Angel Avengers 03: Femme Fatales

Angel Avengers 03 - Femme FatalesCult Retro is back with the third installment of its part-spygirl, part-supernatural adventure series, Angel Avengers. Episode 03 returns the entire original cast of lovely ladies, and this time they are on a collision course with the series’ main bad guy (so far), Big Joel Nekoda.

The film opens up with Angel Nikki dispatching a guard while Angel Brink and Angel Ash confront Big Joel. Big Joel delivers an over-the-top yet entertaining monologue, and the girls proceed to beat the hell out of him. Back outside, Agent Nikki is still taking it to Joel’s henchman. This battle involves a mix of standard fight camerawork mixed in with a little POV fighting. Meanwhile, Joel himself is back on his feet and the girls continue to beat on him some more but never can seem to keep him down permanently.

The beating continues for another minute or two until Big Joel is able to momentarily turn the tide. He grabs each Angel by the throat and drops them to their knees. However, one of the girls uses a mysterious super power in an attempt to resolve the situation.

Thinking they have won, the Angels walk away, but it turns out Joel is very much alive. Using the occult artifacts in his possession, he intends to somehow siphon energy from the Angels. However, Joel doesn’t realize that the Angels are standing right behind him. This results in a final showdown involving a stake to the head and an explosion, but I won’t give away the details…

I am personally enjoying this series, and I think Angel Avengers 03 is the best episode so far. I like how the producers have taken the spy girl genre and added a touch of the supernatural. Now keep in mind that the producers have always billed these as “girl power” films, and for the most part, that’s what you get. Besides the short strangulation scene, there really isn’t a lot of peril as in the Stormy Tempest films.

Speaking of Stormy Tempest, the producers have a blog that always has interesting information on upcoming projects. Looks like the next Stormy Tempest film will be released sometime in February and more Angel Avengers with new characters will be coming our way as well.

The Angel Avengers have dismantled Big Joel Nekoda’s occult artifact smuggling operation while defeating wave after wave of his incompetent henchmen. Now the Angels are finally going after the bossman himself! As Angel Nikki (The Bionic Bombshell) takes out the two perimeter guards, Angel Brink and Angel Ash take on Big Joel. Our heroines quickly clobber the villains with a devastating assault, but they soon learn that there is more to Big Joel than meets the eye and KEEPING him down will be the hard part. Only the full fury of the Angel Avengers unleashed will put an end to Big Joel Nekoda… but at what cost? More Sexy Combat! More Sizzling Action! More Destruction! More Girl Power! “B-Movie King” and cult movie legend Joel D. Wynkoop finally joins the battle!

violence violence violence violence….. what is all this violence? somebody to make money by removing some paraphilic? but those people has ever asked for damages it causes to people? or only interested in money?

@mauro Fictional portrayals of violence do not harm people. YOU flagged our YouTube videos. YOU are the direct cause of getting our trailers banned. YOU have hurt our business, our livelihood and by extension our families. The only person damaging other people around here is you.

Minors are also on youtube, and lift up this garbage.

I’d be more concerned about getting yourself an education having seen your attempt at sentence construction.

Children under the age of 13 are prohibited from using YouTube. It is also possible to set up controls to prevent minors from viewing things it is no desirable for them to see.

rather think of those suffering from paraphilia, but so do you not care about.

  • Mar. 2, 2012 at 9:13 am

It is better for those suffering from paraphilia to get their excitement from watching fictional scenarios such as those found on YouTube that it is for them to go looking for the real thing which they may resort to if they are not getting satisfaction from pretend movies. Your argument does not stand up.

maybe paying … When you do nothing to help the person you are complicit with their problems. Forget about these stupid things that are useless.

  • Mar. 2, 2012 at 12:21 pm

No. I am NOT concerned with paraphilia. Do you think Fruit of the Loom should stop making pantyhose because some people have a harmless pantyhose fetish? We make movies about beautiful paranormal women fighting bad guys and kicking their evil asses. If that is your sexual obsession, then so be it. I just hope you enjoy your purchase. I do not recommend that young women go out and develop superpowers and fight demons while wearing sexy outfits, nor do I encourage men to succumb to the influence of paranormal artifacts and commit evil deeds. …. I just make movies about it.

(FYI: If any of the above actually happens to you, please contact me so that we can save a ton on special effects.)

Fruit of the Loom does not cause people to develop a pantyhose fetish. I do not cause a sexual obsession with violence by making a film. If you are looking for a scapegoat for the choices that other people make in order to justify thier actions… look elsewhere.

I suspect you don’t really care about those “suffering from paraphilia” either, mauro. You seem to have a specific issue with videos that portray women as strong physical aggressors. Is that really such a vile thing? Pedophilia is a FAR more common paraphilia. Why don’t you go conquer that one?

  • Mar. 2, 2012 at 5:26 pm

I have no sexual obsession, thank God, much less something strange happens to me, let alone seeking a scapegoat, and not even a problem viewing some videos. I wonder if you have artistic ability and creativity to produce something NOT VIOLENT, maybe sick or oppression on Indian children of the Amazon Indian peoples. Do not think only about money ….

WTF… Why is this conversation even happening and why is CultRetro being singled out? I think mauro stumbled across something he doesn’t quite understand and now he should probably move on. Or stay buy some vids and get over it!

Now it’s late, goodnight to all and kicking you in the mouth hahahahahahaha

  • Mar. 2, 2012 at 7:45 pm

mauro has now axed 10 of our YouTube trailers. I’m not sure if I’m more angry at him, or at YouTube for making it so easy for one jackass to inflict this much damage on our channel. I think I’m pretty much done with YouTube, and I KNOW I’ve wasted all of the time I intend to waste replying to this idiot.

It would not hurt my feelings if HM were to block mauro’s IP address. Just sayin…

On a brighter note, the new Stormy Tempest is available now. :)

Yeah, I thought maybe mauro’s ranting might lead to an interesting discussion, but… it didn’t. Farewell, mauro. You kicked us all in the mouth, but now I regret to inform you that you have officially been Banned!™

  • Mar. 2, 2012 at 10:01 pm

Sorry to hear CultRetro… I know at SHG they made all their youtube videos for private viewing unless you had the link. That way you could still use it for a site like HM’s but random “mauro’s” couldn’t fuck your shit up.

Anyway… I used a karate block, so my mouth is good. 😉

” I wonder if you have artistic ability and creativity to produce something NOT VIOLENT”
mauro may have a point, it seems he has no need to view violent videos and is a balanced example of what we might be if only we could see beyond our love for this particular form of entertainment. Point made, I shall delete my heroine movie collection forthwith.
“Now it’s late, goodnight to all and kicking you in the mouth hahahahahahaha”
    No, hang on. He’s nuts.
I’m off to Cultretro to buy me the next Stormy Tempest because last time I checked it was a free country and I’m allowed.

Wow, I missed this whole arguement. Which is fine because I don’t really get it. There’s tons of worse things on YouTube… Anyway, I returned to this discussion to ask if there are going to be any more in this series of Femme Fatals? I dig the two spy gals in this series.
