is the trailer deceptive?

  • Sep. 1, 2012 at 12:15 pm

Wow. From what I’m reading above it’s too bad this didn’t turn out well.

To the filmmakers – this actress is 10/10 smoking hot, especially in that school-girl outfit. Nice casting. I’d much rather see Steve Noir do some “darker” things to her, like in his personal productions. Those shots of her being hit with the lasers, however, look incredibly lame.

Will be passing but you guys must use this actress more. She really does look amazing.

I have to agree with Mike J, having purchased the video the day it came out. I was really looking forward to it, and couldn’t believe I was down to the last couple of minutes before we ever saw the heroine change into costume. Mike J is also right in that the trailer essentially covers ALL of the action that occurs once the costume change is complete. Fantastic potential that just appeared to be wasted–the heroine looked great in her costume, just all too brief appearance in costume and virtually no peril.

I actually liked just about everything in this video, unfortunately the stuff that’s missing is a bit of a problem. The story unfolds at a nice leisurely pace up to the point that the heroine transforms, after that they seem to really rush through it. This would have been great as an 18-20 minute video, with the post transformation part given the same degree of detail as the first 10 minutes.

As a side note, the video just ends with a ‘to be continued’. If this is really a ‘part1’ then it would somewhat justify the fact that not only doesn’t the heroine transform until about 10 minutes into the video, but she in fact has no clue that she actually has the power to do so for the first 9 1/2 minutes. However it should have then been sold as ‘Missy Marvel part 1’, an introduction to the character with the promise of a much more HEROINE peril heavy part 2.(to be fair, she’s actually more or less in peril from the 5 minute mark to the end, but only for a couple minutes as a superheroine)

not surprised about the negative reviews, the trailer shows some promise but i agree with the comment about the ray gun scene, it looks weak

as she is getting shot by the gun, there is no voice/moan reaction, she just whips her body back but some vocals are needed in that scene. the fact that she isn’t in costume until very late into the movie is an absolute head scratcher

i also don’t like the villain, way too over the top on the camp meter

At least in X-girl the heroine and her alter ego both take a nice beating, though I think the part with her in her costume was way to short for when she gets the crap kicked out of her, still was far better than this.

Gotta give Anarchy some due though. They have hot actresses, decent acting, and pretty nice sets. They just need to work on the fighting and peril parts. Everything else is fine.

Chris, meet Slayer69. Or maybe you already know each other?

Before a comment war begins, let me assure everyone that Chris (who has been leaving comments on this site for quite a while) is not Slayer69. Carry on…

  • Sep. 2, 2012 at 6:57 am

Sorry HM. Slayer69’s comment looks like a plant. (If it is, it’s quite disappointing because I think Anarchy has great potential and has no need to stoop to those kind of tactics.) When Chris’s comment mentioned the same elements as Slayer’s it sounded suspicious. My apologies to Chris.

  • Sep. 2, 2012 at 7:54 am

@Bert: Why? Chris is pretty spot on with his comments here. This video was far more ‘disappointing’ than ‘bad’. What was most disappointing was that for the reasons Chris mentions, this video could’ve been great. The writing and acting were solid, it was well filmed, the heroine was sexy as hell, etc.. They just didn’t put nearly enough time into the superheroine part of the video, which is obviously not a good thing…That is correctable though, so hopefully they nail it next time.

  • Sep. 2, 2012 at 8:17 am

@Bert: I guess I should have updated before replaying, since you actually answered my question in my previous post before I wrote it. Oh well, live and learn.

  • Sep. 2, 2012 at 8:55 am

Wow, a plant, really? I posted earlier my initial reaction to the video which was mostly critical, except when it came to the actress’ looks :D. And then after reading the other comments, I didn’t want the Anarchy producers/directors to feel too down on themselves because of the negativity so I thought I’d point out a few of the positives for them too. It wasn’t a very good video by any means, but for their second video (to my knowledge) ever I’m not expecting them to be at the level of some of the other high end producers that this site reviews.

  • Sep. 2, 2012 at 8:58 am

But I thank HM for helping get that cleared up… and it is cool Bert

That looks like the best Mary Marvel themed Costume I’ve seen. So it’s a shame the potential sounds so wasted.

First and Foremost what I want from Super-heroine videos are Forced orgasm while still in Costume.
