Next Global Crisis – Season 2, Side Mission 2

Side Mission 2 from Next Global Crisis features a new Bluebird costume, an intense f-vs-f fight scene, and a surprise I won’t spoil in this review. I enjoyed this side mission more than the first one, and I’m really impressed with Claire Yellowlees’ performance in particular.

The first sequence in Side Mission 2 involves some very nice editing as we find Bluebird already in the heat of battle with a male opponent. She’s in “street clothes” at this point; the new-costume reveal comes later. The scene is intercut with a flashback explaining the need for a new Bluebird costume (it’s not just for appearances; there’s actually a practical story reason for this). As Bluebird quite easily dispatches her initial opponent, her “real” adversary appears—Eliza Rose, a female fighter in skin-tight black leather and red boots who wants to take Bluebird down permanently.

The fight begins, and it becomes apparent that the fight choreography, which a few commenters may have found somewhat lacking in the previous Side Mission, is back to its typically high Next Global Crisis standards. This is a very well-done fight scene, with Bluebird taking a real beating (lots of stomach punches, suffocation holds, etc.). Eliza Rose wants to test Bluebird’s alleged “second wind” power and decides to force the issue by trying to render Bluebird helpless as early as possible.

I don’t want to spoil the remainder of the episode, but the fight continues between the two lovely ladies, and it’s a pretty fierce battle. The two characters even get a chance to critique each others’ costumes. Speaking of which, I really like the new Bluebird costume, which makes its debut appearance here. I actually think its an improvement over the previous costume, but I’m sure this could potentially be a point of controversy amongst the illustrious Heroine Movies commenters.

I feel that everyone can agree that both ladies give terrific performances. Anna Wilde, who plays Eliza Rose, is suitably sinister and intense (I love the very slow head-turn towards Bluebird in the beginning). I hope to see more of her as the series continues. And by now, everyone knows to expect great acting from Claire Yellowlees, and she delivers here with the usual blend of sassiness and pureness of heart that makes Bluebird such an appealing character. She’s super attractive too, so that doesn’t hurt either.

Next Global Crisis fans really should check out Side Mission 2. The quality of the acting, editing and fight choreography is very similar to that of the main episodes, so if you’re a fan of the company’s work, I recommend this episode. (If you’re not familiar with NGC’s work yet, this video provides enough background information to explain the scenario for newcomers as well.)

Space Special Agent Angie from Zen Pictures (Preview)

Enjoy these fine images from Zen Pictures’ new release, Space Special Agent Angie, starring Miki Mochiduki and Yuna Hashimoto. It’s directed by Sosuke Higashimura, whose Zen films haven’t exactly dazzled me in the past, but I’ll always give Zen Pictures a chance.

Story

Angie is a Space Special Agent newly stationed at Earth, where her brother Gai Shinmei, also known as Space Special Agent Gain, currently lives. In her fight against Sorcie, a female warrior sent out by Ryuze, a woman officer of the space criminal syndicate Taboo, Angie notices that Sorcie is not really a bad woman at heart. Angie wins the battle, but instead of killing Sorcie on the spot, she attempts to persuade her to mend her ways. However, Sakaki and Mizushima, members of Earth’s Defense Forces interfere and take the captive warrior away, as they bear feelings of rivalry toward Space Special Agent Gain. They start torturing Sorcie, trying to get information about Taboo, but Angie steps in and rescues Sorcie, unable to overlook such atrocities. Sorcie learns she has been deceived by Ryuze, but too late. Angie and Sorcie lose the battle with a Taboo officer Grome confronting them. Sorcie is severely wounded, and Angie is captured and subjected to tortures. To save Angie, Sorcie defeats Ryuze at the cost of losing her life, dying in Angie’s arms. In her fit of anger she wages a fight against Grome, an enemy too strong for her, with her weakened body after severe tortures. What will become of Angie’s fate?

Director’s comment

The film stars fresh and charming Miss Miki Mochiduki, and Miss Yuna Hashimoto, who is now a familiar face for fans of our company’s films. It has been a long time since I worked for Zen Picture last time, but filming went very smoothly thanks to the great jobs done by our leading ladies. I think we made a great film with a nice combination of vivacious and joyful Mochiduki-san and gorgeous and sexy Hashimoto-san. I personally like the facial expression of Hashimoto-san’s Sorcie casting a spell on the men. She is so sexy! I want as many people as possible to watch her charming face. Please don’t miss it.

“Sibling Rivalry” from Heroine Legends

Logan and his fine team over at Heroine Legends just keep pumping out episode after episode. They’re back with the sixth episode of their first season—Sibling Rivalry. Heroine Legends has also introduced a new way to watch their videos (details inside!)

Much like the other episodes that have introduced new characters, it takes a while for things to ramp up in Sibling Rivalry. Four girls are enjoying a hike and talking about how most men are jerks. Can’t really disagree with them there. Suddenly, two auras drop in the middle of all four and merge with two of them (who happen to be sisters) but with vastly different results.

Karen, who’s sort of an emotional train wreck at the time, merges with her aura and takes on a decidedly salty personality. Her sister Katie, who seems happy and in a committed relationship, seems to be fine. Is that the secret to how the aura’s affect you? Meanwhile, in a park, a raven-haired beauty fights off two goons. She struggles to hold them off but is eventually successful. She is then approached by a mysterious man who offers her an opportunity to visit her father.

We cut back to the sisters who also happen to be roommates. Katie’s boyfriend drops by for a visit and things are going swimmingly until Karen decides to kiss her sister’s boyfriend. If you don’t know that a catfight is coming after this moment, you just haven’t been paying attention. The girls take turns pulling each other’s hair, strangling one another, and punching each other right in the boobs. Yeah, you read that right. If there’s not a boob-punching fetish out there, Heroine Legends may have just started one.

Karen figures out how to transform and begins to dominate her sister. The fight moves outside and Karen continues to control most of the action. After the intervention of an innocent bystander, Katie transforms, and it’s an all out ninja girl duel. Katie begins to strangle her sister but Karen is able to break her hold and choke Karen out. Actually, she may have killed her. It’s not totally clear which one it is and that may have very well been the producers intent. Maybe Logan can clarify.

This is a good film, especially if you’re into cat fighting action. The combat varies greatly in this episode from old school hair pulling to well-choreographed martial arts fights. One of the things I find amazing is how many character the producers have introduced in this series. It may not be difficult to find actors in Los Angeles, but it’s not cheap either. I think everyone that they have cast, even in minor supporting roles, has been talented, and this film is no exception. I think this shows that Logan is not cutting corners and is trying to deliver the best films he possibly can.

Among the things you might enjoy in this episode are the aforementioned boob punching, a pair of reverse bearhugs, knockouts , strangulations and several stomach punches. This was my favorite film of Heroine Legends’ since the premier, and I look forward to seeing more.

Sidekick: Looking back and upon re-reading my Cult Retro reviews, I don’t think I’ve ever properly relayed what great filmmakers these guys are. Without question, Cult Retro has become my favorite American producer, and I don’t think there is any doubt they are one of the best in this particular genre. I mentioned how much I am looking forward to the season two finale, but it’s the small glimpses I’ve had at season three that have me tremendously excited. A couple weeks ago, Cult Retro had a fund-raising drive where for a donation they gave contributors access to behind the scenes footage and photos of season three.

We’ve seen Stormy Tempest in peril before, but judging from the material they released I think they intend to take it to a new level next season. Stormy faces off against several adversaries including Clayton the Sleeper, a swamp monster, and a new character named Velocity Blaze.

It’s actually the Velocity Blaze footage that piqued my interest the most. My favorite type of peril videos are where the heroine is physically outmatched and has to come up with creative solutions to winning the fight. Well, it looks like Stormy is going to have to do just that because the small amounts of footage they released with the two characters facing off shows a damn near invulnerable Velocity Blaze just dominating Stormy.

Keep in mind this is making-of footage so some or all of it may be cut, but it showed Blaze easily lifting Stormy in the air by her costume, slamming Stormy’s head into a tree over and over, and Blaze yawning in boredom after taking Stormy’s best punches. The footage looked great, and it appears that Stormy is going to take a beating like never before. Can’t wait for Stormy vs. Velocity Blaze!

“Wunder Woman: Terror From the Sky” from FightGirlz2000

FightGirlz2000 is a company I have always kept a close eye on. As the quality of their videos has increased, they’ve started to enter territory that might interest many Heroine Movies readers. Now, they’ve really made a move in our direction with their first-ever superheroine movie.

Right away, you can sense this is not the normal FightGirlz video. Wunder Woman: Terror From the Sky opens up much like the 1970′s television show. It has the identical music and similar, if not identical, graphics of the TV show. After the opening credits, we are treated to our first-ever FightGirlz F/X shot intercut with stock footage of a military installation detecting an incoming spaceship.

We then flashback to five hours earlier as Wunder Woman chases an armed thug outside. He fires several shots that our heroine turns away with her bracelets. Wonder Woman is closing in when she is struck by a car. This buys the goon some time to barricade himself in a house, but it’s to no avail. Wunder Woman knocks the door down and proceeds to beat the goon down. The goon (Luke) takes some impressive stunt falls in this scene, and Rochelle is at the top of her fighting game as usual.

Fast forward a bit as we see Rochelle doing her best Lynda Carter imitation decked out in a short skirt and glasses. She sees a news report about a meteor crash and receives a call from the President. As you can probably guess, it wasn’t a meteor at all but the spacecraft that had crash landed. The President tasks Wunder Woman to investigate the site where she runs into a nameless blue skinned alien played by Zoe Hammar.

Zoe had activated a device that caused catastrophic weather conditions all over the globe to get the heroines attention. Wonder Woman snags the alien with her magic lasso and things briefly settle into a more old school FightGirlz feel. The opponents exchange some punches for a bit, but the alien escapes by disorienting WW with a blast from her weapon.

The faceoff continues in a barn where the two take turns beating the hell out of one another. The alien is temporarily able to paralyze WW with her weapon and removes her belt and lasso rendering her powerless. She then ties WW up to a pole and lands several punches to the helpless heroine causing her to bleed and bruise.

It turns out that the alien race wants to learn the location of Paradise Island in order to unlock the Amazon secret to immortality. Wunder Woman isn’t talking however so the alien knocks her out, lifts her over he shoulder, teleports away, and we are told the story will be continued.

When I heard that FightGirlz was going to do a superheroine video, this was not exactly what I expected. I mean that as a compliment as they went far bigger on production values than they ever had before. They shot in several different locations both indoor and outdoor. Some of the shots are obviously stock footage, but they put several of their own F/X shots in, which I believe is a first.

I also expected them to go down the normal “girl power” route, and through a good portion of the video they do, and then BAM! Wunder Woman takes an absolutely huge beating, and I was pleasantly surprised at the change. Really good stuff, and something I think peril fans will enjoy.

Rochelle is great as Wunder Woman and although not as tall, she definitely has a Lynda Carter type thing going on. Zoe also cemented her role as my personal favorite Fightgirl. Quite frankly, I think she should always play the villain in their films. She just brings such a physical presence to her appearances and always delivers a great performance.

This is a good time for our genre. We have big time producers like Cult Retro and Next Global Crisis delivering high end productions on a consistent basis. We have new blood like Heroine Legends making their mark. And now the smaller producers like FightGirlz and Ultraheroix seem to be finding way to up their games. I love it. Good times indeed.

If you have never purchased a FightGirlz video before this may be a good time to jump on board. It’s far and away their best all around video and I know more is coming.

UltraHeroix Presents “Swift Outrage”

I always gush over the films that Ultraheroix makes, so let me go with some criticism: these guys simply don’t release films fast enough. As far as criticisms that’s the best I can muster because they have just released Swift Outrage, and as always with their films, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The funny thing is, I’ve never been able to put my finger on why I have such an affinity for this company. As with the just about every other Ultraheroix production, you’re not going to be knocked out by stuff like production values or incredible special effect work. I think there’s just something incredibly engaging about the films they make. I think I see Ultraheroix as the proverbial Cinderella who was able to make their mark in competition against bigger, better funded, producers.

Swift Outrage picks up not long after the previous film Swift Moves ended, with Swift Girl face down and unconscious. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that fans of up-skirt shots are going to enjoy the first minute or so of this movie. Anyway, still powerless, Swift Girl slowly awakens and attempts to escape captivity. She makes it outside but hears a gunshot. Being the virtuous heroine she is, Swift Girl re-enters and is quickly knocked out by the Tessa, with a rage soaked in a green liquid.

Turns out that Tessa shot her boss Oliver Liviom, reasoning that he was going to do the same to her eventually. Swift Girl wonders out loud why Tessa didn’t just kill her when she had the chance. Tessa tells her that she wants revenge for all the past beatings that Swift Girl has given her. Still without her powers, Tessa revels in the fact that they are now on equal footing and things quickly get physical with Tessa prevailing.

Tessa picks up a gun and goes to finish off the heroine, but another gunshot rings out and Swift Girl awakens to find Tessa unmoving on the ground. Turns out Livion was still alive. Although he was able to disable Tessa long enough for Swift Girl to recover, Tessa survives and it doesn’t seem like Livion is going to. Although Swift Girl wins the day, Tessa wins the psychological battle by reminding the heroine that Tessa is now in control of a vast criminal empire and that she was the first person who ever defeated Swift Girl.

As with Swift Moves, the real draw to Swift Outrage is the two actresses. The actress that plays Swift Girl is stunning and does a great job playing both the virtuous and weakened heroine. I can’t say enough about the actress that plays Tessa either. She is talented and has real physical presence about her that makes her seem like a true threat. I also love her evil laugh that she breaks out in several times during the film.

As far as peril/fetishy material you get a weakened heroine for the vast majority of the film, the aforementioned up-skirt shot, a chloro scene with a knockout, and a heroine with her hands bound by ropes. Bottom line, kudos all around. Another great film from Ultraheroix.

With Marvel’s The Avengers taking the world by storm, we thought it would be interesting to write up a quick post about it and provide a place for comments. What did you think? Was it everything you hoped it would be and more? Was it Johansson-centric enough? Discuss below!

There are 1,000+ review of The Avengers online—some spoilery, some not. I don’t think adding another review recounting every second of the film would be of much interest. There’s a good chance you may have seen it already. So here’s a short rundown of what happens. [Warning: Spoilers ahead.]

After striking a deal with an alien race known as the Chitauri, Loki returns to Earth and infiltrates a S.H.I.E.L.D base. After taking control of several personnel, including Clint Barton, a.k.a Hawkeye and Eric Selvig, Loki successfully steals the Tesseract. In response, Nick Fury reactivates the Avengers Initiative and brings together several heroes in hopes of blending their unique talents into a response team.

Loki is captured but is freed due to an attack on the S.H.I.E.L.D Hellicarrier led by a still mind controlled Hawkeye. The attack sends the Hulk into a rampage and Loki is able to escape. Fury uses the death of a key character as motivation to keep The Avengers fighting and Tony Stark confronts Loki. Selvig successfully uses the Tesseract to open a portal that allows the Chitauri army to come through and attack Earth. In an absolutely huge action sequence The Avengers band together, fight off the alien menace and successfully close the portal.

Personally, I thought the film was fantastic. Writer/director Joss Whedon had a nearly impossible job in making this movie. I’ve read some of the criticisms, and I agree with many of them. But looking at the monumental task at hand, I have a hard time believing anyone else could have done better.

I saw the film with a packed house, and I have never heard a crowd erupt like they did when Hulk and Loki had a confrontation near the end of the film. I don’t want to spoil that scene for you, so I won’t. If you’re interested, it keeps popping up on YouTube. We would love to hear what you thought. Yui Aikawa in Giga’s Heroine Suppression Vol. 60

I’ve learned over the years that whenever the following question is posed—”Hey, is that a fetish?”—the answer is always “yes.” In this case, the “heroine eaten by giant snake” fetish is brought to life with Yui Aikawa as the lovely victim, who fights valiantly to avoid becoming snake food.

Right off the bat, we’re launched into a pretty epic costume transformation sequence. Yui Aikawa uses a magical phrase and makes a magical gesture with her hands, and suddenly everything magically turns pink and there are magical cartoon hearts everywhere and slowly, her clothes disappear and her costume materializes on her magical body. This sequence takes a while, allowing us to gaze at the lovely Aikawa at various points during her costume transition. For costume transformation fans, this should do the trick. (Snake-eating-heroine fans will have to wait a few more minutes.)

After an opening credits sequence which involves Aikawa dancing sexily for the camera (for no reason), the story resumes, with Aikawa’s superheroine friend (Iori Tsukimoto) having a really hard time with a group of evil thugs who are beating the hell out of her with punches, kicks, choke holds, and the like. Aikawa runs really, really far and finally catches up to them in time to kick all the bad guys’ asses.

Everything seems to be going pretty well for our heroines until the villains utilize a two-pronged heroine-defeat strategy: the main villain extends a tentacle and wraps it around Aikawa’s neck while a giant, slimy snake-worm slowly, slowly eats Tsukimoto. Seriously, it takes forever, but hey, for fans of this fetish, I’ll bet this is one of the greatest moments in the history of motion pictures. Once the snake has eaten Tsukimoto and the bad guys have escaped, Aikawa has a tearful moment at the side of a lake where she talks to Tsukimoto’s ghost and (I’m guessing) vows revenge against the bad guys and their uncouth worm-snake.

Aikawa enters the bad guys’ evil lair and encounters a group of thugs. She defeats them easily due to her magical fighting abilities. Come to think of it, I have no idea what her powers actually are in this movie, other than just looking amazingly hot. I guess she can just fight really well and maybe dazzle the bad guys with her wonderfully tailored, shiny costume. In any event, she encounters the main, tentacle-equipped bad guy and has a little chat with him just before the two characters start fighting. It’s not a bad fight scene but certainly not Giga’s best. Anyway, this is all just the prelude to the real fetish content of the video.

Before the “main course,” as it were, the video exhibits another fetish concept I’ve seen in a few other videos. It’s the “heroine in the process of transforming into another costume (or just activating her latent powers) but interrupted in the process and unable to complete the transformation ” fetish. This happens a couple of times during this fight sequence. Most of the time, Aikawa has a tentacle wrapped around her arm and another around her neck, and the bad guy beats her up with lots of stomach punches, choking, electric shocks, and other forms of torment.

Eventually, after a couple of successful attempts to fight the bad guys, Aikawa meets the dreaded worm-snake again, and the rest of the video involves her being eaten, trying not to be eaten, being slowly pulled into the snake’s mouth, trying to fight her way out, being eaten some more, and so forth. I won’t spoil the ending, but I don’t see a producer as successful as Giga frustrating its intended audience by allowing the heroine to escape uneaten.

Even though I don’t really know anything about this particular fetish, I really enjoyed this video. Yui Aikawa is probably my favorite Zen/Giga actress at the moment. She’s sizzling-hot and can act extremely well. Aside from the heroine consumption content that comprises much of the video’s running time, there are still some entertaining fight sequences and a lot of peril (punches, electric shocks, etc.) that all decent people can enjoy. I recommend it, especially for fans of Yui Aikawa.

