Fail-Safe Sisters Part 5 from Next Global Crisis

Fail-Safe Sisters Part 5 from Next Global CrisisHot new girl rocking a catsuit alert! OK, that’s not exactly shocking considering that Next Global Crisis seems to have nothing but hot looking girls rocking catsuits, but that’s just one of the many highlights you get from episode 5 of Fail Safe Sisters.

The hot girl I’m referring to is Charlotte Beckett, who plays The Dynamite Doll. And the opening sequence, which just tracks her walking around a building, gives the audience ample opportunity to study her catsuit-wearing figure.

She enters a small room where the cameras and the voice of God (Andrew) catch up with her. Dynamite Doll then meets her opponent: the powerfully built Delilah Crunch, played by Hayley-Marie Axe. If you recall, Hayley just played a character in the Next Global Crisis universe who delivered a severe beat-down to Miss Freedom. I want to take a minute and give a lot of credit to Hayley. She’s a tremendous actress, and she brings a great physical presence to her roles.

As tradition dictates, the girls get a warm-up period before the violence begins. Now with almost every NGC production, there is a twist on the end and this episode is no exception. I can’t spoil it, so we’ll concentrate solely on the action.

Even though she’s the smaller and weaker of the two, Dynamite Doll actually acquits herself quite well at the beginning of the fight. She uses her speed to dodge several haymakers and delivers some solid shots of her own. However, Delilah is able to catch one of Doll’s punches, crush her hand and slap her in a choke hold. Delilah follows that with some stomach punches, several knees to the stomach, and then she drives Dynamite Doll’s head into the ground.

They exchange some more blows until Delilah slaps on a bear hug, delivers some head butts and gives DD at two-handed throat lift. There is a little more action before the twist, and I can tell you that one of the girls is choked out at the end.

This is kind of the classic “smaller and faster opponent versus larger more powerful one” storyline, and both actresses are excellent in executing this type of fight. I hope to see more of both girls soon. I also like the see the girls acting in both universes as Haley did in this episode. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the new girls that have premiered but the more we get to see NGC faces cross over, the better in my opinion.

@NGC: I really enjoyed this one, as always. I don’t want to get too specific or anything yet, but the “twist” at the end that Sidekick mentioned…I really expected that to happen BEFORE the 5th episode of the series. In fact, I’ve expected it more as each episode has gone by. Fortunately, you know how to build anticipation, because it would’ve been easy to go to that plot device in the 1st or 2nd episode.

@kingles: I was wondering if you could mention which girl gets choked out at the end? Feel free to post a **spoiler** tag in case other people just want to scroll past this comment.

    @Doppelganger: Certainly… ***possible spoilers***

    Dynamite Doll gets choked out.

LOVED the ending of this flick. The best Fail Safe episode yet in my opinion. Been waiting for an ending like this.

DD is about to win, totally dominating Crush with punches, until the announcer guy says this will NOT happen again. The screen blanks out and you hear DD get bludgeoned multiple times until there is nothing but silence followed by a fainting groan. We then come back on and DD is down but not totally out. Crush then kicks her right in the head, but this still does not KO her so she chokes her out. That does the job.

Like I said, great ending. Keep it up guys! I see you’ve been getting a fair amount of mainstream comic exposure. Your banner was on the top of the Comic Book Resources main page this week. Glad to see youre branching out to other areas. Keep putting out more content like this vid and you’ll have many more!

@kingles – Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it. I had the idea a while back so could have done it sooner but I felt it was better to have the Lockdown City officials ‘boil-over’ this time. It is not a fair society!

@Mike – I am also pleased that you liked it. It was a fun ending to do and we’ll try and do a lot more like it in future. I think 2013 will be very good….

Before then, did anyone look at the Lucy Zillion pictures?

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 5:49 am

In answer to NGC’s question: Yes I did take a look at the Lucy Zillion pictures and will be happy to see plenty more.
To return to DD’s beatdowns in this movie, I have to agree with @kingles about expecting it before, but it was still a welcome twist this time. Actually DD is so arrogant that she (almost) deserved every blow. But of course she IS a prisoner, and has every right to her “attitude”.
One suggestion for future movies: when a heroine in a tight costume is climbing the fire escape, it is OK to allow the camera to linger on her curves. I kept expecting the cameraman to hold back a couple of stairs to give us the full benefit, but you kept pace with her all the way up. Next time perhaps?
But honestly guys, this is another winner. Thank you.

