“Heroine Killer Thorough Suppression” from Giga

[Warning: graphic] Giga’s Heroine Killer Thorough Suppression, starring Megumi Haruka, lives up to its title. There’s a heroine, there’s a heroine killer, the heroine is both killed and thoroughly suppressed. If you’re not turned off by the savagery of the heroine’s destruction, this is a pretty enjoyable video.

Like almost all Giga videos, this one features stellar production values, an attractive lead heroine (played in this case by Megumi Haruka), and an extended beatdown/destruction sequence (though this one avoids explicit sexual content). The heroine in this case—oddly named Melty Lana—is actually Supergirl, wearing a costume clearly based on DC’s latest character redesign. Our heroine killer, who goes by the name of Kerberos of the Milky Way (coincidentally my birth name), beats the living sh*t out of “Miss Galaxy,” a random Power Ranger-esque superheroine, ultimately killing her and setting the stage for the extended showdown between Kereberos and Melty Lana.

I really liked setting up the climactic battle by showing us what Kerberos of the Milky Way can do when he overpowers a superheroine. And that’s exactly what happens when Melty Lana encounters him. She fights valiantly, but ultimately loses (of course) and finds herself subjected to vicious, devastating stomach punches, groin kicks, face slaps, etc., until she is thoroughly beaten into near-unconsciousness. At one point, Kerberos breaks Lana’s arm in a sequence I have to admit is quite shocking and disturbing, both because of its graphic nature and because of Megumi Haruka’s reaction. Otherwise, I enjoyed this film and recommend it for fans of extended superheroine beatdowns.

Miss Galaxy is based on Miss America, a character from “Battle Fever J”. This series was initially supposed to be a “Captain America” adaptation but they finally decided to make a team of five characters, each one based on a different country (America, Kenya, Russia, France and, of course, Japan). Yet, Captain America’s influence is obvious when you look at their costumes.

PS: I’m French, so forgive my bad english.

I cant seem to get these videos to play. I’m running windows 7 with an up to date player and I keep getting an error. I even tried VLC player, which usually plays everything. I tried their Q&A section on the site but it seems a little dated. Anyone else have any trouble with them?