Heroine Legends 1.5 – “Confusion”

What kind of metal is Kristina Hess made of? I swear, she is the only human being I’ve ever seen that has a shine to her. She’s either made of some type of metal or the glow she emits is just a side effect of being so damn hot. Either way, she’s back in the latest Heroine Legends release.

Confusion opens up where Episode 1 ended. Sara Thorne is down and out on the rooftop, but everybody else that was there before has disappeared. Instead, she is confronted by producer, martial artist, actor, director, and creator of Heroine Legends, Logan. At this point his characters name is not revealed, but we learn he wants to recruit Thorne to join a team of super powered individuals. Thorne refuses, and they have a short fight. Thorne takes a huge punch and wakes up back in her room.

She is joined by her friend that she met in the park in episode one and she seems to have no memory of the attack that took place that day. Thorne doesn’t completely understand what is happening so she decides to go see her sensei for advice. This time she runs into a man who used to possess an aura before it was taken away under unknown circumstances. He attacks Thorne in hopes of stealing hers but she puts him down in a well choreographed martial arts duel.

Thorne returns to her apartment where her boyfriend is waiting. Neither acts as if they have any memory of their fight on the rooftop and Thorne reveals to him what’s been going on. He makes a verbal slip up which clues in Thorne that he knows much more than he is letting on and they have a short fight. He starts the process of stealing her aura when she suddenly wakes up in the park more confused than ever.

She sets off to go meet her sensei again when she runs into two more goons. This girl really can’t catch a break. They fight for a while and Thorne holds her own rather well when they are interrupted by the bad guy from the premier episode. Thorne is able to escape and finally makes it to her sensei’s residence. However, she finds that her boyfriend is already there and catches him in the middle of a tense verbal exchange with her sensei. The sensei teleports both himself and the boyfriend away leaving Thorne to wonder what the heck is going on.

This was another good effort from Heroine Legends. Kristina Hess is just terrific and there aren’t too many actresses in the genre right now who do a better job portraying a heroine as well as she does. The fight choreography is well done and the action in this film comes rather quickly. It’s not what most of you would categorize as a peril film however, as most of the action is contained in four separate back and forth fights.

I did have one concern. Not really a concern more of a cautionary note. The Heroine Legends universe is getting big. Really big. Now, I have no problem with big storylines or big ideas but in the last two episodes several new characters have been introduced and there has been very little revealed about who they are and what they want. I’m all for mystery and plot twists but I think it would be wise to not overwhelm the audience with too many characters and not reveal their motivations. An audience shouldn’t have to make too much of an effort to understand what is going on and I found myself having to look back at the other films to remind myself who some characters were.

This is a problem that the producers at The Battle for Earth self-admittedly ran into and have promised to avoid when they kick off their second season. I think it’s way too early to worry about the same thing happening to Heroine Legends, but I thought I would throw it out there. Agree? Disagree? Let your voice be heard below.

Season 2, Side Mission 1 from Next Global Crisis

Fan favorite Angel returns (with a brand new costume) in Next Global Crisis’ first Side Mission episode, which sort of resembles the company’s Training Room series only with a more intense fight and higher stakes, in my opinion. How does this episode measure up? Let’s find out…

The episode begins with Angel (Anastasiya Breadson), decked out in a shiny new costume complete with tights (sure to be a point of controversy in the never-ending “tights vs. no tights” debate), ascending a staircase where a bad dude named Snare (Tom Ziebell) awaits her, having just injected a chemical into his neck.

Apparently, Snare is working for Red Mist and has been instructed to fight Angel in a test of loyalty. Snare brandishes a red rope which he uses as a weapon, whereas Angel is unarmed. Unfair if you ask me, and just the way I like it! The fight begins with Angel dodging a few swings of the rope and then moving in for the attack.

Snare gains the advantage by lassoing Angel, delivering punches, and then spinning her to the ground. Snare also seems to have the ability to resist Angel’s superpowers. The fight continues with some back-and-forth action. It’s all pretty well done, nicely choreographed and performed, with a variety of moves (stomach punches, kicks, face slaps, choking, etc.).

There’s even a scene where a weakened Ange has her hands and feet bound with Snare’s rope. In another thread, some viewers expressed some consternation about this since this sequence consists mostly of close-ups of Angel’s bound hands and feet (as opposed to shots of her whole body struggling against the ropes). I thought this sequence was just fine, but you may want to keep this in mind if it’s an important “fetish” element for you.

I won’t spoil the rest of the episode (there are a couple of surprises towards the end), so I’ll just wrap things up by saying I think this episode is wel worth $9.99 for fans of NGC’s work. I don’t feel it’s quite as intense as Next Global Crisis’ recent episodes (which I think are excellent), but as this is a “side mission,” it’s probably not intended to be. Much like the Training Room episodes, this series will apparently focus on training missions and exercises (and possibly other kinds of scenarios) that are secondary to the main NGC storyline. The video is just over 11 minutes long, so the price seems like a good deal to me.

Hey guys,

Just a heads up for something that has been in the works for a while now… I have been hired by another producer (who prefers to remain unknown at this time) to make a parody of some of key scenes from the 1984 supes movie. This will be a pg-13 release and will include a new Superior Girl, the Evil Selena, A giant Shadow Demon, thugs, Krystanite, new locations, new cameras, and all sorts of other goodies.

At my disposal is a really big green screen and I intend to take full advantage of it with lots of flying, epic fights, and special effects.

The Masked Seductive Heroine from Zen Pictures

I wish I knew how to quit you, Zen Pictures! You make the best movies about heroines in peril, and you deliver the goods consistently while also experimenting every once in a while to try new things, as you do in The Masked Seductive Heroine, which stars one of the most beautiful women ever to grace the computer monitor.

Our story begins in a nice, cozy restaurant which happens to employ a young woman who is by far the hottest waitress ever to deliver a tray of temakizushi. The restaurant owners, probably as a result of the worldwide economic calamity, have clearly decided to sex up the place by forcing their mousy waitress to wear thigh-high white stockings along with her bright pink apron. Fans of the fine dining establishment “Hooters” might disagree with me, but this is how you add sex appeal to a restaurant. The next time I’m Japan on business, I’m going to stop by this restaurant and praise the owners for this wise decision. (The waitress, by the way, is played by the amazing, beautiful and talented Yui Aikawa, who also happens to be the lead heroine of this film.)

Meanwhile, the bad guys sit in a smoke-filled room which is decorated, for some reason, with prison bars (kind of like my bedroom). There’s also a lot of exposed pipes. And a bartender. Come to think of it, what the hell is this place? Anyway, the bad guys are plotting to take over the restaurant and evict the owners. I only know this because I read it in the story description on the Zen Pictures web site. They pay a visit to the restaurant and act really creepy. One thug tries to put the moves on poor Aikawa. Another complains about the food and spits water all over the place. (Basically, they act like the average American restaurant goer.)

When they starting beating the crap out of the busboy, that’s when they’ve gone too far. Aikawa steps in to try to break up the ensuing fight and gets slapped across the face. She retreats to the kitchen, grabs a frying pan to use as a weapon, and then comes up with the most brilliant idea since Reaganomics™—she strips down to an incredbily sexy costume, including a tiny bright red bikini, matching gloves and cape, a cowboy hat and boots, and starts performing a sexy dance in slow motion. This is much more exciting than that lame frying pan idea. Job well done, Ms. Aikawa.

She proceeds to slap the bad guys around, easily defeating them in a very brief fight scene. The main bad dude walks out the front door while the restaurant patrons and staff thank Aikawa, who replies, in English, “My name is Masked (something), if in trouble, please call me again!” (According to Zen Pictures, her name is Tempting Mask, but I’m not able to understand her pronunciation of her name in English.) She walks out the door while her bosses are probably thinking, “Where the hell are you going? Put some clothes back on and get to work!” Back at their evil headquarters, the bad guys torture the middle-aged restaurant cook for information about the identity and whereabouts of Tempting Mask. They punch and kick him in the stomach and face for quite a while. (For some reason, there’s a lot of male-on-male torture in this movie. Not exactly my cup of tea, particularly in a movie starring possibly the most attractive woman in the history of the world.)

Just in the nick of time, Tempting Mask appears and orders a drink at the bar (I still have no idea why there’s a bar in the bad guys’ hideout, but I guess it’s a luxury evildoers can afford). The bad guys watch helplessly as Tempting Mask uses her one and only superpower: sexy dancing. Her body oozes along with generic hip-hop music, and the bad guys totally forget who and where they are (I’m experiencing the same thing gazing at the simply delectable body of Yui Aikawa). Eventually, the bad guys are reduced to just making grunting sounds while Aikawa undulates to the music. Just then, Tempting Mask delivers a swift, powerful kick that takes out both henchmen. She frees the restaurant cook and the two start to make their escape before they’re interrupted by off-screen evil laughter (never a good sign).

Some new bad guys walk in and fight Tempting Mask but are easily defeated… until the big pro wrestler villain from the Zen/Giga oeuvre arrives and starts choking our heroine. Eventually (after a very, very long scene where the bad guy’s face is trapped betwixt her legs), Ms. Mask is able to defeat her opponent. She even says, “Game over,” before crushing his skull with her knee. Unfortunately, though, the bad guys have taken her boyfriend/brother hostage, so she’s forced to surrender.

The next scene is really great for fans of AOH torture—it’s a several-minute long scene in which the scantily clad heroine is suspended from the ceiling by chains and punched and kicked in super slow motion. If Aikawa had anything less than a superb, perfect body, this scene might have come across as tedious or unnecessarily stylish, but as it is, this torture sequence becomes kind of extraordinary—Aikawa’s acting is great, the punches seem to have real impact (thanks in part to the sounds effects), and the whole thing is really well executed.

I’ve never really seen a sequence like this before, and this is one reason I love Zen Pictures so much. They’re always willing to try something new. I think this works really well, and if you’re a fan of this kind of content, you really have to see this movie. (Don’t worry; there’s some regular-motion torture in this scene too, and a de-masking.)

After the lengthy torture scene, the white-coated gentleman who appeared to be evil in the beginning, arrives and saves the day. I guess he was an undercover cop. Or something. Who cares? The movie basically ends there, with all of the good characters living happily ever after, and I guess with Tempting Mask returning to her waitressing job. But I’ll bet nobody will ever mess with her again, knowing that she keeps in her locker a red bikini/cowgirl outfit and has the ability to daze men with her dancing abilities if they ever think about causing trouble.

So, my final verdict is that Zen Pictures’ Masked Seductive Heroine is well worth the purchase price because of the absurdly beautiful Yui Aikawa and her equally absurd costume, which provides about 10% body coverage. The AOH torture scene is really great, particularly because of its use of slow motion, and Aikawa’s acting is top notch. There are a few things I don’t care for in this film (the very long and tedious choking and face-sitting sequence, which will probably delight viewers who crave that sort of thing, and the male-on-male torture), and I would have liked more fight scenes, but this is still a great Zen Pictures film, and I highly recommend it.

The big brute wants more of her skin to feel the pain so he strips her and covers her nakedness in pain. Splits her legs and slams her bottom into the wired posts, then sends her breasts in – so many more diverse devices of pain. No one enjoys being the bad girl more than Diana and she gets to let it all out on poor Kendra, she smacks the poor good girl and before she knows what hit her she is in the corner being beaten from every angle. Even when the gorgeous red head taps out from the pain, it only fuels the buxom brunette to go for more – so much more destruction. Hits to the face and gut but she doesn’t stop there, breast, throat and so many to the heart that her chest vibrates. She even pulls down super’s top and attacks her supple breasts, falling out of the ring doesn’t save her it only allows for a beating on the outside and rammed into the post. Finally sweat drenched and beligered she still resists and they resort to extreme measures that have our brave lady writhing from waves of pain – her wet, brown skin undulates as her muscles contract – how much of this can she take? Heroine Legends Episode 1.3 – “Delusional”

Another beauty with real talent, impressive fight choreography, and another episode featuring high-end production values. That’s what you get with Delusional, the latest release from Heroine Legends.

One question: Where is Logan finding his leads? OK, that’s a dumb question. They shoot in Los Angeles, and there is no shortage of beautiful young women out there. However, he has now found three leads that can act, pull off a fight scene, an fulfill all the responsibilities a lead actress has in these videos. The newest young starlet that I can only assume is going to have a large following is Tristan Rupp, who plays Dawn.

This episode gets to the action a lot quicker than the previous two. Dawn enters an apartment building and it appears she is vacillating between states of pain and pleasure. It’s not shown on film, but judging by her reactions, I’m guessing she just received her aura.

Dawn doesn’t have time to experiment with her new-found powers, as a few creepy looking characters in masks show up. She takes on several of them in fights that stretch all over the apartment building, and she gives as good as she gets. This fight scene is impressively done and I imagine it took a lot of time and coordination to pull off.

This scene also gives us an inkling of what her aura can do. She is able to take telekinetic control of the bad guys and actually have them assault one another. She still ends up on the run and when she turns to make a stand, the bad guys have vanished without a trace.

Dawn returns to her apartment where her friend Wendy is waiting for her. They talk for a while when Dawn suddenly realizes that she has no idea how Wendy got into her place. She also notices a mask in Wendy’s bag. The same kind of mask that her assailants were wearing.

After being confronted by Dawn about this, Wendy’s demeanor suddenly changes. She goes full on villainess and threatens to destroy Dawn’s perfect little life. She then knocks Dawn unconscious with the use of a rag that I can only assume is drenched in chloroform. At this point we don’t really learn why Wendy feels the way she does, but we do learn that like the previous two heroines, Dawn is a virgin. Maybe that’s why everyone in the Heroine Legends universe is always fighting. Nobody is getting any.

Dawn wakes up outside in a black super heroine costume and she looks great. However, Wendy and her masked friends are there to dole out some punishment. Dawn holds up for a while but the numbers are stacked heavily against her. She is choked, put in a reverse bear hug, given a backbreaker, knocked out, and tied to a tree.

She is awoken by a seemingly good samaritan named Abraham. Before he can release her, Abraham is confronted by Wendy who we learn has aura powers of her own. While Abraham and Wendy fight, Dawn is able to free herself and through the use of her powers, put Wendy down. Abraham didn’t seem all that shocked that these women had super powers so I’m guessing he knows a little bit about these auras.

I thought this episode was the best of the three and I think Dawn was my favorite character thus far. Tristan Rupp has all the tools to play a believable heroine and I thought she was flat out one of the best actresses I’ve seen in the genre.

Delusional didn’t do much to push the larger storyline forward, but it introduced a great new heroine and a team of villains that I liked. This film also had a nice mix of peril and girl power moments and I think this episode will appeal to a wide audience.

There is one more thing I wanted to point out. I think Heroine Legends has done an admirable job of getting away from the villains in T-shirts phenomenon that plagues a lot of productions. OK, so the guy on the rooftop in the first episode was wearing a T-shirt but for the most part they seem to be trying make their villains stand out a bit more with masks or martial arts type uniforms. I know this kind of thing is low on the list of what people care about in these films, but I appreciate the effort to upgrade this area. I hope other producers follow their example.

Synopsis

While on the look out for a serial killer, Diana Prescott gets drugged and captured by what seems to be a harmless young man. She wakes up bound and quickly notices her body is being explored! The person having a good time with Diana starts to have an inner conflict and his voice keeps changing while talking to himself. Diana demands to be set free and the young man snaps! Diana’s mouth is covered with a rag and an all to familiar chemical that slowly puts her to sleep.

The villain returns some hours later and doesn’t see his prey and begins to flip out. Wonderous Girl shows up and knocks the hell out of him as she tries to figure out if he is the one shes been looking for. While trying to subdue him, the villain tries to grope Wonderous Girl and notices she gets a little weaker each time he sexually assults her. This doesn’t go well for Wonderous Girl as the tables begin to turn and she finds herself on the receiving end of a vicous beating.

Wonderous Girl again finds herself fighting the effects of his soaked white rag but to no avail.. she passes out again helpless to stop his advances. While asleep our villain takes full advantage of the situation, rips up her costume, and fucks Wonderous Girl until she wakes up! Now to weak to stop him, Wonderous Girl is ravaged in multiple positions until the villain decides knock her out yet again! Our villain chains her up and argues with himself on what to do with Wonderous Girl.. Running time 25mins

Next Global Crisis – Season 2, Episode 4

Suki Deluxe is really hot. I imagine that is not breaking news to any of you. But while watching Episode 4 of the second season, the main thing running through my head was, “Wow! Suki Deluxe is really hot!”

Not my best written introduction for sure, but I think you get the point. You could easily say the same thing about Celestia, who is also incredibly attractive. The sheer hotness of the two lead actresses almost made me forget that (in my opinion) this is one of the best Next Global Crisis episodes ever produced.

The finale of season one and the premier of the current season each hold a warm place in my heart. They were number one and two on my favorite episodes list. However, I believe this episode belongs in that elite territory. I imagine a big highlight for many of you will be Suki’s new costume. It’s not that much different from when she premiered in the training room. There is a little less flair, and it features what some have called a “wet” look. The question is, does it work on her? The answer. Good God, yes.

We always go light on any plot spoilers for NGC episodes and we will do the same for this review. Just beware, minor spoilers are coming.

The episode opens up with a little flashback to the end of season one, when things weren’t going all that well for Suki Deluxe. She was kidnapped, mind controlled via a collar, and she unwillingly played a big part in the downfall of Ms. Freedom.

Suki is out for revenge, and her target is a surprisingly clean-cut Sebastian Lunar. We rarely ever discuss the male villains in these movies but I don’t think there is a better one in the genre than Sebastian. The actor that plays him is terrific, and he has never been more menacing.

Sebastian apparently isn‘t doing a good enough job of keeping a low profile as James Roman excoriates him over the phone. His public appearances help Suki and Celestia track him down, and Suki confronts him alone. This episode is kind of a slow build. It takes a few minutes to get to the fight scenes, but I don’t think of this as a negative. The dialogue is top notch, the acting is great, and the opening verbal exchange between Suki and Sebastian is just terrific. When the fight begins, Suki has the advantage; however, Sebastian pops one of those pills, and things quickly go downhill for our heroine. I think I need to stop here. It was just so well done, I don’t want to spoil anything. Rest assured that there is a ton of peril in this episode, highlighted by plenty of stomach punches, a choke out, and a great bearhug scene. Although they each have their moments, the heroines take a real beating in this episode.

My unsolicited advice, you should buy it. Why? Great acting, great directing, great writing, great choreography, great costumes, great production values, just all around greatness. Plus Suki and Celestia are really hot.

Stormy Tempest – Women of Tomorrow from Cult Retro

Thank God for quick turnarounds. Cult Retro is back with another entry in the Stormy Tempest series, and it’s a winner. Stormy Tempest: Women of Tomorrow is easily one of their best mixes of story, peril, great FX and girl power, and it’s sure to please fans of the series.