Dynamite Doll, my new fave Failsafe Sister. I LOVED the way she was soooo cocky and defiant, ALMOST to the point of deserving a beatdown but showing enough vulnerability to remain likeable. Or should that be lickable? I’d imagine not everyone could pull off the bright red catsuit and blonde wig look, but Charlotte Beckett sure does, it reall suited her and I for one would like to see her wig torn off during a fight, kept by her opponent like a trophy that she tries to get back. Its clearly part of her identity so take it from her!

Aside from loving the character and actress and costume I felt the setup and villain were good, and the twist I never expected, not even in previous FSS films like some people! I would like to see DD take on a big male opponent. I’d also love to see her use weapons, maybe the male villain has her grenades and she has to defeat him to get em back. I do agree with Derek, a bit too close on her going up the stairs, we could have seen more of her body (and what a body) but maybe next time eh?

Oh, and as for LUCY ZILLION – oh my, will DD be toppled from the top spot already?!

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 8:45 am

I know a lot of people are raving on about this release and DD but I’ve got to be totally honest and say I found it merely ‘OK’. There are some really nice touches here and there, such as the ‘loss of picture’, but I feel that DD lets things down. I enjoyed her acting, especially her performance of a ‘definant heroine’, but the use of that wig makes it feel cheesy and surprisingly for NGC, ‘low rent’. I also feel the outfit didn’t work for the actress. Definitely going to give any future FSS with her in a miss!

That said, NGC have been on a brilliant run of form for me personally, so one miss after so many hits was kind of expected.

    More pants???? I’ll pass!!!!

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 9:57 am

@RyanD – Nothing like a constructive comment!!!! Hope next we’ll get into tights versus bare legs debate, that’s always constructive.

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 11:08 am

I get where Ryan is coming from. We had this problem with tights, and now we have full body suits. I guess next we’re going to get spacesuits and skiing uniforms.

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 11:50 am

I like heroines in tight bodysuits. So Ryan’s point and Jerry’s sarcasm is moot. Will get this video! Keep up the good work!

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 12:29 pm

NGC i couldnt download the video again but i want ask a new link until i fix my computer. I download more than the half of it and i watch a lot of the video . It was brillaint, great performances for both actresses, nasty moves and a beautiful heroine but i couldnt enjoy the end wich for what i am reading now was the best part

I just think its sort a bit pointless to moan about catsuits vs. leotards. For starters many popular heroines wear catsuits, you need look no further than Batgirl, Catwoman, Storm, Shadowcat, Rogue, Firestar, Spider-Woman, Black Widow, Black Cat. The Incredibles and Power Rangers all wear full body suits. In fact at a guess I would say heroines in leotards are in the minority.

So to call full body suits a “problem” is strange to me, especially when NGC’s heroines have always worn a variety of styles and there doesn’t seem to be a clear favourite. Personally I love both and appreciate the diversity, I realise also that clothes must suit the wearer and I think that is the case here.

Of course you are entitled to disagree but please don’t say “we” like you are speaking for all of us, and it would be sensible not to act like catsuits are a new trend thats ruining these videos. They’ve been around forever and are not going anywhere, and many of us like or prefer them. Thanks!!!!

I would like to go on the record and assure people that I have not settled on one style of costume that I will now take forward indefinitely. If I go backwards from here over recent releases it works out as: Pants, Pants, No Pants, No Pants, Pants, No Pants, No Pants, Skirt, Pants & No Pants all at once! Skirt, Pants… you get the gist. I wonder what it all means? What would it add up to in binary and how would that number be significant?

Anyway, fear not for those who hate pants will be sated in the near future. Those who love pants ought to be sated with this release, that is my hope.

@Beast – Sorry to hear of your downloading woes. If you could email me though I can do what I can to help, it will be easier to provide tech support that way.

PS: I will be designing a new Fail-Safe Sisters costume soon so if you’ve got ideas then let it rip!

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 2:29 pm

How about something Wonder Woman esque? Complete with tan nylons and the like. Maybe she was the head Fail Safe Sister. Although I’m sure you already have her character planned out.

