Message from “Da Jinx” at UltraHeroix

Hi Everyone,

I am happy to give a sneak peek of the upcoming new Swiftgirl storyline. This is a story that should span to three or four episodes/videos. To start off, we have a new Swiftgirl. We lost touch with the original actress, which is why it took so long to do this shoot—we had to find the right actress, and I believe the new Swiftgirl has filled those boots nicely.

This storyline involves Swiftgirl’s origin where she is confronted by her long lost sister Nuclea, (who has a serious hatred for Swiftgirl). They battle until they are joined by Vod, the destroyer of their world. He is our version of General Zod with a bit of Nuclear man too, and he is joined by his brother, the silent yet lethal Gorn. I’ve included some behind-the-scenes pics from the first shoot. There will be plenty of peril along with a focus on story.

I took inspiration Superman II, where swiftgirl goes up against three super-villains in a multi-part story which also has a few surprises. This video should be available in about two weeks. I am also happy to say that due to the success of the first Swiftgirl videos, we were able to up the production value in this series by shooting in a new location with two HD cameras. I want to thank everyone who has supported us, and I bet you will be love the upcoming Swiftgirl storyline.

Thanks,
Da Jinx

I enjoyed the first two Swift Girl films. I’ll certainly miss that Swift Girl. But I’ll look forward to what they do with this one. The villians look great.

Agree with Jobber Lover. I thought the old Swift Girl was fantastic, but I’m more than willing to give the new girl a try. I think the new location and the upgrade to HD is good. I think a lot of producers have upped their game recently and it’s important for smaller companies like Ultraheroix to do the same when they can.

This looks great. The other Swift Girl releases were well worth the purchase, so I’m definitely looking forward to this one.

Hope there will be some good KO unconscious scenes (like in ‘Shipping & Villainy’).

Enjoyed the first 2 Swift movies…

Nice, looking forward to this one. Any chance DaJinx you’ll pay homage to some of the Superman IV fight scenes? Maybe Swift Girl gets a cut from some deadly nails by Nuclea?

No matter what getting this one for sure!

I have to add that I’m glad you gave some attention to the villains costumes. It’s always better to see the Superheroine get a good fight from supervillains rather than some average looking guy in tennis shoes and Levis.

Shame to hear about the other actress, but I like this one as well. Nice job on the villains as well, the redhead looks amazing and can’t wait to see 3 on 1 vs. Swift Girl! Looks like our heroine will be in plenty of trouble!

Man I loved the original Swift Girl. Hopefully you guys can get her back. She was so pretty and had the perfect petite body that looked great in that costume. But after seeing the above pics I am already sold on New SG. She looks great too. Were you able to include low blows in this one @DAJINX? I remember in the previous Swift thread you said youd try to include them, right? just wondering if you were able to in this one.

Hi all,
I’m happy to see the interest in the upcoming Swiftgirl adventures. Just to touch on a few stuff:
Thanks for the positive feedback on the villain costumes, especially on the guys. It’s rare that you see male super-villains dress as super-villains in our genre and I wanted to create a look that says supervillain without looking too campy. The male actors really looked great wearing them and were comfortable with it too.
I haven’t shot the finale yet, this story-line will have 3 or 4 videos. So I will try to put the Nuclea scratch and a lowblow in the last episode but I think you will still be happy with all the action and peril in the videos leading up to finale as the battles takes a toll on a worn-out Swiftgirl.

Love the attention to the villain’s costumes. Nuclea in particular looks amazing! Is it planned or possible to see Swiftgirl buried by any of the villains like the moon scene in Superman IV?

11 Da Jinx October 23, 2012 at 9:15 pm

I would love to do the moon scene in Superman IV. It was one of my favorite scenes but unfortunately at this time I don’t have the location or resources nor can think of a possible close substitutes to pull that scene off.

In the meantime, I’ll keep trying to think of possible solutions.

Another thought…a battered Swiftgirl chained with a necklace that weakens her powers, dropped in the quicksand like in the Phantom Zone from the SG movie… :)

I can imagine how difficult it would be to find a location for a such a scene. Other than that element, I think most of the burial shots could be done using camera angles. Here’s behind the scenes footage of the actual SM IV scene:

Although it would be amazing to see the actress kneeling down in a small hole in the ground. :P

Thanks jjy,
That was pretty helpful. I think I would save that for a future Swiftgirl story but I atleast have an idea of how to do that scene without literally burying the actress.

I also like red-mountain’s idea. I’ll have to save the burying scene for spring/summer time. It would be too cold right now since I think I would like to try that outdoors.

On a side-note, we will try and have the first Swiftgirl vid available by Halloween evening (oct 31st).