When the story resumes, Stormy is still hiding out from the Gorla Monks at the home of Edward Karbunkle. If you remember the last episode, Edward is being romantically pursued by the beautiful Lacey Slater. In an attempt to impress Edward, Lacey donned a knock off Stormy Tempest costume not knowing Edward had the real Stormy stowed away at his house. This kind of backfires on Lacey as the Gorla Monks mistake her for the real Stormy Tempest.

Back at Edward’s, Stormy is still falling into those peril filled delusions that she was suffering through in previous episodes. It more mental peril as she struggles in vain to reach for her belt. In the delusion the belt is basically a symbol of her self confidence. It’s a simple yet well designed scene and the beautiful Nicola Rae plays it perfectly. The scene ends with Stormy breaking out of the delusion and her confidence is restored.

Meanwhile, the Gorla Monks have a powerful weapon at their disposal. It’s a device that gives the user twenty minutes of Superman like powers. One of the monks puts it on and flies off to capture Stormy.

Lacey shows up at Edward’s house and finds Stormy in a state on undress after taking a bath. A devastated Lacey runs away and she is confronted by the “super” monk. He lifts her by the throat, knocks her out, picks her up in a cradle and flies off.

The Gorla army reconvenes and discovers that they have targeted the wrong woman. The real Stormy is still safe at Edward’s and learning about the pleasures of alcohol intoxication. Lacey is about to be killed when she grabs the device off the monks, granting her incredible powers.

The next scene is the highlight of the film and quite frankly the best put together action sequence I’ve ever seen in the genre. Seriously, I would put it up against anything Zen Pictures has ever done. It’s a wonderful display of what a gifted internet producer is capable of as Lacey absolutely tears apart the Gorlar army. Pretty much every Superman like power is on display here. Super strength, super speed, super breath, flight, laser vision, x-ray vision, super hearing, invulnerability, you name it, it’s in the scene.

The monks attempt multiple times to take Lacey down. Their lasers simply bounce off of her. The hit her with blunt weapons and punches, none of which have any effect. She just systematically takes them down with every power in her arsenal and it’s just magnificent. The actress that plays Lacey, Aliya Hayes, is ridiculously good looking and does incredible work here. I know Cult Retro already has a lot on their plate, but if they ever do foray into the superheroine genre, they have a perfect actress at their disposal.

I was hoping that Lacey was going to fly off and lay the smack down on Stormy for messing with her man. Stormy versus a Supergirl type character would have been epic as I don’t think we have seen any F/F peril in the Stormy Tempest series. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen. Oh, well. Maybe someday.

The film ends with another display of Lacey’s super strength and a to be continued. The next episode is the finale of the second season and a trailer at the end shows that Stormy gets physically involved more than she has been lately. This was just another stellar piece of work by Cult Retro. Bravo. I swear, five years ago I would have never imagined we would have so many high end producers. I thought fans of this genre were doomed to a lifetime of no talent models fighting each other in a cheap motel rooms. Thank God for producers like Cult Retro.

Indecent Kickass from KickAssKandy

KickAssKandy has just released its latest effort, Indecent Kickass, featuring the sexy Emanuelle facing off against her cheating boyfriend, who has made a huge mistake in scorning his lover, who happens to be an extremely skilled female martial arts fighter.

Flexibility. I think that’s a key word in describing the latest release from KickAssKandy, Indecent Kickass. Incredible, breathtaking, otherworldly flexibility.

This is a little different type of effort from KickAssKandy. It’s still very much a girl power film, but it doesn’t really take place in the spy girl genre like just about every other film they have shot. Instead, this is more of a guy cheats on girl, girl finds out, girl kicks his ass kind of film. Here is a little rundown from the site.

When Emmanuelle, the most flexible, elegant and utterly brutal fighting girl in the world, finds out that her boyfriend has cheated on her she takes her time and pleasure to beat him up with the most exquisite array of girl fighting moves known to womankind. This lethal martial artist has the highest and deadliest kick of all time! Indecent Kickass is girl fighting dripping in sex appeal and men can’t help but fall in love with Emmanuelle!

I guess the best place to start is with the newest Kandygirl, Emmanuelle. She’s actually a rather homely looking woman. Just not at all attractive. OK, that’s a lie. She’s a ten. Perfect in every way and apparently she could kick the moon if she wanted to. That’s the big highlight of this video. Emmanuelle can do just about anything with her legs. I don’t know if she is a dancer, a martial artist, or a contortionist. It’s possible she’s all three, but rest assured, she uses her talents to do things that we have never before seen in this genre.

I thought this was one of the better fights ever choreographed by KAK. I don’t know if Emmanuelle has stage fighting experience, but she asserted herself incredibly well in this film. It always helps to work with a talented stuntman and the one in the film was great and took what looked to be several hard falls. There are punches, head butts, knee lifts, and scissor holds, but the kicks in this movie rule the day.

Remember, this film is all about girl power. Emmanuelle takes a couple of hits, but she’s never in any real danger. For those of you who are fans of up-skirt shots however, this may just be your Citizen Kane. The entire movie is pretty much one big up skirt shot as Emmanuelle spends a lot of time with one of her legs in the air.

As a girl power fan, I really did enjoy this film and highly recommend it to people with similar tastes. I thought it was kind of a neat idea to stray from the spy girl genre and do something else. A woman scorned isn’t exactly new ground, but KAK put their own little twist on it which is always a good thing. My only problem was the preposterous nature of the storyline. This guy cheated on Emmanuelle. REALLY??? Is he blind? What the heck would possess him to do that?

Anyway, our girl power reviews tend to start a lot of discussion, especially the most recent ones. We love discussion on this site but I think most peril fans know by now that KAK is never going to change direction. However, I think there is some stuff coming down the road on BadAssKandy that may interest a great many of you so we‘ll keep an eye on them and keep you in the loop. And don’t forget the upcoming eight episode arc that is going to feature the war between the KAK and BAK girls. That should be a lot of fun.

Heroine Legends Episode 1.2 – Inner Confllict

Following up on its very well done premiere, Heroine Legends has just released its second episode, which features many of the same things that made the first one so enjoyable—a stunning lead actress, an engaging story, and some nicely choreographed action scenes.

Episode 1.2 tells the story of Aurora Kline, who is played by actress Lauren Dixon. Lauren makes Heroine Legends two for two in the casting category. She is beautiful, is a tremendously talented actress, and can handle herself quite well in a fight scene. I think it says a lot that Heroine Legends is just not throwing any pretty face in front of the camera. They seem to be taking their time and ensuring these girls can handle all aspects of making their characters come to life, which is appreciated.

Much like the premier, the episode is a little slow at the start. We see Aurora just milling around her apartment for a few minutes. However, sinister forces are gathering. Two men meet in a stairwell and discuss their plan to get Aurora to a specific place at a specific time.

In all honesty, it’s not the most well-executed plan. One of the men just walks into Aurora’s apartment in a T-shirt claiming he is with the F.B.I. Aurora isn’t buying any of it and the two begin to fight, a fight which Aurora mostly controls. She puts her assailant down with not only her martial arts skills but with a flash of light that she is able to generate from her hand. How is that possible since Aurora has not received her aura yet? More on that in a minute. Aurora pulls a piece of paper out of his pocket that leads her to a meeting with the other man from the stairwell.

Although a bit cryptic about bigger picture things, he explains to Aurora that she received her powers by accident. If I understood correctly, an aura hit her mother when she was in labor, funneling the aura through her. Aurora survived, her mother did not, and now a second aura has locked on to her and that is not a good thing. Apparently, her two auras are going to fight for control which is going to make things a little rough on our heroine.

We learn that there are at least two types of auras The Aura of Light and the Aura of Shadows. I can only assume that the second aura that struck Aurora was the Aura of Shadows, as her personality becomes much more aggressive. I thought this was a great creative choice by the producers and it lets them play out kind of a Jekyll and Hyde type scenario which should make for some great storytelling.

Shortly after being infused by the second aura, Aurora is tested twice. She is thrown into a fight against a sexy villainess and then does battle against three men at once. I don’t want to spoil any of the major action sequences but Aurora does face her share of perils. Among other things she is punched in the stomach, hit with a low blow, chocked, and crushed in a reverse bear hug.

This episode did raise a few questions, at least in my mind. Most if not all of these will probably he answered in time. But…

1. There seem to be individuals who know exactly when and where someone is going to get their aura. How does that work?

2. Do the girls have to be virgins in order to get these powers? Episode one made it clear the lead was a virgin and episode two hints that Aurora is in the same boat.

3. I just saw a picture of Tempest from The Battle for Earth series on your website. Same costume and powers. Same name. Does Heroine Legends take place in TBFE universe or are we going to have our first heroine in peril lawsuit on our hands? Just wondering.

These questions aside, if you liked the first episode you’ll like this one. They are similar, although episode two does have more combat. Bottom line, I thought this was another winner. I think I liked it even more than I liked the first and I’m very much looking forward to episode three. I’m also looking forward to not writing the word aura and the name Aurora in the same review for a while. That was getting annoying.

AC Comics has released a collection that might be of some interest to superheroine peril fans. Bizarre Thrills: The Paragon Publications Story Vol. 1 features the work of artists like Bill Black, George Perez, John Byrne, Dick Giordano and others and features a variety of perilous situations.

This is it—the “non-AC” book that AC Comics fans have been waiting almost three decades for!! If you read & enjoy AC Comics, you’ll want to have this book to understand where it all comes from. In an era before the independent, direct-sales comic book distribution system existed, Bill Black created a line of comic-book style periodicals that incorporated the idea of design and featured his own original characters in ongoing, interconnected stories- a comics universe. Girls of War Destruction Vol. 2 from Ring Divas

Here’s a guest review of the new RingDivas custom video Girls of War Destruction Vol. 2 from MAV, the very same gentleman who ordered it. Is MAV pleased with his order? Did RingDivas do a good job of bringing his vision to life? Let’s see what MAV has to say…

The movie opens after about 2 minutes of credits. Cali is breaking into a room wearing a sleeveless tank and a lingerie bottom. She’s jumped from behind by “Demon” who grabs her in a chokehold. He throws her against the wall. Cali lunges back at him but Demon ducks under her punch and hits her in the gut, then in the head. As Cali’s passing out, Demon throws a kick for good measure. The acting overall is very poor in this opening sequence.

Now 3 minutes into the clip, we see Cali strapped AOH to the “Torture Rack of Death” (TROD). She’s still wearing her original outfit but is dangling tightly by her wrists AOH with her arms straight, and we can see her taut belly starting to show. Demon goes over to taunt her, then gives her a couple of gut punches. After a little dialogue, Demon gives her a couple of faceslaps before continuing with the gut/kidney punches, mixing it up with a couple of knees to the gut.

Cali’s verbal and physical reactions to the blows are pretty good. Demon chokes her for a bit with one hand before continuing with gut and kidney punches and kicks. After a little dialogue, Demon slaps Cali across the face then takes her tank top off, revealing a camo bra with another thin bra underneath.

Now 6 minutes in, we see Cali still strapped AOH to the TROD in her bikini top and bottom but her skin is nice and oily/sweaty. She puts on a nice pained expression on her face before Demon walks over and raises her chin with a billy club (acted out by a flashlight). Cali’s torso/ribs look amazing in this position. Demon strikes her repeatedly in her stomach and side, yielding some nicely acted moans of pain and writhing from Cali. Demon pulls her hair back and then hits her in the back before continuing the torso beatdown with the billy club. He then chokes her a bit for good measure before continuing the belly torture with Cali acting out the torture pretty well and looking superhot doing so.

It is around this time Demon starts talking to a cardboard cutout of Cali’s rival, which is kinda dumb, but easy to ignore with Cali’s writhing sweaty body front and center. Demon goes back to Cali to continue torturing her with billy club blows to her belly and a few to her back, which makes Cali look superhot as we see a sideways profile of her body with her back arched. Demon continues with billy club blows and punches to the kidneys. After a couple of slaps to the face, Demon readies Cali for a knockout blow-an uppercut to the crotch, which makes Cali spasm and cry out in pain before passing out while dangling by her wrists on the TROD.

Final scene starts at about 12 minutes, with a pan shot of Cali’s nice torso as she’s still passed out with her head leaning back tied AOH to the TROD. Demon approaches and gives her a couple of chops to the kidneys to wake her up. He then grabs her chin (producing the best dom picture of the video) and continues to intimidate Cali. She does not give in yet and Demon goes offscreen. We now see a look of concern on Cali’s face as Demon approaches with something in his hand. Cali remains defiant until Demon applies the “taser” (no sound unfortunately) to her torso area, causing Cali to writhe in pain.

Demon continues intimidating and “tasering” Cali while talking to the cardboard cutout. Cali does a decent job of selling the taser torture, but not as good as when she was acting out getting hit. The final taser shot just above her chest breaks Cali as she says she will do as Demon says. He intimidates Cali one more time and then slams her head against the TROD, knocking her out. We see Cali hanging from the TROD for a bit as Demon laughs while carrying out his cardboard cutout to finish this last 5 minute scene.

Pluses: Cali looks superhot throughout, especially AOH in a bikini while rubbed with oil, Cali acts out the torture of blows well, the camera does not veer from Cali (Ringdivas probably heard that we don’t care about closeups of the villain).

Minuses: Setting is not gritty, the taser sound is not present in the video (thus making the acting look silly), and the torturer acts silly with his cardboard cutout sometimes.

Overall, I’d give this movie a B+. Cali’s superhot AOH and acts out the torture well, which more than offsets the lack of taser sound and the weak setting. This is a good purchase for AOH torture lovers like me.

Log Line: A rogue weapons scientist turned femme fatale tests Wonder Woman’s resolve.

Synopsis: Former U.S. weapons scientist Samantha Jones turns terrorist, taking the name Minerva (Paris Kennedy). Minerva attempts to destroy the IADC but Wonder Woman (Christina Carter) thwarts the fiery act. In revenge the villainies kidnaps IADC Director Stephanie Trevor (Tasha Reign) and sexually enslaves her with a mind control device in an effort to lure Wonder Woman to her doom.

Diana Prince spins into Wonder Woman and heads off to save Stephanie Trevor. Wonder Woman defeats the evil genius and binds her with the magic lasso but Minerva cunningly escapes and renders Wonder Woman helpless.

Minerva dominates Wonder Woman, subjecting her to extreme bondage that presses the super-heroine’s limits but Wonder Woman won’t submit. Minerva turns to sexual exploit to break the Amazon Princess.

Feminine Spirit (Randy Moore) visits Wonder Woman in a dream. The Devine being restores Wonder Woman to defeat and recapture Minerva. Unfortunately, Minerva and her sex slave Stephanie Trevor team to recapture the heroine. Minerva sends Stephanie Trevor back to the IADC to be her spy and then turns her full attention to breaking Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman’s fate hangs in the balance.

LG: Liberty and Justice for All from SHG Media

UPDATED with review! SHG-Media’s LG: Liberty and Justice for All features the return of Liberty Girl in director bpd’s follow up to the much-beloved Liberty Girl: The Return. This is another solid effort from bpd, even though I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as its predecessor.

We begin with a prologue involving some mysterious shenanigans: a masked villain, a wheelchair bound bad guy, a thug, and a neck-snap. Next, Liberty Girl sleeps restlessly in her bed, dreaming about her horrid sexual assault (from behind) in the previous episode. When she awakens and learns from SHG2 News™ that she has possibly been framed for the murder of a supervillain, she springs into action and heads towards a mysterious location that could definitely serve as a villainous hideout.

When she arrives, she meets Miss Justice, played by Ashley Rose. Since Miss Justice believes in the mainstream media narrative that Liberty Girl committed the murder, she starts fighting Liberty Girl (so there’s some superheroine-on-superheroine violence for you). Two henchmen watching on a nearby screen interrupt the fight, and they, along with Miss Justice, gang up on Liberty Girl. There are face punches, kicks, belly punches, and a couple of devastating low blows. There’s even a shot I have never seen in any movie before, which I can only call the “spinning-crotch-cam.” It will make sense when you see it in action. (Or maybe it will never make sense). This sets up two more crushing low blows with Liberty Girl suspended in the air with her legs spread apart, allowing a villain to deliver punishing punches to the helpless crotch of Liberty Girl. Eventually, Liberty Girl is choked out. Miss Justice gets knocked out via hypnosis and falls unconscious.

Next, the two heroines are bound AOH. The camera somehow swirls underneath the two unconscious heroines in a shot I must call the “gravity defying crotch-oriented floating cam.” (Seriously, I don’t know how they did this.) The superheroines wake up and start struggling against their bonds when the bad guys walk in. In this situation, I believe it is a contractual obligation for at least one bad guy to say, “Ha ha… two for the price of one!” and the bad guy carries out his contractual duty with the energy befitting an evil henchman. The bad guys start beating up the heroines, with Miss Justice taking the brunt of punishment (including a knee to the crotch and some groping). Liberty Girl is hypnotized and forced to spank Miss Justice for a long time.

Eventually, Liberty Girl is tied to a table, groped by a bad guy, and then subjected to the horrid-looking metal-bladed sexual probe device from the trailer. I shan’t give away anything that happens after this point; you’ll have to watch the video to find out for yourself. Overall, I did enjoy LG: Liberty and Justice for All. I’d place it somewhere between bpd’s Liberty Girl: The Return and Amazing Girl. He’s a very talented director, and I think the action is pretty well done here. If you enjoy low blows, I do not see how you’ll be disappointed by this movie. Otherwise, the acting is pretty good, and the story moves quickly and offers plenty of fetish content for those into such things (and if you’ve read this far, you certainly qualify).

Heroine Legends Presents “Episode 1: Aura Control”

It’s always nice when a new producer comes on the scene. It’s even better when that producer seems to know exactly what they’re doing. Such is the case with Heroine Legends, which has just released its first video, Episode 1: Aura Control.

I’ll get into the story rundown, but for now I’m just going to go down the list of what worked for me. Now, I know that everybody has a different list of likes and dislikes, but I’ll try to stick to the basics and concentrate on what most of us agree makes a good superheroine movie experience.

1. With a well written introduction on their site (and used as a voice-over for the opening of the film), the filmmakers give the viewers a little look into the world they intend to create. If you’re going to tell an ongoing narrative, I think this is key. Here is the intro from the site itself.

At any given moment, somewhere in the universe, is a galaxy whose time is at an end. When this happens, it creates a surge of energy that spreads across the cosmos. As it does, it polarizes and groups into positive and negative energy. Once it reaches the end of it’s flight path, it is absorbed by whatever it collides with. In the case of living creatures, it has the influence to manipulate their behavior with it’s aura. This flux in our system creates those who are responsible for great deeds… and great destruction. We are at the mercy of those who absorb the energy. It is their choice whether to embrace the incredible strength of the positive– or succumb to the evil power of the negative.