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 3:06 pm

Having watched this videos, I can’t help but wonder who the hell beat these people during the war? o.o

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 3:07 pm

Looks good, and I love the catsuit. I love a girl in a nice bikini-bottom cut leotard or catsuit but sometimes the full body suits can be hot as well, especially on a lovely figure like DD. Not a fan of the wig though however, would much rather see her natural hair with her costume. Love that she takes on a bigger girl here and gets pummeled, but my only sort of gripe is that once again the vids seem to devolve into choke outs and choke holds which has been featured in the vast majority of NGC vids. Would just like to see a better variety of knockouts and it might just be me, but seems every realease that I pick up from NGC has the good girl getting choked to death for half the vid.

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 3:10 pm

Yeah to be honest I’d like to see chloroform make a comeback. As stated above I loved the vid, but would like to see a bit more ko variety as well.

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 3:23 pm

    @Mike – Hmmmmm, maybe’s.

@HolyMolyDude123 – I hope we might actually do that saga one day.

@Redmountain – We have REALLY toned down the amount of choking in the last several releases. There is still some and I won’t completely stop doing it because it’s a nice device. Of course there are others. Did you get this one?

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 4:33 pm

@NGC How about a Catwoman like costume? kitty ears, whip and all. I know its another catsuit and you just used one in this release but still, I believe a catwoman-like heroine would be very interesting for the FSS. OR Batgirl with a cape. We rarely see black leather catsuits here anyways, Im even down for spandex. Heck they can even make great villains for this series. If not then anything with an opening in the midsection so we can see some sexy abs, just not cheer leaderish outfits.

As for this release I might pass even though the ending sounds cool because Im just not feeling this new heroine. I LOVE catsuits but this one just doesnt do it for me, maybe its the red, i dont know Im just not feeling it on her. Also the wig bugs me as well I do understand its part of her costume though. I agree with @Richard that it should be taken away from her to reveal her identity. Not only would it be humiliating for her but it would also help her look alot sexier with her natural hair.

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 5:19 pm

@NGC- “PS: I will be designing a new Fail-Safe Sisters costume soon so if you’ve got ideas then let it rip!”

A little while ago, I’ve sent in a few concepts in. I got a reply stating that the concepts I submitted were really good, but could not be used at the time being.

Should I resend them (plus a few more that I’ve created)?

And is the person who replies to the website e-mail the same person? Just curious…

On a side note, this video is great. Action was kept top-notch throughout the video. I’d give it an A+!

Quick suggestion; I noticed that when the heroine is on the floor, and gets brutally kicked/knee’d/punched in the face, the camera doesn’t show the actually contact of the hit, which I can understand why. Is it possible when making those shots, to somehow have the heroine’s arms in ‘react’ to the impact? For example, when the villain in this episodes stomps on Dynamite Dolls’ [presumably] face, her hands could fly up due to the impact of the stomp, but the full body still not shown?

  • Nov. 25, 2012 at 5:22 pm

***wow, my coffee got me doing a bunch of typos, hopefully it’s easy to understand…***

  • Nov. 26, 2012 at 3:47 am

I don’t care what kind of ‘tight’ outfit is chosen.

I just wish NGC would go back to their first season wardrobe, when the outfits were one size too small :)

  • Nov. 26, 2012 at 4:09 am

Yes, I’m the same person who replies to emails. I don’t have a PA much as I’d like one. We might try flinging a limb into shot for those moves if it doesn’t look too weird, the cutaways to body-parts that we’ve done before are quite effective too.

@Fabio – I think a black catsuit and kitty ears would mean that it’s Catwoman, which isn’t really right for this series. We have spandex outfits instead of leather one’s partly due to cost but mostly because a leather catsuit doesn’t ‘breathe’ and would be very uncomfortable for an actress who is fighting in it for 10 hours.

@rangerian – Or, I could force the girls to gain weight?

  • Nov. 26, 2012 at 9:28 am

Yea…I like season 2’s costumes. They’re more realistic.

It’ll be unique and cool to do a magician girl outfit though, along with the associated powers :)

  • Nov. 26, 2012 at 10:23 am

If you’re going the magician route you should think more Zatanna than Mandrake. Maybe substitute black tights instead of fishnets.

  • Nov. 26, 2012 at 9:41 pm

While I wouldn’t suggest making somebody to close to Wonder Woman in design, I stipulate that a patriotic style for the last Fail Safe Sister could make sense, considering the setting, as they are members of a now enslaved? populace, and could help represent the idea that they WANT their freedom.

