Kickasskandy.com was a site that brought a lot of conversation to the boards here at Heroine Movies—some positive, some negative. It’s been a while since we looked in on them, and they recently released a film that may interest some of you.
KAK’s latest release is called Casino Kick Ass. Here is what the site has to say about the episode: “Kix is on a solo mission armed only with her lethal kicks, deadly punches, sexy boots and killer smile. Secret military secret things have fallen into the evil mitts of notorious terror chief Ian ‘The Rush’ Rush after the Minister of Defence left them on a bus and Kix needs to get them back. ‘Casino Kick Ass is crammed with high octane action with a nice twist at the end,’ says Rupert Murdoch on the phone to his daughter.”
Now, I have always been a fan of Kickasskandy. The girls, the production values, and the incredibly friendly producer (Kandyman) kept me coming back. Recently, however, I have found myself drifting away. Nothing has changed. All the good things I mentioned are still present, I just grew tired of the repetitive nature of the episodes. This is a complaint echoed by many on the board, along with the lack of anything approaching peril. This is actually the first episode I have purchased in months. So, why am I writing about this? Let me give two reasons why this episode may interest some of you.
1. Hi-Kix. For those of you who don’t follow KAK closely, Hi-Kix is probably considered their current leading lady. I’ve watched most of the episodes that she has starred in and I’m telling you she has never looked better.
2. This episode features peril… almost. Probably as close as you will ever see at KAK. The episode goes through the normal motions. Hi-Kix enters a lair and beats on the bad guys. She confronts the last henchman and they have a more even fight than you usually see in a KAK video. Hi-Kix does eventually take control. However, Kix loses a test of strength, gets put in a reverse bearhug, and is choked out. As Kix is dragged away, however, she gives a little look suggesting this loss my be a part of her plan. Is this episode going to satisfy hardcore peril fans? No. Is it as close to peril as we have ever seen in a KAK film? Absolutely.
So there you have it. HM likes to keep his readers in the loop and we thought this episode was worth mentioning. What do you think?