2. They cast an incredible beauty as the lead actress. Want proof? Just take a look. Welcome to internet fame Kristina Hess. I think you’re going to have quite a following. By the way, there are pictures of the lead actresses for the next two episodes on the official site. I think it’s safe to say that these guys are not having any trouble finding attractive leads.

3. The incredible beauty has real talent. She can act, and she can pull off a fight scene. Let’s be honest, a lot of producers have trouble finding an actress that has one of these qualities. She’s asked to play several different emotions in this episode and she plays them all well. Heroine Legends really nailed this casting.

4. Take the incredible beauty and put her in a well designed, tight fitting costume. Remember, Sidekick sucks at identifying good costumes. (That’s right, I just went third person) Every time Sidekick likes a costume, the vast majority of site visitors hate it. However, Sidekick is going out on a limb here. Sidekick thinks most will like this one. It’s sexy, shows off plenty of skin, and just fits the actress perfectly. Tell us what you think. (Exiting third person.)

5. Put her in some peril, but make sure she goes into it fighting her ass off. More on this in the review, but even before she gets her powers, the character of Sarah Thorne is made to look like a heroine. That is to say she doesn’t back down in a dangerous situation. It makes us believe this is a girl that deserves to be blessed with super powers.

6. If you are going to have special effects, make them look good. And they do. The film isn’t overflowing with FX work but the effects they used were good. I thought the opening sequence was especially inspired and well edited. Anyway, enough of the preliminaries. Here is the review.

Sarah Thorne is just an ordinary girl. She wakes up on a Saturday morning, takes a shower, and meets her friends in the park for a little Frisbee. We learn that Sarah has a boyfriend named Brad, but for the time being, Sarah fully intends to hold on to her virginity. Sorry Brad.

Anyway, a goon who has been tracking Sarah shows up and confronts her. We get to see our first display of superhuman power as the goon stomps his foot on the ground and knocks over Sarah and her two friends. They must not be very close friends, because they run away and leave Sarah to fend for herself.

What happens next may have been my favorite part of the film. There has been a lot of discussion lately about how heroines should be represented in these films. The consensus seems to be that too many producers have been portraying these women as stupid, cowardly twits who are just begging to be captured. Heroine Legends wisely goes in the other direction. Although she’s outmatched, she stands her ground and puts up a good fight. She never waivers. Like I wrote earlier, the producers and this actress really make Sarah Thorne a character that you feel should be a superheroine.

In the fight sequence, Sarah is lifted by her throat and kicked to the ground. She gets in some shots of her own, but the outcome is never really in doubt. The goon mentions that Sarah will soon be getting her aura and that once it is bestowed upon her, he is going to take it.

Sarah meets up with Brad who quickly attempts to get Sarah in bed. Sarah shuts him down and realizes that she dropped her phone in the earlier confrontation. She goes back to the park and out of nowhere is struck in the back by a mysterious aura. Not knowing exactly what is going on, she goes to speak to her sensei. Sorry, I forgot to mention that Sarah takes karate classes.

The sensei seems to know a lot about these auras and wants to train Sarah in how to control it. The sensei puts his hand on her shoulder and teleports them both to another location for training. He also instantly puts her into a hot outfit. Thanks sensei; we were waiting for that. The reasoning he gives is that the uniform will help Sarah focus and embrace her aura. Sure, whatever works.

The two train for a bit and teleport back to their original location. Sarah returns home only to once again be confronted by the goon from the start of the film. He teleports Sarah to a rooftop where Brad is waiting for her. This was the one part of the film I didn’t quite get and maybe the producers can fill me in. It wasn’t clear to me if Brad was in league with the other goon, mind controlled, or just pissed that Sarah won’t sleep with him. Whichever it is, they start fighting.

Brad controls the majority of the fight. He lands several stomach punches and crushes Sarah in a reverse bearhug. The film ends shortly after that on a cliffhanger where the main villain is preparing to absorb Sarah’s aura.

This film is good—maybe the best pilot episode for an ongoing series since The Battle For Earth did Avalon and Next Global Crisis premiered with an episode featuring Powerstar.

Were there any shortcomings? Not really. At least nothing to get in a fuss over. Events in the film either happen very slowly or very quickly. Most of the slower stuff happens in the beginning of the film. I think this is to be expected. Being a first episode, you need to explain to everyone what the heck is going on.

Whatever your likes or dislikes, I recommend giving this company a chance. It’s only been one episode and they produced a film like seasoned pros. It looks like we have another high-end producer on our hands.

As a big fan of DVD-style behind-the-scenes footage, I am fascinated with the behind the scenes footage/outtakes reel that Next Global Crisis provides to anyone who joins their mailing list. Find out how to join the list (and read about the behind-the-scenes footage) here!

The first of the two videos is comprised of footage from regular episodes 1 , 2, 3, 4 and 5. The reel also includes cuts from Training Room episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4. The footage includes the majority of the season one roster and just about all NGC’s most popular characters . You get never-before-seen footage of Powerstar, Angel, Golden Hornet, Ms. Freedom, Athena, Suki, Bluebird, Magenta and Jade Vendetta.

The second video consists of footage from Episode 6 of the normal story continuity and Training Room 5 and Training Room 6. You get more Powerstar, more Angel, more Suki and just a touch of Nina Hellfire. I still stand by my position that Bluebird/Claire Yellowless is the best all around performer in the genre right now, but there isn’t a character I look more forward to seeing than Nina Hellfire. The actress that plays Nina is insanely talented and I hope to see more of her soon.

On top of the outtakes, a great deal of the footage centers around how the filmmakers work through a fight scene, and there are also several moments of peril. For example, Angel is dragged across the floor by her legs, Suki is bearhugged by Seabastian Lunar, and Ms. Freedom is bound in her own cape. You also get to see several of the actors out of character and they all seem to be friendly and genuinely enjoy the work they are doing.

I think this is a video well worth the time of any NGC fan. All you do is sign up to their mailing list and it’s yours for free! You also get access to the pre-release of all NGC’s films. Not really any downside here.

Trouble Brews in America: American Marvel Woman vs. Scarlett Witch

American Marvel Woman (CandleBoxxx) gets word that the Scarlett Witch (Angelique Kithos) is brewing up some trouble with unauthorized testing at her laboratory. She sneaks inside and has a peak around. After she hears a cackle, she comes back downstairs to investigate.

After a short back-and-forth, a fight ensues and both heroines engage in some well-placed punches and kicks. After a sky-high kick to the tall and menacing face of the Scarlet Witch, American Marvel Woman lets her guard down to reminisce the conversation. With a sneak attack from behind, a sleeper-hold puts this blond American sweetheart into a venerable slumber where she is then dragged away to face her fate.

American Marvel Woman is K-0 and carried over to a couch over the shoulder of her capture. There she lays on a couch while the busty witch helps herself to the taut body of the helpless heroine. After she is secured with a rope, she slowly awakens to discover her sticky situation. After her boots are removed, American Marvel woman remembers a key item in her inventory: A white cloth with chemicals.

Angel Avengers 04: MetalGypsy from CultRetro

Cult Retro is back with its fourth and, in my opinion, best episode of the continuing Angel Avengers series. This episode contains an attractive new heroine, upgraded fight choreography and the surprise return of an old villain.

For those who aren’t familiar with the Angel Avengers series, the focus is most definitely on girl power as the girls are never really challenged, with the exception of a few seconds in the third episode. I’ve always felt the best way to describe Angel Avengers is a spy girl series with a mix of supernatural elements.

This theme continues in episode four as the newest Angel, Metal Gypsy, played by Jennifer Trieste, is on the hunt for some bad guys who are taking control of people through the use of a magical gem. I don’t know anything about Jennifer, but she’s a very capable actress, she pulled off the fight scenes as well as any girl Cult Retro has ever cast, and she wears the hell out of her costume.

Actually, I’m not sure it was a “costume” in the general sense. Perhaps the producers over at Cult Retro can confirm this, but I’m guessing Jennifer has spent some time as a dancer, more specifically a belly dancer. Once again, I’m not positive about this, but I do know she is incredibly talented, so much so that they incorporated some of her dance moves into the fight choreography. It may have been a little tongue-in-cheek, but that is a big part of Cult Retro’s appeal, and I think they pulled it off nicely here.

[Possible spoiler alert] As far as the story, Metal Gypsy shows up as two of the henchmen from previous episodes are taking control of a couple of innocents. Metal Gypsy takes down three of her opponents with a mix of punches, kicks, and as mentioned previously, dance moves. The final bad guy tries to take control of Metal Gypsy with the magic jewel, but she is able to shake off the effects, force the goons to retreat, and break the hold over the innocents by crushing the gem. It is then revealed that Big Joel Nekoda who was thought to be killed in episode three is very much alive. [End spoilers]

This is a film that runs for a tad over six minutes, but I think it’s worth a look for only $5.95. I really think fans are going to enjoy the new heroine and, although I need to see more of her to be sure, I think she is as talented as anyone Cult Retro has ever cast, outside of Stormy Tempest herself, Nicola Rae.

Another thing I wanted to mention that I recently discovered is that Cult Retro maintains a rather interesting blog that gives great detail about their current and upcoming projects. You get photos, trailers, giveaways and all kinds of information that fans of everything Cult Retro will enjoy.

I don’t know what my favorite recurring series is right now, but I guarantee Stormy Tempest is in the top three. The blog is an enjoyable read and I took particular interest in some of the information they revealed about Stormy Tempest season three. Not only are we going to get more of Clayton The Sleeper, a great villain from a previous episode, they are also going to introduce what they refer to as a new space patrol heroine, Velocity Blaze. I don’t know anything about the character, to my knowledge they have not released a photo, but Velocity Blaze is maybe the coolest name for a character I’ve ever heard. Love it! Whether she is a character that is going to be an ally or enemy of Stormy Tempest is kind of unknown at this point. Any information that the producers could share on this character would be appreciated.

Next Global Crisis – Season 2, Episode 3

Apparently, there is no shortage of beautiful and talented actresses with perfect bodies in England because Next Global Crisis has just cast two new ones that fit that description perfectly. Welcome to the official review of Season 2, Episode 3 from Next Global Crisis.

[Warning: Possible spoilers below!] In the opening teaser we get a quick reminder of the showdown that took place at the end of Season 1 between Ms. Freedom and John Roman. We are also reminded that Red Mist operatives have access to a pill that greatly enhances the user’s strength.

Through a voice-over by James Roman, we are introduced to Erica Lynn, who in her brief tenure as a member of Elite Force was called The Deceptress. Alongside being gifted with incredible speed and acute senses, Erica has the ability to create an unknown number of duplicates. Upon hearing what happened to her former colleague Powerstar, Erica seeks out Red Mist to assist them in their efforts. Remember, to the general public, Red Mist is now considered the “police” of the world and it’s not universally known that their motives are less than altruistic.

James arranges a trap for Erica by sending her to a location where a Red Mist operative named Alexa Topaz is waiting. Under the belief that she is there to receive orders for her first mission, Erica turns her back to Alexa who aims a gun at her. Sensing the danger, Erica uses her speed and disarms Alexa who has no superhuman powers of her own.

Erica dominates much of the fight as she learns that James Roman set the entire meeting up. Apparently James isn’t too enamored with beings that have naturally occurring super powers and has an unrevealed plan to eliminate them. Alexa receives some assistance when one of the goons outfitted in gray from the first two episodes of this season arrives. He hands Alexa a strength enhancing pill and the fight resumes.

Erica is tasered and takes a punch to the stomach before her backup arrives. Herself. In a tremendous use of split screen work we see Erica’s power to duplicate herself in action. We now have a f/f and a mixed fight on our hands. Both the fights flow nicely and the producers made a good editing decision where they cut back and forth between scenes of the heroine being strangled and the heroine doing the strangling. I don’t know if it was a conscious decision but there is a ton of choke holds in this episode, so if you enjoy those kind of scenes, you should like this movie.

This film features a good mix of action, solid fight choreography, strong storytelling, and a dash of peril. The entire cast deserves credit for the work they did, but if I had to guess what character fans are going to gravitate to the most, it would be Erica. She is absolutely stunning. In my opinion, stunning enough to put her on the same level as my personal holy trinity of Angel, Bluebird, and Suki Deluxe. She is also a very talented actress and someone I hope to see more of soon.

Next Global Crisis just continues to deliver incredibly entertaining films. Episode 3 is no exception, and I am already greatly anticipating Episode 4. Everything NGC does just works, and they’ve really raised the bar for quality in the superheroine genre.

FightGirlz2000 Championship Series – Bout 4

Championship Series – Bout 4 from FightGirlz2000 features a f/f beatdown of epic proportions. For those of you not familiar with the “Championship Series,” it is basically a one-on-one fight taking place in a bracket tournament, and Bout 4 features perhaps the most brutal beatdown yet.

Each successive episode in the Championship Series has increased in quality, and Bout 3 may have been the best choreographed fight the company has yet released. For the most part every f/f video from FightGirlz is a back-and-forth affair. However, Bout 4 is most definitely not.

The fight takes place between two relative newcomers, Zoe Hammar and Olivia Gibson. Olivia is an attractive young Asian girl who brings a lot of energy to every video she is in. She has been really fun to watch and gets better with every appearance. Zoe is a powerfully built blonde who has recently filled the enforcer role in several different videos. And when I say “powerfully built,” I mean it. She is cut up like a fitness competitor and she shows off this fact several times in this video.

The fight begins with some simple dodges and jabs. Things start to pick up quickly as both girls land some harder blows. Zoe is able to shake off all of Olivia’s attacks, whereas Zoe keeps on knocking Olivia down with one punch. Zoe takes control and holds Olivia up by her hair and lands punch after punch to Olivia’s jaw. A defiant Olivia spits at Zoe, which is a big mistake. Zoe hoists Olivia up in a throat lift that lasts for almost 90 seconds. She lands several blows with her free hand as Olivia dangles in the air. Zoe finally drops her to the ground, hits her with an elbow smash, and the first of three rounds ends.

When round two begins, Zoe leaves herself wide open. Olivia takes advantage and lands her best punches, but to her shock, Zoe is completely unhurt. Zoe encourages Olivia to throw some more punches at her stomach. Olivia does and the only thing she ends up hurting is her own hands.

The rest of the fight is just a terrible thrashing. Olivia lands a punch here and there but once again, they seem to have no effect. Olivia started to take such a beating in this film I actually started to feel bad for her. That’s how one-sided it is. Near the end of the fight, Zoe hoists Olivia up in a backbreaker, and without wanting to spoil anything, I’ll just say the producers break the forth wall and turn the Championship Series into an ongoing storyline instead of just a simple group of f/f fights. It’s a cool twist, and I think FG2000 fans will like the ending.

The character of Zoe has quickly become a favorite of mine. I especially liked her turn in this video. The producers have turned her into an invulnerable heel that is poised to run through the other girls in this tournament. I don’t have any inside information, but I’m guessing this is not the last beatdown Zoe puts on someone.

In other FG news, John the producer posted something that you may have missed. Some of you have asked for alternate endings, especially in the M/F fights they produce. Well, John is happy to oblige. I don’t have a time-frame on it, but he has stated that he will soon be releasing films with alternate endings where the male will win. We will let you know when they release that type of film.

Supergirl XXX Starring Alanah Rae from Extreme Comixxx

Supergirl XXX represents a “mainstream porn” interpretation of a superheroine story. While it lacks the kind of content that would interest most superheroine fetish fans, it undoubtedly features enough graphic sex scenes to keep mainstream porn viewers interested, despite a paper-thin storyline.

As the film begins, Krypton (or its porn equivalent) is about to be destroyed, just as we’ve all seen a million times in the famous opening sequence from Richard Donner’s Superman: The Movie. There are a few subtle differences between that film and Supergirl XXX, however, which may not be apparent to the uninitiated. For example, in Superman, the father figure (Jor-El in that case) was played by the legendary Academy Award winner Marlon Brando, whereas here, he’s played by porn actor Buck Fuddy. In any case, Supergirl (Alanah Rae), a fully grown adult woman in full Supergirl costume, is placed into the escape pod to leave the planet just as it’s about to be destroyed. The characters very quickly provide us some exposition (Superman arrived at Earth several years ago, and that’s where Supergirl will be going), and then Supergirl escapes just as the planet is destroyed by cheap looking After Effects flames and a shaky camera effect.

This is followed by an incredibly long opening credits sequence in which names fly past us in outer space. Supergirl lands on Earth and very, very slowly walks towards a nearby city (which I assume to be Metropolixxx). Meanwhile, Superman (Dale Dabone), also in full costume right from the beginning, lays down on a bed next to a woman who is probably Lois Lanexxx (Jenna Presley). Superman describes a weird feeling, as though someone from Krypton has mysteriously traveled a very long distance to Earth. Of course none of that matters at all, because 30 seconds later, the characters start having porn-style sex.

This scene, of course, goes on forever, and features all the same stuff you’ve seen in every single other porn movie ever made except the guy is dressed like Superman. Personally, I fail to see the appeal of this, but I know that in the grand scheme of things, I must be in the extreme minority. I figure there really is no “Superman and Lois Lane” porn fetish, and this kind of movie is probably designed to appeal to a fairly “mainstream” porn audience that would have absolutely no idea what to make of the kind of videos you’ll typically see reviewed on this site (and would most likely have no way of understanding the appeal of something like this). It’s simply a regular porn movie with superhero costumes. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

Anyway, back to the movie. Seven hours later, Superman and Lois Lane are no longer having porn sex, and around that time, Supergirl (still in costume) shows up at their door and introduces herself to Superman, whom she knows to be Kal-El. The acting is really atrocious here, but I guess the acting is “supposed to be bad” in porn, so there you go. (To be fair, Dale Dabone as Superman is pretty good at delivering his lines). Supergirl, Superman and Lois sit down and discuss things. Superman explains that Earth’s yellow sun gives Kryptonians special abilities (for viewers who have never heard of anything related to “Superman”).

Supergirl decides to try to blend in to her new surroundings and applies to a nearby college. Finally she has the opportunity to wear her “Linda Lee” disguise (a black wig). At college, she meets her roommate: the one and only Barbara Gordon (Sunny Lane). Sunny Lane is pretty funny and likeable in this scene, and brings some humor to the movie. Soon, the girls meet their sorority leader, who is dressed like a dominatrix and verbally abuses the girls in the sorority. She turns out to be Natasha Luthor (Andy San Dimas), the niece of Lex Luthor. This is all fine and dandy, until Natasha decides to initiate the girls by introducing them to their “frat brothers” (a couple of guys who genuinely look like they don’t know or care where they are, what movie they’re working on, or what any of this means). They come in and start having porn sex with the girls. Zzzzz… The scene is basically a gigantic orgy involving the sorority girls and two frat boys, which, again, makes it very similar to 30,000,000 other porn movies. Especially since “Supergirl” is totally nude in this scene. (So is it supposed to matter to the viewer that she’s Supergirl? Why?)

