Giga strives to cover every possible iteration of superheroine peril, and they leave no stone unturned in doing so. Herione Tentacle Insult Vol. 5, as the title indicates, is all about tentacles, which seem to comprise a very popular fetish, particularly in Japan. (At least, that’s my impression—the first time I encountered such an idea was in a Japanese anime, though I don’t remember which one). In any event, Heroine Tentacle Insult Vol. 5 features the beautiful Rina Himekawa, one of Giga’s most prolific actresses, up against several bad guys, including one who uses tentacles. I really enjoyed it.
The opening scenes feature the usual Giga-style introduction, with a group of thugs chasing a nice-looking middle aged man carrying a briefcase of some importance. Just as they’re about to deliver the death blow, they’re interrupted by the lovely Rina Himekawa, who takes down the thugs in a well choreographed and edited fight sequence.
She follows the thugs into the bad guys’ evil base, where she fights even more thugs. Things go pretty well until a really ugly humanoid octopus-like bad guy enters the room. More fighting ensues, with Himekawa dominating fairly easily.
Eventually, the octopus guy gets tired of messing around, so he unleashes a tentacle around Himekawa’s wrist and another around her neck, leaving her pretty helpless. She manages to break free, but two zombie-like men (one of whom is the briefcase carrier from the beginning) emerge and reveal their new superpowers: the ability to shoot tentacles out of their mouths (not exactly every boy’s dream superpower, but I guess it’s pretty useful on occasions like this).
The two guys stand on either side of Himekawa, stretching her arms apart with tentacles. Another bad guy delivers belly punches to the defenseless Himekawa. The tentacles sexually abuse her, slithering around her private areas. She’s raped (with a tentacle), whipped (with a tentacle), and pretty much abused in every possible tentacle-related way (with tentacles). In the last scene, a tentacle appears to grow out of her and engulf her (if I understand this correctly).
So, needless to say, if you enjoy tentacles with your superheroines, then look no further than Heroine Tentacle Insult Vol. 5. You definitely won’t be disappointed with the sheer amount of tentacles in this film. The fight scenes are pretty good, although Himekawa isn’t quite as convincing in her fighting moves as some other actresses. But she looks great and represents a rare combination of beauty and a willingness to do anything for her role. Normally, I’ve found that Zen Pictures tends to have better looking actresses than Giga, but Himekawa is really gorgeous.