  • Nov. 27, 2012 at 4:30 am

Seriously, to have baggy outfits, was that intentional? Or as you say, your new models just came in under sized?

The first season had the hottest outfits.

  • Nov. 27, 2012 at 4:52 am

@ShadowFax – I know what you mean. Although for this series there is no America or any other country for that matter, but I’ll think about it.

@rangerian – Baggy? Who is in a baggy outfit?

  • Nov. 27, 2012 at 6:35 am

Its dumb posts like that make me wonder if people even watch these videos before posting, I mean seriously? Every single outfit this season has been perfectly tight, name one that hasn’t. I remember a similar comment about Suki’s catsuit, equally dumb. If these things were any tighter the girls might asphyxiate.

As for the costume for the final FSS, I dig both ideas. Something Wonder Woman esque – i.e. patriotic, warrior – or magician a la Zatanna. There’s already black, blue, red, yellow – how about something green/gold/silver? Either way I wouldn’t mind another leotard or two-piece, just to even things out. I would try designing one but my skills suck. =)

  • Nov. 28, 2012 at 1:55 pm

Nitpick: I thought it was a little jarring to have the camera follow DD up the stairs and clearly have it not be the “government” camera, but then there was a switch to it being so once the action started– especially since the camera disconnection was such a crucial piece to the plot later on.

Otherwise, amazing! More Hayley Marie-axe as the villain! Loved the interplay as did others between DD’s agility and Delilah’s power. I was sad we didn’t get to see DD get brutalized during the disconnection, but understand how important it was to the story of the video.

  • Dec. 1, 2012 at 8:25 am

@Gorleser – I figured it was the “government” camera in the beginning too, the way DD looks directly at it before climbing the steps. I could be wrong but wasn’t it all part of the show?

@NGC – Any idea when we will the next Failsafe Sisters be, and also a costume design chosen? Many thanks!

  • Dec. 1, 2012 at 5:01 pm

Wow – that does look good. Nothing quite like a good rivalry between two arch-enemies – and the last members’ video was fantastic ( although I couldn’t download the bad ending one, only view it online : ( )

When I saw the preview photos of the Dynamite Doll film I was kind of in 2 minds : the costume, the belt logo and the fright wig, was this a parody of another company ? But it was another great film : hope we see more of the villain here – it was a good speed against brawn combat, and the kilt was a neatly eccentric touch. Wouldn’t mind seeing a re-match here.

As always, with NGC, the fight’s never over till it’s over. Really like the element of the unexpected in your films.

  • Dec. 1, 2012 at 6:13 pm

This looks amazing. A quick question re: the one chance films (most of which I’ve bought) – is there a time limit? I’m away from the desk for two weeks and would hate to miss my window!

  • Dec. 1, 2012 at 11:23 pm

I really liked the episode. The both characters played their roles well. I am a fan of the heroines costumes more like Lady Victory or Shadowstar, but the girl was still beautiful. All of the women have been. I would have liked to have seen DD go more limp when she went out in this episode. It looked like she was trying to pose when she was being laid out, but she was supposed to be knocked out. She played the arrogant heroine well, and the fighting scenes were well done. I liked the twist, and hope to see more things like that in the future. Hopefully there will be another Lady Victory episode in the near future. All your characters are great, but she is my favorite.

  • Dec. 3, 2012 at 2:55 am

@James – Could you email me about this and I will sort it out:

@Aldous – No, there isn’t really a time limit, the email will work for more than two weeks I’m sure so you’re okay.

@Kaptureme – I’m pleased that you enjoyed it, we will work on her limpness in future. I hope there will be more Lady Victory too, she is a wonder to work with.

  • Dec. 3, 2012 at 1:59 pm

It wouldn’t be bad to see some crossover at this point, mixing villains … like Lady Victory vs. Sadie Paine, or Shadowstar vs.Delilah Crunch etc. =)

  • Dec. 3, 2012 at 4:08 pm

Yes that has always been the plan. Are those matches you particularly want to see or just examples?

  • Dec. 3, 2012 at 9:31 pm

Ok i got caught, I actually want to see right those 😀 lol

Because I like F/F … so I’m a little bit biased in the choosing of villains =)

  • Dec. 4, 2012 at 2:46 am

Haha! That’s fine I will bear it in mind. There will be more Fail-Safe Sisters in 2013 for sure. Of course we have a new character to introduce, have you seen her yet?