Natasha breaks into an office and meets “Bruno.” Who’s Bruno? I don’t know. Anyway, they have sex in the office. Meanwhile, Supergirl and Barbara Gordon sit in bed together reading a book and talking about sexually charged topics. (I have absolutely no idea where this is leading.) Barbara Gordon introduces Supergirl to Facebook and then announces that she’s going to take a shower. Both girls pleasure themselves for a really long time.

Supergirl, for some reason, starts flying around the city and encounters a couple of thugs attacking an innocent girl. She interrupts them, providing the opportunity to reenact the sort-of-famous moment from Superman Returns where Brandon Routh, pretending to be Superman, is shot in the eye and the bullet bounces off. So anyway, that happens, and then the scene ends. In the next scene, which has nothing to do with any of this, a guy holds a broom and does impressions of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Christopher Walken. Anyway, the female admissions officer from earlier in the movie (India Summer) walks into the room and demands to know about Linda Lee. Then they have sex for a long time.

The bad guys eventually set a trap for Supergirl involving kryptonite, which allows Natasha Luthor to subdue Supergirl and don a tin foil hat and… receive the brain transmissions from the citizens of Metropolis… or from Supergirl, or something. Several minutes later, Supergirl escapes and then fights Natasha Luthor in a really poorly choreographed and boring scene. Barbara Gordon rescues Supergirl, the brief fight scene comes to an end, and then, Supergirl and Barbara Gordon… (can you guess?) have sex! Later, having saved the world (or just having stopped Natasha Luthor from accomplishing whatever the hell her plan was), she talks to Superman and Lois Lane around the table again. Superman promises to introduce Supergirl to his “Super Friends,” and the movie ends.

As you might have guessed, I didn’t particularly enjoy this movie. I’m not a fan of mainstream porn, so I don’t understand what the appeal is in combining regular porn with super hero costumes. I don’t imagine that the filmmakers actually have any particular reverence for any of these characters or for the story world of DC Comics, so there’s no real passion in the movie, as far as I can tell. It’s really just a pastiche of porn cliches with a few “superhero” elements randomly thrown in. (Instead of wearing business attire, a character wears a Supergirl costume, and therefore, she’s “Supergirl” when she has sex with someone.) The story doesn’t really make any sense, and to me, there’s really nothing erotic going on.

Of course, maybe there are legions of fans of this sort of thing out there that will insist that I’m missing the point. That may very well be the case, but my brain apparently just isn’t wired to appreciate this type of movie. I don’t think it’s “hot,” and I don’t understand why the events of the story unfold as they do (as opposed to some other completely random way). In short, I don’t get it.

But I would love to hear from someone who does get it, and who did enjoy Supergirl XXX. What did you like about it? Is it better or worse than other Superhero XXX parodies? Inquiring minds want to know.™

Do you know when you have a great producer on your hands? I think it’s when the wait between releases seems interminable. Well it’s feels like forever since we’ve seen a new Stormy Tempest film, and I’m pleased to announce that Cult Retro has finally released Stormy Tempest: Prisoner in the Present.

The last time we saw Stormy was in the film Stormy Tempest: Torment in Time. That episode had an injured Stormy Tempest being chased by the Gorla Monks and trapped in a drug induced peril nightmare.

After a tremendous opening credit sequence that looks like it could have been made by studio professionals, we get a little exposition from two Gorla monks who have had no success in tracking Stormy down. We are then introduced to a character by the name of Lacy Slater. The actress who plays her is a blonde bombshell and fills out what her character considers a Stormy Tempest costume quite nicely.

We finally catch up with Stormy who is still fading in and out of her peril filled consciousness. If you remember the last episode, Stormy’s outfit was slowly being stripped off of her. Thing are taken up a notch in this episode, because it all comes off and comes off quickly. Stormy is completely stripped of her outfit. Be advised that this scene is very much PG-13 and is shot tastefully—mostly from behind.

Stormy awakens, still under the protection of Edward Karbunkle at his home. She jumps in and out of her mind-controlled torment but eventually summons the willpower to escape. While the Gorla Monks continue their pursuit, we learn that Lacy Slater is crushing on Edward only to be put off time and again because of his fascination with Stormy.

That’s about it for this episode. You may notice that I didn’t write about any intense action scenes, and that’s because there weren’t any. This episode’s main thrust is story; it has interesting characters, good acting, and much more of the mental torment/peril that occurred in the last episode.

I wouldn’t let the lack of action put you off from checking this one out. The production values are first rate, and the sheer scope of this story has been fantastic to watch. There is an entertaining blooper reel and a trailer that indicates the next episode will be heavy on the action. A scene in the trailer shows that the character of Lacy will somehow be gaining superhuman powers, so that should be interesting.

I understand that great work takes time, but my only hope is that the next episode comes out much more quickly. It’s only been a few hours since I watched this film and the wait for the next episode is already killing me. Unless you go by the internet name of mauro, I highly recommend this episode.

UltraHeroix Presents “Swift Moves”

UltraHeroix has released its latest film, Swift Moves, and it is another enjoyable heroine-in-peril romp from one of the genre’s most underrated producers. This one features a Supergirl-like character up against some bad guys wielding a familiar, green substance that seems to weaken our heroine.

I’ve become an avid fan of the videos released by UltraHeroix. I don’t think there is a company out there that makes better use of the resources they have to make entertaining films. They don’t have access to London supermodels or trained stuntmen, but the videos they release are always entertaining. To use a baseball metaphor, they are the Tampa Bay Rays and they seem to find ways to compete with the proverbial New York Yankees of the heroine world quite well.

Swift Moves is a departure from the last few UltraHeroix episodes, which have focused not only on action, but on creating a large and interconnecting world filled with superheroines. I’m not certain, but with Swift Moves, I think the producers decided to throw a bone to the peril fans—they created a Supergirl archetype named Swiftgirl and basically let the villains beat on her for ten minutes.

The story opens with the introduction of two new villains. Oliver B. Liviom and his henchwoman Tessa. Think of them as the UltraHeroix version of Lex Luthor and Mercy Graves. Their plan is a simple one. Draw Swiftgirl to their lair and through the use of a machine, siphon off her powers.

Swiftgirl shows up and initially takes it to the villains. As I mentioned, the producers may not have access to supermodels but the actress they cast as Swiftgirl worked quite nicely. She is beautiful, wears the costume extremely well and plays the role of the cocky heroine perfectly. I think the costume is a good one. As always, I am about the worst judge of what outfits will have mass appeal. The skirt is shortened on each side so I can’t imagine many fans will have a problem with that.

Things start to take a turn for Swiftgirl when the villain pulls out some Kryptonite. They don’t call it Kryptonite but let’s just assume it is for the purposes of this review. Once weakened, she is subject to several stomach punches, kicks, a reverse bear hug, and just a thorough two on one beat down.

The villains strap her to the power sucking device which Swiftgirl eventually escapes, only to once again be beat on by Tessa. I should mention that the actress that plays Tessa is a real Amazon and a convincing henchwoman. You don’t see henchwomen in these films very often and I thought she played the role of an enforcer very well. In this film she tends to shout a lot of her dialogue and has a pretty nice evil laugh going on. Basically, I liked both the character and the actress.

The film ends shortly after the second beat down with a bit of a cliffhanger and a promised continuation to the story. This is a peril heavy episode that does not touch on the current storyline revolving around the disappearance of Lady Ultra. I liked the direction they were going in with said story, but I think it was a wise move to get away from it for an episode. You can’t be all story all the time, and the producers did a good job changing things up with this episode. All in all another winner from UltraHeroix.

Burning Action – Superheroine Chronicles Burnout Neo 2

Zen Pictures returns to the martial-arts-infused-spy-girls-in-office-attire genre with Burning Action – Superheroine Chronicles Burnout Neo 2, starring Ayana Tanigaki and Asami reprising their characters from the first installment. It’s a fun romp with lots of action and a brief torture scene, and some genuine suspense towards the end.

The movie begins with a really long recap of the first episode, for those who may have skipped Burning Action – Superheroine Chronicles Burnout Neo 1. Or for those who, like me, have absolutely no memory of where we left off last time. (I remember something about Neo Energy, a lot of terrific fight scenes, and that’s about it). As it turns out, Ayana Tanigaki is still in the hands of the bad guys, who have her tied to a chair and are continuing the torture scene from part 1. This isn’t such a bad way to start off this episode, is it?

Apparently, our heroine is giving the bad guys some sass, so they respond with lots of brutal punches to her stomach as she’s tied to the metal chair. The bad guys have also utilized their extensive knowledge of streaming video and are broadcasting the torture to Tanigaki’s friends back at the good guys’ headquarters. Tanigaki’s partner, Asami, receives a phone call from the bad guys and sets out to rescue her friend from the clutches of Zen Pictures’ henchmen roster. Back in the torture room, the creator of Neo Energy prepares a syringe with which he intends to inject our heroine. He seems awfully reluctant about this, as the bad guys seem to be forcing him to go along with their plans. He overcomes his reluctance and injects her with some kind of chemical that appears to cause extreme discomfort.

Asami arrives at the bad guys’ base to rescue her friend and encounters the purple-suited guy from the first video (whom, you’ll recall, is an almost unstoppable fighter). Just as she prepares to fight him, he pulls out a couple of dice and (I guess) suggests that they settle their differences not with a thrilling, well-choreographed fight sequence, but rather with a dice game. In real life, this might be an intriguing, elegant way to resolve a dispute, but it’s actually not that exciting to watch (especially since 100% of the people who buy this video are doing so ONLY to watch hot girls in perilous situations fighting bad guys). Apparently, the dice game works like this: the characters take turns rolling the dice. Depending on the roll, the character gets to punch or kick the other character. (Note: this is eerily similar to one of the worst scenes in one of the worst movies ever made—the “hand slap game” scene from Steven Seagal’s On Deadly Ground.) Anyway, the villain lands a few vicious blows that bring our heroine to her knees and even cause her to spit up some transparent gastric fluid (probably some Crystal Pepsi™ from 1993). All in all, this fight scene is very unconventional and actually becomes quite entertaining, even though it pales in comparison to Zen’s usual fight scenes.

In the meantime, the bad guys have Tanigaki chained up AOH and are punching her and torturing her with electric shocks. The creator of Neo Energy is again forced to participate in the torture of our heroine and seems awfully unhappy about this. When he refuses to continue, he receives some punches of his own (so those of you wanting to see a middle-aged man receive a beating have finally found your video!) Eventually, the heroine breaks free and beats up the bad guys in a fight scene that is pretty good but not as good as any of the fight sequences from the previous video.

While this is taking place, Asami and the villain are still playing the dice game, and apparently the tide has turned and our heroine has the upper hand. Eventually, the two characters forget about the stupid dice and just start fighting each other like normal, decent people. Asami finally defeats the bad guy with a powerful uppercut (we know it’s powerful because it happens in slow motion), and the two heroines join up and make their exit from the bad guys’ lair, with the old man in tow.

In the next scene, the heroines are running for no apparent reason and encounter a bunch of bad guys, whom they fight. No idea what this is about, but at this point, I’ll take some action however I can get it. The fighting is very well choreographed, performed and edited. These two videos contain some excellent fighting scenes, so fans of that sort of thing should be satisfied with the content here. There’s even some inventive camerawork that adds energy and intensity to the video. (For those who are into such things, I really love the shot at about the 35:37 mark. I commend you, director Kanzo Matsuura.)

After defeating the bad guys, the girls meet the villain in the purple suit for the final showdown. At this point, the scariest thing about the villain is the ever-present threat of more dice games, but fortunately, he injects himself in the neck with a serum or some sort, which apparently gives him super strength. Since he was already a formidable opponent, this promises to be a tough fight for our heroines. But we wouldn’t want it any other way, would we? And wow! What a great fight scene this is, with impressive stunt work, a super-throatlift (accomplished, I imagine, with some wire work), and a total ass-kicking in which Asami receives a severe beatdown. I won’t spoil the end of the fight, but I actually found myself genuinely involved in the outcome, which is a rarity in this genre.

When it comes to spending your hard-earned dollars on a Zen Pictures movie, I would imagine that you’re probably not looking for emotional involvement or really well executed fight scenes that don’t necessarily have anything to do with setting up peril to occur later. That’s pretty much the case with the Burning Action – Superheroine Chronicles Burnout Neo films. This episode contains a little more torture than the previous episode, but part 1 features better action scenes. Either way, this series represents a slightly more mainstream approach to action, and in that way, I think it’s a pretty great accomplishment for the filmmakers. It’s a nice change of pace from the usual stuff, but personally, I hope Zen Pictures sticks to the tried-and-true fetishy action-oriented content we all know and love.

FightGirlz2000 Presents “Mortality”

Coming off of what was flat out one of its best films, Championship Series Fight 3, FightGirlz2000 is back—this time with a mixed battle for your viewing pleasure featuring the beautiful Rochelle Cassidy facing a menacing male intruder.

If you haven’t checked out the FightGirlz web site in a while, now may be a good time for two reasons. One, they released some of their best films over the last couple of months. And two, they have recently gone on a casting spree and added several immensely beautiful and talented performers. Maybe the most well rounded and dynamic of those performers is Rochelle Cassidy who just happens to be the star of their most recent release, Mortality.

For those of you who are not familiar with Rochelle she is an exquisitely built, dark haired beauty and possesses some serious martial arts pedigree. All of her previous appearances have featured her fighting other women and Mortality is her first mixed fight. She also wears a bikini top in this episode that quite honestly doesn’t leave all that much to the imagination. So the film has that going for it. Here is a little more info from the site itself.

In this powerful story, a young mother’s desperate fight for survival is the central theme as Rochelle unwillingly goes up against an intruder who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Although she struggles fiercely and is determined to survive, her opponent is much bigger, stronger and faster than she is. Will this finally be Rochelle’s demise?

On top of being a mixed fight this film has moments that may appeal to a broad spectrum of tastes. When the action takes off the fight is very much a back and forth affair. Halfway through it turns into a one sided beat down with Rochelle getting the holy hell kicked out of her. It concludes with Rochelle going on the offensive and taking the intruder down. It’s a mix that I think worked nicely as far as this film is concerned. Most of their previous mixed fights have been one totally sided in favor of the girls. It was nice to see one of their actresses get challenged instead of walking all over her opponent with ease.

As you can see this isn’t a story about a superheroine or a spy girl and there are almost no fetishy elements to this film. There are some stomach punches, a strangulation and a bearhug that only lasts for a couple of seconds. FightGirlz also recently started an experiment with make-up work that simulates bruising and they use it to good effect here. This is a topic that has come up in a few different threads and from what John the producer has told me, the feedback from their core audience on the bruising has been positive. I’m a little indifferent to bruising in these films, but I’d love to hear some feedback on this from HM’s readers. This is a topic that keeps coming up, and I’m sure producers out there would like to hear the fan communities thoughts on the matter.

I think this is by far their best choreographed mixed fight and is on par with Championship Series Fight 3, which I thought was the best choreography they have ever executed. My favorite episodes from FightGirlz are generally the ones where they tell bigger stories that take place in the spy girl genre but this is undoubtedly one of their strongest efforts. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Is there anyone on a bigger roll than Next Global Crisis? The company just pumps out quality episode after quality episode and almost never seems to make a misstep. Well, Next Global Crisis is back with its follow up to the amazing season premier. Will NGC’s hot streak continue? Let’s find out.

Before we begin the review in earnest, let’s go to the site itself for the synopsis of this episode:

It looks like the end for Bluebird. After a valiant fight she is now at the mercy of one of Red Mists assassin squads. Subber, the leader of this sadistic cell that he is gloating at the Blue Beauty and her dire humiliation and peril when there is a BANG at the door… Perhaps the plan wasn’t foolproof after all as a new female combatant takes to the stage. Who is she? and more importantly, what is she here for? To steal the bounty? Or to rescue Bluebird? Neither option appeals to Subber and a fierce battle ensues.. will it offer Bluebird a chance of survival?

As always with Next Global Crisis I want to refrain from spoiling any of the major story points. Storytelling is something they do better than anyone else so I can’t think of a bigger disservice to fans of NGC and the genre in general by ruining the experience of watching a NGC episode for the first time. Instead, I’ll focus on a handful of things that just worked wonderfully in this film.

1. Bluebird/Claire Yellowless – I consider her the Meryl Streep of heroine movies. Well, a super good looking version of Meryl Streep. (No offense, Meryl.) I don’t think it is any surprise that the producers decided to revolve their first two episodes around her. She is just endlessly talented and eminently watchable. Bluebird is a character, and Claire is an actress, that I just never get tired of seeing. I don’t think any recurring character of any producer we cover is more ripe for a spin-off than Bluebird. The solo adventures of Bluebird is a site that I would absolutely get behind.

2. Catherine/Rachel Warren – It appears that the producers went out to their beautiful woman tree and picked themselves a Rachel Warren. She is the actress that plays the new character, Catherine. I don’t know why I bother telling you that NGC cast another beautiful actress. From now on we are just going to take that as a given. If they ever cast an unattractive female, I’ll be sure to let you know. I’m thinking the odds are against that ever happening. Anyway, she can act, and she can fight. Another seemingly great addition to an already stellar cast.

3. The villains – It’s the same group from the first episode, but I don’t think of that as a negative. They do a great job in this episode.

4. The story – There is a good amount of exposition in this episode, and once again my intention is to not spoil anything major. We are reminded that James Roman is still plenty pissed at Elite Force and has a bounty on the heads of all their former members. We learn that there may be others out there looking to get a piece of Elite Forces former members. We also learn that Red Mist may not exactly be the tight knit organization they claim to be. Finally, we learn of a plan that is being formulated to bring the Roman brothers down.

5. The fighting/peril – There has been some early discussion about this on the board, and I’ll get into that in a minute. This is not so much a “peril-heavy” episode. I think that the emphasis is more on fighting and storytelling. There are some things here for the fetish/peril crowd however. Bluebird spends the majority of the episode tied to a chair. Catherine takes several punches to the stomach, gets de-masked, and is strangled a few different times. And as usual the fight choreography is first rate.

One of the reasons I love Heroinemovies.com is because of the people who post most frequently in the comments. Everyone has their own opinions and they are almost always well thought out and respectful to others that think differently. That is rare on the internet these days. Anyway, a great deal of the early discussion of this episode centered around how heroines should be portrayed in these films. Personally, I like to know a heroine can handle herself. I like to know that she can win a fight. I like to see them win fights on a somewhat frequent basis. I just think it makes things all that more interesting when she is eventually challenged by a tougher opponent. Season 2, Episode 1 was a great example. Bluebird looked extremely dominate early on. The bad guys took a pill that vastly increased their strength and the tide turned and you had your peril. It was an episode that felt like it was made for someone with my exact tastes. I loved it.

I consider this the Zen Pictures formula to a good heroine in peril movie. I’m not saying Zen Pictures invented it, but they have come rather close to perfecting it, and so has NGC. Bottom line, although not as peril-packed as the first episode, this was another great effort and I couldn’t be more excited for Episode 3. Great job, NGC.

Burning Action – Superheroine Chronicles Burnout Neo 1

Burning Action – Superheroine Chronicles Burnout Neo Vol.1 from Zen Pictures contains the best fight choreography and editing I’ve ever seen in the heroine peril genre. While the costumes and performances are a little disappointing, the amazing action sequences make this a worthwhile purchase, in my opinion.

We begin in an airport, and already I’m impressed by the use of what appears to be an actual airport terminal as a shooting location. (In actuality, this set appears to be the large warehouse area from Zen’s Smart 109, but the producers have done a nice job on selling this space as a real airport.) Our two lovely heroines, played by Ayani Tanigaki and Asami, wander around the airport and discuss something over their cell phones. There’s a very Heat vibe to this scene, as if the heroines are either planning to execute a thrilling heist or perhaps intend to put a stop to the bad guys’ plans (I’m referring, of course, to the Michael Mann Heat, and not the Burt Reynolds Heat).

At about the five-minute mark, one of the heroines walks over to one of the bad guys (we know he’s “bad” because he looks really mean and there’s really no other reason for him to spend any time on screen) and pretends to ask for a lighter for her cigarette. He obliges (though very rudely—exactly the way a bad guy would do it). She smokes. And it occurs to me as I watch this that this may in fact be the most boring Zen movie I’ve ever seen, and maybe one of the most boring movies from any producer I’ve ever seen. Until seconds later, when the henchman in question whips out his handgun, initiating the film’s first fight/shootout scene. Thank God.

As it turns out, this is a superb action sequence, with lots and lots of shooting and gun-play, and of course some hand-to-hand martial arts fighting action, in which the ladies take on multiple attackers. There’s a truly impressive shot in which one of the bad guys is hit and rolls down the handrail part of an escalator, only to get back up, run back towards the heroine at the top of the escalator and get hit again—this all happens while our heroine simultaneously fights two attackers at the top of the escalator in the same shot. What a great piece of stunt work and choreography. (And if you don’t care about any of that, there’s lots of up-skirt action here as well.) There’s another nice shot—a tracking shot which follows Tanigaki as she pushes her way frantically through a crowd while trying to exit the front of the airport. Even without the gun-play, and some fairly impressive gun and blood-splatter effects, I’d have to say that this is one of the most exciting and well-executed fight sequences I’ve ever seen from Zen Pictures.

Meanwhile, back at the bad guys’ evil base, two guards watch over a middle aged male prisoner. Suddenly, a man who appears to be quite adept at martial arts steps in, defeats the guards easily, and apprehends the prisoner. Later, in a scene that may or may not have anything to do with this, a guy in a purple suit beats up a bunch of his own henchmen. (This is pretty much how I imagine villains spending most of their spare time.) He receives a phone call informing him of… something. Who knows? Later, our heroines sit in an office and allow us to see how different their personalities are. They’re the classic Riggs and Murtaugh—one logical, calm and reasonable; the other wild and crazy. I suspect these two will be forced to work together despite their opposing character traits, only to realize a deep, fundamental mutual respect as a result of their adventures. But mostly, I just hope there’s some more gratuitous crotch shots.

Our two heroines venture out and encounter an old man walking his dog. They have a nice conversation with him and pick him up. I’m guessing this is the classic Lethal Weapon 2 plot, in which our two reluctant hero partners are forced to put aside their differences to protect an eccentric third character (like Joe Pesci) who holds the key to the mystery. And in fact, the Zen Pictures web site reveals that this character is the developer of Neo Energy, which I’m sure the bad guys want to get their grubby little hands on. In my opinion, the video at this point could use some Neo Energy; after a truly thrilling action sequence, it’s been nothing but plot exposition for almost 20 minutes at this point. (This would be a perfect opportunity for a Zen Pictures car chase, but alas, it wasn’t meant to be, apparently. Maybe someday…)

As the ladies attempt to escort the creator of Neo Energy to the airport, they are ambushed by a group of Zen Pictures thugs. And this was totally worth the wait. Asami mows down a small army of henchmen with a machine gun while Tanigaki fights hand-to-hand and leads the eccentric old man around in an attempt to protect him. Again, the choreography and camerawork is simply the best that I’ve seen in this genre. Eventually, Tanigaki, without her gun, runs into a group of five thugs. She pushes the creator of Neo Energy aside and fights them. She holds her own and defeats the thugs, but that’s when the purple-suited villain (who appears to have the same tailor as The Joker) shows up and challenges her to a fight. These two actors obviously have some martial arts experience, and this is another really great fight scene. I actually found myself on the edge of my seat anticipating the outcome of the fight. Sadly (and fortunately), our heroine loses and gets hauled off to the bad guys’ lair.

Meanwhile, Asami, our other heroine, fights a group of thugs somewhere else in the warehouse. This is yet one more great fight sequence. Just as in the previous fight scene, a villain shows up (the guy who freed the prisoner earlier) and challenges Asami to a one-on-one battle. Just as Asami has the bad guy to her advantage, the thugs step in, throw her to the ground, and beat and stomp the crap out of her. Eventually, they hear sirens approaching, so they decide to get the hell out of there.

Back at the evil lair, Ayana Tanigaki has been tied up AOH and is being tortured with punches by the bad guys. This is a pretty short torture scene followed by another torture scene in which Tanigaki is tied to a chair and punched and slapped some more. This is how the movie ends, leaving us breathless with anticipation over whether or not our beloved heroine will survive the torture, whether or not there will be a sequel (there is), and most of all, whether or not the old man will reveal the secrets behind his Neo Energy (whatever that is). Whatever the case, I suggest you spend some of your Neo Energy to purchase this film from Zen Pictures. That is, if you want to see some really outstanding fight sequences with amazing fight choreography, editing and camerawork.

On the other hand, the costumes really aren’t that sexy, Ayana Tanigaki isn’t quite the hottest heroine ever to grace the small screen (I suspect she was chosen for her martial arts ability and not for her acting or looks… although don’t get me wrong, she’s a very attractive girl), and fans of heroine torture will most likely be disappointed with the very short torture sequences here. Aside from that, I admire the action scenes so much that I’m willing to overlook its flaws and highly recommend this film from Zen Pictures.

Trailer for Marvel’s “The Avengers”

Here’s a bit of mainstream news that may be of interest to superheroine fans (or just comic book film fans). As you may have heard, Marvel has been building to an Avengers movie that is coming out early this summer. An extended trailer has been released, featuring lots of action, and it is embedded below.

I have been an avid fan of the film’s director Joss Whedon for some time now. If you’re not familiar with the name, he is the creator of such shows as “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Angel,” and “Firefly.” The Avengers features a male-dominated cast, but there is one superheroine featured prominently, and that is (of course) Black Widow played by Scarlett Johansson.

The first trailer released a few months back left me a little cold. There were some fun moments to be sure, but I was still a little wary. Then on Sunday, a short Super Bowl spot was released, followed by an extended version online, and it blew me away. I was particularly thrilled with a scene near the end where the six Avengers stand in a circle and wait for something to happen. Just a marvelous tracking shot in my opinion, and it got my geek juices flowing.

Angel Avengers 03: Femme Fatales

Cult Retro is back with the third installment of its part-spygirl, part-supernatural adventure series, Angel Avengers. Episode 03 returns the entire original cast of lovely ladies, and this time they are on a collision course with the series’ main bad guy (so far), Big Joel Nekoda.

The film opens up with Angel Nikki dispatching a guard while Angel Brink and Angel Ash confront Big Joel. Big Joel delivers an over-the-top yet entertaining monologue, and the girls proceed to beat the hell out of him. Back outside, Agent Nikki is still taking it to Joel’s henchman. This battle involves a mix of standard fight camerawork mixed in with a little POV fighting. Meanwhile, Joel himself is back on his feet and the girls continue to beat on him some more but never can seem to keep him down permanently.

The beating continues for another minute or two until Big Joel is able to momentarily turn the tide. He grabs each Angel by the throat and drops them to their knees. However, one of the girls uses a mysterious super power in an attempt to resolve the situation.

Thinking they have won, the Angels walk away, but it turns out Joel is very much alive. Using the occult artifacts in his possession, he intends to somehow siphon energy from the Angels. However, Joel doesn’t realize that the Angels are standing right behind him. This results in a final showdown involving a stake to the head and an explosion, but I won’t give away the details…

I am personally enjoying this series, and I think Angel Avengers 03 is the best episode so far. I like how the producers have taken the spy girl genre and added a touch of the supernatural. Now keep in mind that the producers have always billed these as “girl power” films, and for the most part, that’s what you get. Besides the short strangulation scene, there really isn’t a lot of peril as in the Stormy Tempest films.

Speaking of Stormy Tempest, the producers have a blog that always has interesting information on upcoming projects. Looks like the next Stormy Tempest film will be released sometime in February and more Angel Avengers with new characters will be coming our way as well.

KickAssKandy and Next Global Crisis to Team Up?

Here’s an interesting piece of news: Kandyman, the producer over at KickAssKandy, is joining forces with Next Global Crisis on a story-arc that is expected to span several episodes involving characters from KickAssKandy and BadAssKandy. See below for more information.

Now, there’s a good chance you may be familiar with both, but if not, here is some info, Q&A style.

Q. What do you know at this point?

A. Not much. I do know that starting this month the two producers are going to write scripts for eight episodes that will tell the ongoing story of the war between Kickasskandy and Badasskandy. Remember, this is just the writing of the scripts. The actual release of these movies is probably several months off.

Q. What is Kickasskandy?

A. Kickasskandy is a girl power/spy girl website featuring stunningly beautiful models fighting a seemingly endless army of goons and always prevailing. The production values are first rate and the films are all just a blast to watch. In the last year they opened a second website called Badasskandy. It features much of the same content as it’s sister site, but the girls are “bad.” Although the primary focus of both sites has always been girl power, they have recently experimented with F/F fighting and in my opinion, peril.

Q. Are there any episodes you would recommend?

A. All of them. Seriously, I don’t think they have ever produced a bad one. But, if I had to pick one it would be Sex, Lies and Kick Ass Tape. This was the first ever crossover between the two companies. It was their first real attempt at F/F fighting and the good girls seemed to be in real danger of losing the fight, hence, in my opinion, peril. For me, this may have been the single best film of last year in the “girl power” genre.

Q. What is Next Global Crisis?

A. Next Global Crisis is a superheroine site that offers incredibly high production values, and in my opinion they consistently tell the best stories the genre has ever seen. They have beautiful models, incredible costumes and they are the one website that I think challenges Zen Pictures for title of best producer in the superheroine genre. They are that good.

Q. Are there any episodes you would recommend?

A. All of them. Much like KAK, I don’t think they have produced a bad episode. The season finale, Episode 9, was probably NGC’s crowning achievement. If I had to pick one episode, that would be it. (Or maybe the new Season 2, Episode 1.) For me, it’s between this and Sex, Lies and Kickass Tape for best video of 2011.

Q. Does anything else connect these two producers now that they are collaborating?

A. They are both British, I believe they are both headquartered in London, but the thing they have in common that I most like is one Claire Yellowlees. She is an actress that is known as Bluebird over at NGC and Silver over at BAK. I don’t know if any other girl on either site mixes beauty, charisma and stage fighting ability better than Ms. Yellowless. She is a real talent.

Q. Should these two producers initiate a full time hot chick exchange program?

A. Yes! A thousand times yes! How has this not happened already? Is there anyone out there who wouldn’t want to see someone like Suki Deluxe or Angel as a Kandygirl? How about Vixen or Hi-Kix as a superheroine? Kandyman, NGC, this needs to be a topic of conversation in your writing sessions. I demand that this happen and I bet I get a lot of support for the official KAK/NGC Hot Chick Exchange Program. I am of course kidding. But not really.

Championship Series, Fight 3 from FightGirlz2000

Sometimes it’s just fun to watch two girls knock the hell out of each other for a while. That’s what you get with the latest FightGirlz 2000 release, Championship Series, Fight 3. No, this isn’t a superheroine or a spy girl film, but it is an enjoyable back and forth battle featuring fan favorite Cholo against one of the site’s newest cast members, Zoe Hammar.

The Championship Series is an ongoing saga of one on one fights between their ever growing cast of characters. There really isn’t a story line per se—just think of this as a simple fight tournament. This is their third in the series and easily the most polished and enjoyable to watch.

It opens with a really well-edited HBO Boxing type introduction. As mentioned earlier, it features Cholo decked out in short shorts and a blue sports bra top. A recent emphasis of FightGirlz has been to dress the girls in sexier attire, and I don’t think Cholo has ever looked more beautiful than in this film, Her opponent is Zoe, who is a tall, attractive and a powerfully built blonde who has filled a role that I think they needed filled, that of an Amazon type enforcer.

These fights are three rounds in length and for most of the first round, Cholo has control. However, near the end of the first round, Zoe drops Cholo with a vicious combination and the tide of the fight turns. Cholo still has some moments but Zoe really takes it to her for the rest of the match.

Although the fight is punch heavy, there is some variety with kicks, choke holds and knee strikes. I should note that for those of you who are big into throat lifts, there are two well-executed ones in this episode. The first is especially cool as Zoe easily lifts and pins Cholo against the wall and lands several punches with her free hand.

Another thing FightGirlz has been experimenting with in their recent films is battle damage. Nothing major, just a bit of makeup to show some bruising on the face. This usually appears well into the fight and adds a touch of realism that I kind of like.

And that’s it. For those of you who like back and forth F/F fights, you get that for a while in this film. For those of you who like beatdowns you also get that in this film. It’s also a relatively inexpensive at $12.99 for a film that runs over eighteen minutes.

Rise of the Viper from Steel Cinema

Steel Cinema’s latest video, Rise of the Viper, is here and stars two lovely secret agents, Natasha and Scarlett, on an extremely dangerous mission that doesn’t go too well, all things considered. Check out the screen caps, story description and trailer below!

SYNOPSIS

This is a custom movie that follows Geneis and Best of Both Worlds.

Agents Natasha and Scarlett are sent on project 47 to finish their intel on a newly discovered Alien (Ro’gash). What they find is the aftermath of his battle with both superior girls and they aren’t alone… The Viper Syndicate has sent Bug’eyes and Crenshaw to intercept any information on project 47 at any cost.

A fight breaks out and the girls learn how Bug’eyes got his reputation as the best hand to hand combat specialist in the world… Scarlett and Natasha are eventually knocked out and tied up while Bug’eyes examines the situation. He wakes Scarlett first and begins to beat the hell out of the young blonde who stays defiant during her torture. She slowly starts to circum to his his mind games as she can’t figure out why he is beating her. She keeps yelling at him and asking what he wants but Bug’eyes stays silent.

Bug’eyes then swtiches targets and examines Natasha’s prone body moving his hands all over the place. This disturbs Scarlett so she lies to get him to stop touching her friend and it works. Cross the Line from The Battle for Earth

So, The Battle For Earth has released another episode. What? Season 2 already? Not exactly. Cross the Line is a new short video that is independent from the company’s main storyline and features fan favorite Hollie in a dual role (and multiple costumes). Check out the review below.

I’m guessing the producers wanted to keep providing their audience content in the down-time between seasons. However, this content does not play a role in the normal TBFE story canon. Just think of this as a short film with an emphasis on fighting and some of the normal fetishy/peril elements you usually get in TBFE films. I’ll let the synopsis over at the official site explain in detail:

Since we’re between seasons, the TBFE crew has a chance to again release “Short Stories”. This release features Hollie playing twins. While she normally plays Tempest in the series, she and a host of regulars are all cast in different roles. It’s a chance for TBFE to branch out beyond the confines of the series! With an eye on next season, we’re already starting to make changes. We’re already breaking in the new gear, new editing equipment, and playing around with stylistic changes in filming. Hollie was awesome to work with as usual, and we’re pretty excited as we prep for next season! Check out the trailer, the review, and enjoy!

Alexa is a pretty young girl living a normal life in the suburbs. Her twin sister Natasha is the polar opposite. While Alexa works a normal job and has just started dating Blake, her sister has just gone rogue from a black ops government agency. Genetically enhanced with super strength, she is extremely dangerous and very much a loose canon. With vengeance driving her, she is tracking the man who murdered Jack, her husband. Knowing this, this black assassin is in turn tracking Natasha. In a last ditch effort to force the assassin out of the shadows, Natasha plants her twin sister as bait. The assassin is now inadvertently tracking the wrong twin, while Natasha waits on the sidelines ready to strike. Alexa knows she’s being stalked. Just how tough is she when the assassin catches up to her. Does Natasha reach her twin sister in time? Is anyone brave enough, or even strong enough to stand up to Natasha before she goes too far? More importantly, can Natasha stop before she loses control of her own powers? Revenge can be consuming. Find out in “Cross The Line”.

There are a lot of good things in this film, but the best thing has to be Hollie, a.k.a. Tempest, in a dual role. I think the producers put her real-life superpower of being incredibly hot to good use here. They dressed her in various outfits throughout the film, and she looked great in each. Among others, she wears Daisy Dukes, a bikini top and a shiny red jumpsuit.

The video takes a few minutes to get rolling, but once it does you are treated to three well choreographed fights. Alexa fights a losing battle against a guy in a mask that had me thinking about the Gimp from Pulp Fiction. Natasha eventually takes out the masked man then fights Blake, who most of you will probably recognize as Kade, the evil playboy genius from The Battle for Earth’s canonical storyline.

Hollie/Alexa/Natasha is on the receiving end for most of the first and third fights, which feature some effective use of slow motion. She is pinned against a wall, punched in the stomach several times, reverse bearhugged, given a backbreaker and is finally choked out.

I thought this was a fun little action short. As far as negatives, we really don’t learn much about any of the characters in the film itself. Most of that is explained in the synopsis. With this being a short film, I guess I really can’t complain. I imagine most fans are more interested in the fighting and peril anyway. Also, I’ve gone on record in saying that my instincts are horrible for deciding if a costume will have mass appeal. As I mentioned, Hollie looked great in everything, I just think the red jumpsuit could have fit her better. It hung a little loose, and when a girl has a body like Hollie, it’s probably best that her clothing be snug as possible. Feel free to correct me if I am seeing this wrong.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, so I guess we will be seeing more. I like that TBFE is dipping their toe into the “spy girl” game. Personally, it’s a genre I enjoy even more than the superheroine one and for a first attempt I think they did rather well.

Next Global Crisis – Season 2, Episode 1

Next Global Crisis has returned with a new season, new episode, and newly revamped web site. I won’t spoil anything in regards to this particular episode, but if you haven’t seen Episode 9 from Season 1, you might want to check that out before reading this review.

Season 2, Episode 1 from Next Global Crisis is just about the best thing ever. I’ve really have never seen a better job of superheroine filmmaking. I haven’t seen every film in this genre, but I have seen all the most talked about ones, and I think this is superior to the rest of them.

Being a premiere episode the producers laid things out for viewers who may have forgotten where everyone stands in the Next Global Crisis universe. It has been nine months since the end of Season 1 (and Miss Freedom’s presumed demise); the blast that destroyed her also deeply wounded John Roman, who now lays comatose in a hospital bed clinging to life. His brother James is out for revenge and has assembled a squad of assassins to defeat and eliminate all previous Elite Force operatives and trainees. Some have gone into hiding, but not Bluebird. She has chosen to use her training to do good and fight crime, even though she is hunted. In this episode the hunt finally catches up to her. Will she manage to escape from the clutches of evil? Or will it be “Bye Bye Birdy”?

The episode begins with a flashback montage to key moments in the first season that occurred in both the regular episodes and the training room scenarios. There is also a fancy new opening credit sequence. And that’s where I need to stop. To spoil one second of this film’s plot would be a huge disservice. I think everyone deserves to experience this film spoiler free.

So, what can I tell you? Just know that everything is better, and I do mean everything. The locations are better, the writing is better, the acting is better, the fight choreography is better, the production values as a whole are just better. Oh, and least I forget, the peril is better.

Actually, the peril sequences are way better in this film than any other that Next Global Crisis has ever produced. Bluebird gets tasered, punched in the stomach, drugged, lifted by her throat, strangled, and is subjected to a thorough beating throughout the film.

Of course, peril doesn’t come across well if you don’t cast the right actress. Luckily, Next Global Crisis employs the best (in my opinion) actress working in the genre right now—Claire Yellowless. If there was an Academy Award for best actress in a superheroine film, Claire would win and win huge. She’s just perfect. In this film she plays the confident heroine and the heroine in peril with equal aplomb. She plays frightened, heroic, defiant, bewildered, intimidated and everything else that’s asked of her perfectly. It also helps that she is a 10, and I don’t think she has ever looked better than she does in this film.

I can’t think of a negative other than I wish it was an hour long. The bottom line is if you are a fan of Next Global Crisis, you should probably buy this episode. If you have never seen a Next Global Crisis episode before, you should probably buy this episode. There is something for everyone. Great story, great peril, great performances, and a dynamite ending cliffhanger.

After disposing of earth primes Superior Girl he is tracked by another Superior from his home dimension. What was only seconds for SG turns out to be years for Ro’gash allowing him to mind control both Superia and Calista to work for him.

This incarnation of Superior Girl is barely 18 years old and Ro’gash makes sure to point this out as it excites Calista since superheroines can be weakened by sexual humilation in this realm. Superior Girl is unaware of this weakness…

Superia, unimpresed by the smaller version of her sister, quickly learns she is a force to be reckoned with. Superior Girl proves to be physically more than Superia can handle so of course Calista is ordered to assist. With a nice spanking to her ass Superior Girl is distracted enough for Superia to pumel her while Calista locks up her arms.

Ro’gash uses his powers to probe her mind in an attempt to convice Superior Girl that she isn’t strong enough to break free from Calista’s grasp. This works long enough for the young heroine to take a serious beating from Superia but one dodged blow knocks Calista back and frees Superior Girl from Ro’gash’s mind control.

Calista is tossed into Superia who is ordered to transform and attack with full strength but she is still bested by Superior Girl who dominates the fight. Ro’gash grows tired of watching Superia fail and sends a green meteor charged blast into Superior Girl knocking both heroines back into a wall. Superior recovers rather fast and Ro’gash signals Calista who radiates green meteor particles from her hand while Ro’gash blasts her again.

Superia jumps on this opportunity and devistates Superior girl with a barrage of shots to her face and stomach. Ro’gash again uses his powers to probe SG and intensifies SG’s weakness to sexual humiliation. Calista rejoins the fight and beings to fondle the young heroine lifting her dress and exposing her silk panty covered crotch. Ro’gash can barely contain himself and his hands find their way all over her body.

Ro’gash senses that the leader of the Amazons has sent her daughter to interfere so he orders Superia to stop her leaving Superior Girl alone with Ro’gash and Calista. Ro’gash knows that if she transforms into a full powered Superior Girl she will be trapped in this realm which is exactly what he wants. Ro’gash goes on the offensive and levels SG with all sorts of attacks that force her to transform!

Superior Girl now in her uniform nails Ro’gash and tosses him which reminds her of their first encounter that drove him into hiding. Unfortunately he was playing possum and reveals that he is simply to powerful for her in this dimension and he punishes SG while copping several feels all over her body.

Ro’gash holds Superior Girl while he commands Calista to use her magic to force SG to orgasm. Though Superior Girl is pure and still a virgin she knows that if forced into uncontrollable sexual bliss she will lose her mind to Ro’gash forever. Calista sends energy into her breasts and crotch but Superior is able to resist the pleasure moving through her body. Ro’gash feels she is still to strong and teleports her into a green meteor laced wall of bondage that not only saps away her strength but breaks down her costume.

Calista gives it another try and trys to rub Superior Girl into orgasm. She comes close but Superior is still able to resist her masterful touch. Fatal Bad Ass from BadAssKandy

BadAssKandy has released Fatal Bad Ass, its latest production, which features three sexy catsuit-wearing heroines, one of whom should be quite familiar to fans of Next Global Crisis. Check out the review, stills and trailer below.

First, let’s post the official synopsis from the site: CATSUIT SPECIAL! Notorious crook Suarez tries to double cross Captain Bad Ass but luckily he has his crack elite army of sexy martial artist bad girls waiting to take control. One by one Red, Silver and Gold in their skin tight catsuits and thigh boots take out Suarez’s men with their knock out karate chops, deadly high kicks and brutal boxing skills to show the world that nobody messes with the Bad Ass Girls!

Although this film doesn’t break any new ground in the Kandyworld like Sex, Lies and Kick Ass Tape, it is still a tremendously fun watch. The ladies look terrific, the fight choreography is tight, and I have to give a ton of credit to the stuntmen/actors who never get enough props for the job they do in these films. They bring a lot to table here from a sheer comedy perspective. I have mentioned before that attempts by producers at comedy in heroine films rarely work well. Kandyman seems to be the exception to this rule. This is a very funny film.

The bulk of the action is the company’s standard fare. Punches, kicks, knee lifts, shots to the groin, and in general just a major beat down of the men. The cast includes one of my personal favorites, Silver. I think Silver has climbed into my top three list of best actresses in the genre. Basically, if she is in a film, I’ll be sure to watch it. She really is the whole package. The film also stars the beautiful Red, who really needs to don a Wonder Woman costume at some point. It also features the stunning Gold, who really needs to don a Wonder Woman costume at some point. I know that the guy has zero extra time on his hands, but Kandyman needs to open a superheroine site. I can’t imagine anyone would have a problem with that.

Now remember, this is a vintage Kandy film. Beautiful girls, thigh high boots, hot outfits, (in this case skin tight catsuits) and absolutely no danger to the girls. But for me “vintage” is a good thing. Fatal Bad Ass is a fun film.

Zen Pictures’ “Killing Angels”

When I see a movie like Zen Pictures’ Killing Angels, I have to wonder why I waste so much time watching generic Hollywood movies and TV shows, which never feature two hot Asian heroines in skin-tight leather costumes who fight bad guys and then get captured, beaten, whipped and electrocuted before winning in the end.

We begin with an opening credits sequence in which our heroines, in their custom-made, perfect-fitting, skin-tight spy-girl costumes, pose sexily for our amusement. There’s no real reason (according to the story) for this to happen; it’s just yet another nice thing the producers have decided to do for us. (By the way, the theme music here sounds like it was composed by R2-D2).

The “real” story begins with our heroines, in non-heroine business attire, standing at the desk of their male boss. I’m guessing that they’re receiving their assignment. They both receive their orders and then proceed to change into their carefully crafted spy-girl costume very slowly. There’s no nudity (what do you think is, porn?), but this sequence has the feel of some kind of fetishy Cinemax striptease movie. It’s okay though, because the action later on in the video is choreographed and performed well enough to justify a little PG-13 striptease action here in the early portion of the video.

Our two heroines break into the bad guys’ evil warehouse and discuss their plan. They encounter a bad guy and engage in a gun battle. Working as a team seems like a good approach—with one girl providing cover fire for the other girl who sneaks up behind the bad guy—but it almost results in Aya Takemoto getting her brains blown out by the guy after her sneak attempt fails. Luckily, it is the bad guy’s brain matter who makes a hasty exit after Hitomi Furusaki shoots him in the head from several meters away. (If only he would have surrendered peacefully, this needless bloodshed could have been prevented…) This results in a long discussion between the two girls, perhaps about the morality of shooting a guy in the head, or maybe about the pros and cons of wearing skin-tight leather to work everyday. Who knows?

Meanwhile, the three remaining evildoers (a sexy evil woman and her two male henchmen) stand in the middle of a dark warehouse and have a discussion, probably about how to trap the spy girls. Our heroines, in the meantime, are still having their discussion, but it finally ends on a somewhat bitter note, with the girls splitting up, apparently too disgusted to deal with each other after the previous shot-to-the-head incident.

Aya Takemoto walks around the warehouse alone, thinking about stuff, when suddenly she’s approached by the female villainess. Apparently, the two have a shared history, as we learn in a lengthy flashback which features a very nice fight sequence between the two characters. I’m guessing that the villainess was once part of the team but then betrayed our heroines, leading to the fight sequence we see in the flashback (which, incidentally, features a lot of up-skirt action). Eventually, Takemoto delivers a lucky uppercut, which ends the fight… and her opponent’s life. At least, it appears that way. We exit the flashback to find Takemoto in a state of disbelief as she discovers her now-living former opponent.

There’s not much time to consider any of this, however, as the girls are soon fighting again, in a sequence with some very good editing. The villainess is clearly the more powerful of the two, so Takemoto pulls out her gun, but before she can get a shot off, one of the male henchmen points a gun at her head, putting an end to her assassination attempt, and this scene.

Back at the office, our other heroine, Hitomi Furusaki, sits at a desk late at night and types on a computer. I guess back at the warehouse, she figured, “Well, it’s true that I’m in the middle of an incredibly dangerous mission, and my partner just walked away, after a heated argument, into an incredibly perilous situation in which multiple enemies could be waiting to ambush her, and yes, minutes earlier, I saved her life at the last possible second because her reflexes were too slow to react to a nearly fatal situation, but… I’m sure she can handle herself. I’m gonna head back to the office to finish that Excel spreadsheet I’ve been working on.” Her work is soon interrupted by an email, apparently from the bad guys, informing her that (perhaps unsurprisingly) they captured her friend a couple of minutes after she left. (I have to point out that our heroine uses the service “Z-Mail.” Apparently, Zen produces heroine peril videos and provides innovative web-based email software.)

Meanwhile, Takemoto wakes up find herself chained up (with arms extended to either side). This is a really long torture sequence with a little something to please most fans of interrogation-style peril. The villainess arrives and delivers multiple stomach punches and pulls Takemoto’s hair. She then injects the heroine with some kind of serum (I’m guessing this is your basic evil serum that heightens the recipient’s sensitivity to pain). The villainess then grabs the heroine’s stomach really hard, which I guess might be painful, although it really just seems kind of annoying. Before the torture continues (and it does)…

…We return to the film’s other heroine, Furusaki, who practices firing her gun at a shooting range (as if she didn’t already prove her worth as a markswoman earlier in the film). As she fires, she receives a flashback of her own (the producers were very generous when it came to doling out flashbacks with these characters). Anyway, the flashback apparently takes place several years earlier when Furusaki was but a wee schoolgirl (complete with the classic schoolgirl uniform). Unfortunately, one day she was tied to a chair and blindfolded as a bad guy (one of the henchmen from earlier) brutally stabbed her father. This must have eventually led to her life as an assassin/spy-girl.

Back at the torture chamber, the bad guys apparently haven’t tortured Takemoto enough yet, and so a henchman proceeds to shock her with electricity. When he gets bored, he hands of the electric prods to the villainess, who tortures her with even more electric shocks. Furusaki arrives (finally), and beats the crap out of henchman #1. However, she’s apparently unaware that the bad guys have captured her partner. Henchman #2 whips out his iPhone and plays some audio of Takemoto screaming in pain while being shocked. (There’s an app for that.™) Now, finding herself in a helpless position, she has to reluctantly allow henchman #1 to get back up and take revenge on her by beating her up with punches and stomps until she loses consciousness.

Later, the bad guys have both heroines chained up in the same room for yet more torture. A henchman stabs her (!) repeatedly, all over her body, with some kind of small knife (it’s not as graphic as it sounds), then takes a larger knife and slices parts of her costume off. Finally, he picks up the trusty old electric prods and tortures her with electric shocks until she passes out. After they carry her limp body away, Takemoto is tied to a chair and has painful goo applied to the exposed parts of her body. Furusaki manages to wake up as she’s being carried away and fights off the bad guy who’s carrying her. She makes her way to the room in which the villains are keeping her partner and unchains Takemoto. This leads to one last double-fight sequence in which Takemoto fights the villainess and Furusaki fights a henchman, who happens to be the guy who killed her father. He kindly reveals this during the fight (I think), which gives Furusaki the extra bit of motivation she needs to finish him off (not a good move on his part at all).

Takemoto delivers a fatal uppercut to the villainess, although personally, I would make extra sure she’s really dead this time since she survived a similar blow in the flashback and came back to torture the heroines years later. She seems pretty satisfied that her enemy really is dead this time and goes to assist Furusaki, who has the henchman in a compromising position and is about the deliver a fatal stab of the knife to avenge her father’s death. Takemoto arrives just in time to encounter the classic, “Will our hero(ine) sacrifice her principles and surrender to her most primitive emotions just to extract revenge which will ultimately prove unsatisfying since she will have sunken to the level of her most dreaded adversary in order to achieve closure at the expense of everything that makes her better than him” situation. I won’t reveal whether she gives in to her murderous desire, but if you’ve ever seen a movie before, you can guess how things turn out. (She does punch him really, really hard, for what it’s worth.)

…And the heroines lived happily ever after. I enjoyed this video from Zen Pictures, which proves yet again (not that it need to be demonstrated anymore) that the Japanese are the best producers in the genre. I suppose if this film is a success, we might see a sequel to this adventure, which would be okay with me. I like the spy-girl genre (I actually prefer it to the superheroine genre) and I find both actresses to be very attractive and capable of delivering good performances. There is a ton of torture in this film, so if you’re not a fan of that kind of content, this might not be the best Zen Pictures film for you. But either way, I applaud the Japanese once again for producing heroine peril content as the highest level currently available (in my humble opinion).

Sandy finds Blue Girl’s secret practice ring and surprises her. Before the heroine knows what hit her, Sandy has her belt off and her powers decrease but not enough to stop the heroine’s fight – the battle is on as our super fem is not about to be undone but this commoner but Sandy is determined to be the new big breasted Blue Girl.

Scissors, arm bars and leg stretches – each brings another article of clothes off as poor Blue Girl starts to loose all her powers – soon Sandy has the super heroine lifted over her head and slammed to the canvas, the sexy blue one is eventually naked and being destroyed by the one with all the new powers. “Standoff” – Season 1 Finale from The Battle for Earth

The Battle for Earth has just released the season one finale. Is it a worthy conclusion to a story that has taken 31 episodes to set up? Let’s find out. (Note: I personally won’t spoil anything in my review, but we will post a synopsis from the official website that was written by the producers and is available for anyone to see. Caution. Spoilers ahead…)

SYNOPSIS

With Night Girl and Stealth in Spawn’s hands, and Tempest forced to play by Spawn’s rules to save her daughter, only Superianna is left. Avalon has all but disappeared; likely dead, along with Trinity, Nova, Divinity, and Shadow Girl. Spawn sees an opportunity. Superianna is not easily beaten, but instead, he decides to begin the groundwork to humiliate and destroy her status of righteousness in the public eye. He needs Tempest close to her, so he orders Tempest to track Superianna down and join her, still following orders. Just in case, he sends Fero in pursuit to observe.

Kaid sees opportunity as well. the crystal’s powers have been fusing with the serum and his dna, and have been amplifying attributes and characteristics in his persona. He is now rich, powerful, and continues to build his heroine army while realizing the expanding powers of his crystal. He can sense Tempest is near, and decides to track her down. He doesn’t realize Spawn has her under his control. Using Diamond and Draiken for help, he tracks Tempest only to find Superianna. A fight between Tempest and Superianna against Draiken and Diamond ensues. It’s never quite that simple though.

See who switches sides, and what twists take place as good vs evil in the season finale, “Standoff”.

So there you go. After watching this episode multiple times I think the producers had three goals in mind:

1. Explain the storyline – This video is about 26 minutes long, and the first nine minutes serve as a “previously on The Battle for Earth” type retrospective. Guess what? This needed to happen. I understand some may not like 1/3 of a video being used for this purpose, but I thought it was done exceedingly well. If you’ve been with The Battle for Earth since the beginning, it will explain some parts of the storyline that got a bit muddled. If you’re new, this flashback sequence gives a good solid foundation that will let you enjoy the finale and not be totally confused.

2. Go big – And that’s just what they did. The main action sequence was shot on a rooftop location ,and it involves multiple characters in a huge brawl. It’s well choreographed and just flat out bigger than anything TBFE has previously done. I was impressed with the sheer scope of it. The fact that it was well executed is just a bonus.

3. Set up season 2 – The way the episode ended set up a lot of possibilities for future plot directions. New alliances are forged, and I think the ending might surprise you. I thought it was a bold choice by the producers, and it makes their options for season 2 plentiful.

Now, it’s important you understand that this is not a big peril-fest like many of the other TBFE videos. Well, I shouldn’t say that. Once again, it’s all in how you personally define “peril.” If it’s just a heroine in a fight, then this is a good video for you. If you’re looking for the more hardcore peril elements that TBFE is known for, they are largely absent from this episode. The only fetish elements that I can recall are Superianna being bearhugged from behind and Tempest being strangled for a short time.

Bottom line: this was a well done film, and I think their most ambitious effort since the premier episode. All the actors brought their “A” game, and all of the girls looked terrific. I thought Tempest stood out the most in this regard.

Are there any shortcomings? Well, I would have liked to see both Nightgirl and Stealth. Neither is seen in this episode. I think Nightgirl was my favorite character introduced in the post-Rye era, and Stealth seemed to garner a lot of love from fans in her appearances. Some may be turned off by the nine-minute flashback, and I understand that. However, I think the producers edited this sequence together as well as humanly possible. It had to be tough to encapsulate hours of video into a few minutes. It’s hard to imagine anyone doing a better job.

Wonder Angel from Giga / Akiba Web

Giga’s Wonder Angel is the second in the company’s series of English-language superheroine “adventures” starring Briana Blair. In Superior Lady, Blair played a Supergirl-style heroine; this time around, her character is based on Wonder Woman. Other than that, things are pretty much as you’d expect, if you expect a thorough defiling of Wonder Angel.

We begin with Wonder Angel, in street clothes, descending a staircase in a mysterious location. We learn that she’s been summoned here for an unknown reason. Suddenly, a blast of white gas is emitted and hits Blair right in the face. I thought this was kind of funny—how did they know she’d be standing in that exact spot when they set up their hidden gas machine? Maybe after several years of doing nothing but capturing superheroines, these guys know exactly what they’re doing.

When the smoke clears (I mean that both literally and figuratively—aren’t I clever?), a masked henchman appears. He now knows that this mild-mannered woman dressed in business casual attire must be Wonder Angel because the nerve gas had no effect on her, other than making her cough. (Note: I tried several times to catch the henchman’s name in this scene. As he lifts Wonder Angel by the throat, he quite dramatically says, “My name… is POWER-GONG!” But I’m not sure if it’s Power-Gong or Power-Bong or Power-Ball or Power-Gahh. Any help would be appreciated.)

Power-Thong chokes Wonder Angel, throws her on the ground, straddles her and lightly squeezes her breasts before Wonder Angel finds the inner strength to deliver a well-timed and accurate crotch kick, which sends him falling over to the ground, holding his crotch in pain. Wonder Angel takes this opportunity to transform into… Wonder Angel (in costume). Wonder Angel fights Power-Fawn very briefly before he grabs her magical golden chain (or whatever), thereby weakening her. He chokes her with the chain, grabs her boobs, grabs her crotch, and chloroforms her, bringing this opening sequence to a close.

The rest of the video consists of Wonder Angel being mercilessly abused, tortured and sexually assaulted by Power-Rod and his goons. At this point, it basically becomes a plain old porn movie in which the main character happens to be dressed as Wonder Woman. She even becomes totally obedient and starts to voluntarily participate in various sex acts, which I know is a turn-off for a lot of fans of these films. (I’m sure there’s a reason for this in the story, but I became really bored by all of this and may have missed it.)

So while I think Briana Blair is attractive and looks great in her Wonder Angel costume, I think the novelty of having an American actress play an American-style heroine in an English-language Giga production has worn off, and I would now like Giga to get back to making Japanese language productions with Japanese-speaking actors and actresses. Additionally, it seems that Giga just tried a lot harder with Briana Blair’s Superior Lady, which had better production values, impressive effects, and a well-staged fight scene before the debauchery began. Here, it’s nothing but debauchery. Unfortunately (for me), I suspect these English-language productions are probably pretty successful. I don’t have any sales figures to back up this assertion; it’s just a hunch. So I wouldn’t be surprised to see more of this style of video from Giga in the future.

Mighty Honey from Zen Pictures

Supergirl versus Zombies. That’s the short pitch for the latest Zen Pictures release, Mighty Honey, starring the beautiful and talented newcomer Risa Saiki as the Supergirl-esque title character in a movie that represent something of a return to form for Zen Pictures.

I’ve been a little hard on Zen Pictures in recent reviews. The movies haven’t been bad, just not up to the standard they set when I discovered the site a couple years back. I thought Might Honey was a good step back in the direction that made Zen my favorite producer in the genre.

After a torturously long opening credit sequence we are treated to a nice f/x shot of Might Honey flying over a forest. She makes her way to the city and finds that it is quite literally on fire. She locks on to the villains responsible and confronts them.

If you’re familiar with Zen Pictures, you know what’s coming. Mighty Honey flies in and makes short work of the bad guys. This is actually a well-choreographed scene that utilizes some impressive stunt work and incorporates a lot of slow motion to good effect. Oh, yeah. This is as good a time as any to mention that Might Honey is played by an actress who is just about flawless. She is a stunning woman, and she is outfitted in a terrific variation of a Supergirl costume. Her name is Risa Saiki and this is her first Zen Pictures appearance.

Now, there is a storyline, but I’ll be darned if I can figure out what it is. If I had to hazard a guess, I think the civilian persona of Mighty Honey is that of a reporter. She and two other guys seem to be investigating an old factory that may be responsible for tainting the water supply. One of the men betrays Mighty Honey, and the two bad guys from the opening sequence are waiting for her. She takes down one of them, but the other injects himself with a substance that gives him incredible size, strength, and a zombie like appearance. He drops Mighty Honey with one punch, and, you know what that means, cue the torture music!

Might Honey is tied up AOH, exposed to green glowing sticks, choked, punched in the stomach repeatedly, wrapped in chains, and electrocuted. This is a long and drawn out torture scene that I imagine many peril fans will enjoy. The bad guys leave her to die, but she is saved by her friend. She flies off again and tracks the bad guys to a new hideout, only to run into more trouble. She is captured a second time and has to square off against the giant zombie again.

It’s not much of a fight at first. They have a test of strength that lasts for over five minutes and then the zombie crushes Mighty Honey in a bear hug. All seems lost, but like almost all Zen films, the heroine digs deep down and finds a way to win in the end.

To me this felt like classic Zen Pictures. Heroine dominates in the beginning, heroine gets in a great amount of trouble, heroine wins in the end. That’s my personal favorite formula for these kind of movies. If you do buy this film, I encourage you to watch the making of clip that comes with the download. They show a lot of behind the scenes footage of how they choreograph fights and how they execute their flying sequences with the use of a shop-vac that is set on blow, not suck. (Sorry, couldn’t pass that one up.)

The best clip ends with the director giving what must be a rather poignant speech, because the actress breaks down in tears. If anyone out there speaks Japanese and sees this clip, I would love to have a translation of what the director said. I swear, the actress is on the verge of completely losing it before they fade to black.

Might Honey is a entertaining film and feels like a classic Zen effort.

Hyper Sexy Heroine NEXT New Trino from Zen Pictures

You know how even if you don’t speak Japanese, you’re still able to figure out the plot and back-story of most Zen films? Well, Hyper Sexy Heroine NEXT New Trino is not one of those films. That’s right, I’m going to attempt to review a story that went completely over my head even after multiple viewings.

We begin with a shot of every building in a city on fire as laser blasts rain down from an unknown source. We then are introduced to our heroine, who, to the surprise of no one, is incredibly attractive. The thing here that is surprising is that she has already been captured. That breaks away from the normal Zen playbook. Usually they start off by showing how powerful and dominate their heroines are, but not here.

The next 12 minutes of the film are going to please enthusiasts of three particular scenarios. A heroine tied AOH, belly punching, and electric torture. Why will it please fans of these three things? Because that is all that happens. Literally. For about 12 minutes, that’s all that we see until the heroine teleports away.

We then cut to a young child being chased by a school bully. The funny thing about the bully—he appears to be about 40 years old. Only at Zen. The bully corners the child, but either through an amazing coincidence or possibly because he’s one of those genius kids that can design robots, a giant red robot shows up and chases the bully away. However, the bad guys who were torturing the heroine earlier show up and quickly disable the robot. Fear not; the heroine shows up and wipes out the villains in a fight scene that features some of the high-end fight choreography that Zen is known for.

Later on, the heroine has tracked down the villains at their hideout. She starts beating on the bad guys some more but is stopped in her tracks when it is revealed the bad guys have taken control of the young boys robot and now hold the boy hostage. The heroine surrenders, and what happens for the next 25 minutes? More belly punching! She also gets beat with a club. Sure, why not?

The young boy is able to reprogram his robot friend, and they stop the torture. The heroine is then confronted buy another robot that is controlled by the bad guys. The robot dominates the heroine in a test of strength and crushes her in an extended bear hug. On the verge of defeat, the heroine pulls out some kind of explosive device and incinerates the villains.

I get the feeling that the post-production process didn’t go well on this film. That could be because a part of the production process didn’t go well. A lot of things happen that are unexplained, and there appears to be some loose plot threads. You want examples?

1. At the beginning the city is on fire, and lasers are being fired from the sky. We never see the city like that again and never learn the source of the laser attack.

2. During the torture scene, the heroine is teleported away. We never find out how. Did she teleport herself? If she could do that, why not teleport away earlier? If she was teleported by someone else, we never learn who that is.

3. The bad guys turn the robot against the boy. We never see how. We never see the boy being kidnapped. They just show up at the villains lair.

I could go on, but you get the point. I have to believe some footage got left on the cutting room floor that would probably explain the plot holes. Alas, how many people out there really buy Zen videos for the plot anyway? This video is probably not for everyone, but I think it will appeal to a lot of viewers. The lead actress is stunning, there is some good fight choreography, and bearhug, stomach punching and electric torture enthusiasts will be thrilled.

Bloodlines 2 from Steel Cinema

Picking up right where the first episode left off, Bloodlines 2 from Steel Cinema finds Superior Girl (Ashley Rose) doing battle against the dreaded Calista (Carly Quinn)… and losing horribly. What else would you expect?

Immediately after defeating Tony Stock, Superior Girl turns her attention to Calista and proceeds to fight her, as her helpless cousin Superia looks on while trapped inside the dreaded “Zone of Phantoms.” For some reason, Superior Girl’s punches seem to have no effect on Calista, who mocks our superheroine, saying things like, “Is that the best you’ve got, superbitch?”

Basically, Superior Girl just gets the living hell beat out of her for the majority of the video. Lots of face slaps, stomach punches, stretches, some crotch grabbing, etc. This beatdown goes on for several minutes, but Superior Girl somehow manages to gain her bearings and tell Calista that she’s not afraid, despite being “weakened by space fragments.”

However, the horrid Calista threatens to shoot the Zone of Phantoms, which, as every fan of Superman II knows, is made of very thin, fragile glass (kind of odd for such an incredibly important contraption intended to hold the universe’s most deadly villains). Superior Girl can’t bear the thought of her cousin being killed, and so agrees to kneel to Calista and suffer the humiliation of defeat.

But simply having Superior Girl kneel and admit that she surrenders isn’t enough for Calista, who weakens Superior Girl with some more space fragments, tosses her around the room, and delivers multiple low blows. She then puts some space-fragment-infused handcuffs on Superior Girl, beats her some more, has her tied up AOH, and whips her for a really long time.

All in a day’s work for the bad guys at Steel Cinema. While there’s no explicit sexual content, fans of PG-13 beatdowns and superheroine torture should love Bloodlines 2.

Empress Sayuri Returns to RingDivas

Fans of Empress Sayuri, one of the most popular characters / wrestlers in the RingDivas roster, rejoice! The company has announced that Sayuri is back (and is available for custom video orders). Personally I hope this means we’ll be seeing Sayuri Blood Chronicles 3, but who knows?

Apparently, at the end of RingDivas’ latest video release, The Big Event 2011, it is revealed that Sayuri has made her return after a four- or five-year absence from RingDivas. Sayuri was the reigning champion for a long time and never lost her championship belt (for those of you keeping track of such things). Now she’s back, and will undoubtedly face off against the current slate of RingDivas stars.

Empress Sayuri starred in RingDivas’ first narrative video production, Sayuri Blood Chronicles, and returned for Sayuri Blood Chronicles 2. Like I mentioned, I hope we’re in for a third installment, as I really liked the second and (for now) final film.

Angel Avengers 2: Bionic Bombshell from Cult Retro (Preview)

Cult Retro has released the newest video in its Angel Avengers series, titled Angel Avengers 2: Bionic Bombshell. It stars Tsvetanka Vergilova and looks like it features some impressive special effects, which is to be expected from the makers of the Stormy Tempest series.

Synopsis:

Featuring Tsvetanka Vergilova as Nikki, a destructive agent known for her incredible strength, power and exotic beauty. High-tech bionic implants ripple just below her skin allowing her to stop thugs in their tracks with a single blow.

Nikki is dispatched on a solo mission to take out a gaggle of goons trafficking occult artifacts out of a garage in an unsuspecting and quiet suburban neighborhood. But that won’t stop our Angel from clobbering the bad guys and putting an “explosive” end to their operation. Martial artist Micah Goingback joins the cast as a character soon to be known as the dreaded Bionic Fist! Crimson Clash from UltraHeroix

UltraHeroix is quickly becoming one of my favorite producers, and the company has just released its latest video, Crimson Clash, which features the return of the sexy Asian ninja, Crimson Cat, who is on a quest to find Lady Ultra.

Crimson Clash is the followup to previous UltraHeroix video, Dark Embrace, in which the world’s most powerful heroine, Lady Ultra, was defeated and turned evil. Also, a powerful criminal organization that controls many of the villains previously seen in the UltraHeroix storyline was introduced. It was the best UltraHeroix film ever produced (and was reviewed here).

Crimson Clash begins with the heroine Crimson Cat searching for Lady Ultra, who has been missing for weeks. The first thing you’ll notice is the actress who plays Crimson Cat is stunning and continues to show that nobody does casting diversity better than UltraHeroix. Crimson Cat takes out what appears to be a scientist, before being confronted by a large villain known as X-Diablo.

The two foes engage in a brutal fight that takes place in several outdoor locations. The characters take turns having the advantage, but X-Diablo definitely has control more often. He locks Crimson Cat in two bearhugs, snaps her over his knee, ties her to a tree, and demasks her. Later on, in what I believe is a first for the superheroine genre, he attempts to finish her off with a heavy construction vehicle! Yes, you read that correctly.

All of this leads up to an incredible three-minute conclusion that I don’t want to spoil. Just know there is blood, the introduction of a new character, and a cliffhanger ending.

Crimson Clash is a fun heroine film. I can’t quite says it’s better than Dark Embrace, but I believe it is every bit as good. I think Dark Embrace was a little more story-centric while Crimson Clash is more action-oriented. The fact that the producers are able to make both kinds of films with equal skill says a lot about their talents. The UltraHeroix producers are evolving into great storytellers and the Crimson Clash ending opens several avenues they can go down story-wise. I can’t wait to see what they do next.

I really don’t have any negatives to mention except one thing: the music. Not the music choices, just the music levels. There are times where I feel the music is just too loud and completely takes over the scene. I could be alone on this, I just think it would make for a better movie if the music was generally kept at background levels, if that makes sense.

Speaking of sound, I would recommend that when you do watch this film, it may be best to use VLC Media Player if you have it. I watched it on both VLC and Windows Media Player. You’ll be fine in you watch it on WMP, I just thought the sound was crisper on VLC.

Lastly, and this has nothing to do with the film, but I think it’s worth mentioning. I believe UltraHeroix has a chance to be an “A-list” producer along the likes of Next Global Crisis and Cult Retro if they continue down their current path. They are growing with every episode and seem to be in touch with their audience. A simple thing I think they may want to consider to help them get to that “A-list” level is a site redesign. It’s just a little cumbersome to navigate and things are kind of all over the place. Just a thought from somebody with absolutely no skills as a web designer, so the producers should consider the source before they take any action on that. Other than that, there aren’t many videos I look forward too more than those made by UltraHeroix.

Wonder Weoman vs. Mind Stealers 2 from TeamWizard

Wonder Weoman vs. Mind Stealers Part 2, the highly anticipated sequel from the Korean producers at TeamWizard, equals the original in terms of acting, special effects and production values. It’s another really impressive video, and I hope the Wonder Weoman series is the first of many productions from TeamWizard.

The sequel picks up exactly where the original left off, with Wonder Weoman (played again by the lovely Choi Yunjung) having received a thorough beatdown at the hands of the evil, beast-like Zord. Zord picks up the barely conscious Wonder Weoman and tosses her inside, where she lands at the feet of the male villain (Danny) who, in the previous episode, was defeated by Wonder Weoman. He now extracts revenge by slapping and punching Wonder Weoman as she lays half-conscious on the ground. He then instructs Zord to beat her up some more, and he does so with stomps and a bearhug. Just when things look really dire for our heroine, her friend Alex comes to the rescue and saves Wonder Weoman… for now anyway.

Meanwhile, the bad guys collect themselves back at their evil base and decide to continue in their attempt to steal several of the most “profitable” minds our humble planet has to offer. Wonder Weoman learns that the Prob are participating in some suspicious activity in a building downtown—she and Alex believe this is the epicenter of the Prob’s activity and Alex goes to investigate (and is soon followed by Wonder Weoman, who may feel a little something special for Alex).

This leads to an assassination attempt against poor Alex. He survives, and the story gets kind of convoluted at this point, involving interplanetary negotiations between Alex and the alien council, a press conference involving Alex and Wonder Woeman (in which Wonder Weoman makes the effort to wearing a special decorative cape just for the occasion), another attempt on Alex’s life, and the realization that Wonder Weoman has only a few hours to save the Earth before the council initiates the decontamination of the planet, which will result in the forced insanity of millions of… oh, never mind. When you watch the movie yourself, it will all make perfect sense.

The important thing here is that, just as in the first episode, the production values here are really top notch. Wonder Weoman is super hot, the acting is very good across the board, there are multiple interior and exterior locations (including a stunning backdrop during Wonder Weoman’s fight against Zord), and there’s even some peril thrown in for good measure. Granted, most of the “peril” occurs in the first few minutes of the video, but the remainder of the movie is so well made that I feel it’s definitely worth a purchase.

If there is a drawback to this episode, it may be (for some viewers) that there’s a lot of dialogue and exposition, and things do get a little complicated, story-wise. There are two or three action sequences, and the rest of the film is dialogue heavy, but again, I don’t think that takes away from the quality of this production or from the entertainment value.

As mentioned previously, Wonder Weoman has a climactic fight with Zord, with the fate of the Earth hanging in the balance. (I love the detail of having WW’s feet sliding backwards across the concrete during a “test of strength” moment). Wonder Weoman is squeezed with a lasso, slapped to the ground, kicked in the face, bearhugged, and more. Although I would have to say that technically speaking, the action and editing are better in a Next Global Crisis production, I really enjoyed this fight sequence.

So in a nutshell, this is another terrific episode from TeamWizard, who has burst onto the independent superheroine scene with excellent productions. I really hope we get to see more from TeamWizard, and I hope they can maintain the same high level of quality they’ve demonstrated with this Wonder Weoman series.

Bloodlines from Steel Cinema (Preview)

Steel Cinema has just released Bloodlines, starring Ashley Rose and featuring a villain character who bears a striking resemblance to a certain popular metal-based superhero (and Carly, who always makes a great villainess). Check out the trailer, stills and story description below!

Story description

Synestra has helped her sister (Calista) escape from the Zone of Phantoms and now she seeks revenge on her jailer, Superior Girl. Her cousin Superia is already tracking Synestra so she becomes the bait and test subject for Tony’s new power suit. Superia gives Tony a good run but he eventually wears her down and stands over the fallen heroine. Superia is nearly turned into dust but manages to blast his power suit with heat vision and accidently sends him to another realm. Calista confronts Superia who is caught off guard by her magic and then hand cuffs laced with green space fragments.

Superia becomes Calista’s personal toy and endures space rock laced cattails and other forms of physical attacks until Superior Girl arrives. She is confronted by a very angry and more powerful Tony Stock. Superior Girl and Tony battle it out but Tony is just to strong for Superior Girl who finds herself on the losing end of a humiliating beat down.
