UPDATED! Season 2, Side Mission 6 from Next Global Crisis

Season 2, Side Mission 6 from Next Global CrisisUPDATED: See below. Wow! Didn’t see that one coming. What am I talking about? Can’t tell you that. I can tell you that if you just watched the trailer or looked at some preview photos, neither adequately reveals the greatness that is Season 2, Side Mission 6 from Next Global Crisis.

UPDATE – New Member’s Only Video

A new members-only video has been sent out via email today—feel free to discuss below. (And if you missed your chance at this one, be sure to join the NGC Discounts List for the next one!) Here’s the trailer:

Original Post – Sidekick’s Review of Side Mission 6

I think you all know by now that Bluebird is back. Apparently, while Catherine Marks was getting punched, scratched and beatdown, after following up on a fake distress call, Bluebird was doing the same thing. She shows up at an abandoned building, but it is quickly apparent that she in not alone.

Snare, with his almost Batman-like ability to appear and disappear, plays a little game of cat-and-mouse with our heroine. He taunts her a bit, lands some face and stomach punches, and just like that, he’s gone.

This pattern continues a time or two as Snare slaps on a choke hold, lands some more punches and kicks, and wraps one of his ropes around Bluebird’s waist and treats her like a yo-yo. However, Bluebird finally catches on to Snare’s tactics and takes control.

She seems to have him at his mercy but Snare is able to shock her and wrap one of his restraints around Bluebird’s neck. And that’s the reason why Red Mist chose Snare to confront her. Her power to catch a second and third wind isn’t all that useful when she’s being strangled. Things look incredibly grim until, well, I can’t go there. Big things happen. That’s all I’ll say.

I do want to give some general NGC thoughts.

1. Bluebird is back! Claire Yellowlees is back! It seems to tweak some people that I call her the best all around package in the genre, and I understand why. There’s a ton of incredible talent out there. It’s just my opinion and I have never implied that it is in any way a unanimous notion. I’m guessing many would vote for… nope, can’t say it. You’ll know who I mean when you watch this episode.

2. More on Claire. She hasn’t appeared for months, and when I saw the trailer for this episode, I thought she looked better than ever. I couldn’t quite put my finger on why though. After watching the episode, I figured it out, and I can explain why in one word: legs. She’s always been a statuesque beauty with great legs, but she must have been doing leg lifts for the several months she was off screen. Just killer legs on this girl.

3. There are those of you that have been looking for the definitive Bluebird KO. I don’t know what people mean by definitive—I’m not a KO guy—but I don’t think this is what you are looking for in the Bluebird KO area. Just an opinion.

4. I liked Snare and the actor who played him. I can’t say I loved the character after his first appearance but he grew on me. I won’t put him in the Sebastian Lunar class just yet but I thought he took a nice leap forward in this episode.

5. I may not be a KO guy, but I am part of the group that is looking for NGC to bring in that physically imposing, nigh invulnerable villain that the girls will have to deal with. My first choice to take on such a villain, Bluebird. My second choice, I can’t say. Again, you’ll know who I mean when you watch this episode.

(Note: This episode is longer in duration than other Side Mission episodes, but the price remains the same at $9.95 for Discount List members.)

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 3:54 pm

@Beast – Yes we are very very excited about the new FSS heroine. We’ve not shot anything new with Shadowstar so you will have to wait some time for that.

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 1:14 pm

I am downloading it now but i have have to say that i already love the FSS heroine . Can i expect a Shadowstar near return?

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 12:38 pm

    Got it!

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 12:36 pm

….AND mine has just arrived at hotmail, so that’s only 3 and a half hours late. But hey, hope you’ve got yours too now.

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 12:20 pm

Also – If you want to sign up with an alternative email address your validation email (if it arrives) will contain links to Episode 7 too. I can’t do much more. I’m sure it will deliver but it’s out of my hands.

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 12:04 pm

It’s bizarre because it has passed through all filters as I test everything prior to send. It just hasn’t been delivered yet. If you can wait then email me and I’ll sort you out.

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 11:25 am

For what it’s worth, I’m on hotmail and I haven’t had it yet either! Looking forward though….looks great

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 10:30 am

Hi Naveed, it went out about 90 minutes ago, though there seems to be a delay of some kind on hotmail, no idea why. Check your spam folder too.

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 10:27 am

@naveed – It’s out and in my case, downloaded, along with the photo set; time to watch!

  • Nov. 9, 2012 at 10:03 am

the new video is not out yet?…

  • Nov. 8, 2012 at 11:30 pm

Best seven bucks I ever spent!

  • Nov. 7, 2012 at 1:40 pm

Wow incredible! Where do you find these really tall girls? Looks like Miss Freedoms out of her league, hope she puts up a good fight, though it looks like there’s at least one KO (not that I’m complaining you understand). So we find out how she swapped costumes?

  • Nov. 6, 2012 at 8:39 am

Wow! How tall is the new girl? Miss Freedom is pretty tall herself and the girl in black towers over her.

  • Nov. 2, 2012 at 5:17 pm

Finally got my power back on and downloaded this, i opted for the both ending combo. Enjoyed both thoroughly. I am a huge fan of alternate endings. I prefer the heroine to lose but when given the chance I want to see her win too. It makes it more interesting to see how things “should” have ended and then also indulge my guilty pleasure of how things could go wrong. All that aside, great work as consistently always in the technical and acting departments. Short but very sweet.

  • Oct. 31, 2012 at 7:04 pm

I actually went ahead and bought both endings, and liked them both! I always love the high level of intelligence that goes into the writing of NGC’s videos, and if you paid the extra two or three bucks, you can see how BOTH versions offer credible scenarios based on the character’s dislike of one another. The ‘feedback knockout loop’ was a really innovative idea…and both of the actresses sold the action in a way that managed to bring the ‘sexy’ without dipping into ‘sleazy’…job very well done, Next Global Crisis!

  • Oct. 31, 2012 at 3:14 pm

Perhaps the best video from NGC to date, it is absolutely fantastic – and I am referring to the one where Bluebird loses. Wow, the actress is so beautiful and talented. I have not been too eager for the beat down, but now I am sold.

What would be really great is if the upcoming fight between Angel and Bluebird that the latest side mission hints at was a tough one without either heroine able to really get the upper hand, only to have the villainess from this “members only” clip to interrupt when both are tired and worn out and easily give them both a severe beating. Perhaps others might find that interesting.

Also, and just out of curiosity, I’d be extremely interested in the ration between sales of the clip where Bluebird wins and the one where she loses.

  • Oct. 31, 2012 at 4:40 am

@Descendingskulls – Provided you didn’t delete the email and it’s still on your system then you will be able to access the film. I’ve no plans to remove the film itself from the server.

@flip_flop – I’m very pleased you liked the film. It’s a limited release and also $6.95 so it won’t be breaking any sales records but I’m pleased with how it’s done and will make improvements where I can to the ‘One Chance’ series.

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 9:23 pm

Awesome video, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s your all-time best seller! There should definitely be more “bad ending” side missions in the future

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 8:53 pm

@NGC: before the email disappears or will the video itself disappear? I got the email on my smartphone but I lost electricity due to the giant east coast US hurricane and may be without power for a week or more. I will buy the video when i get power back if it’s still around!

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 6:54 pm

Well I’ve had some of the best feedback to this members only video that I’ve ever received. People clearly enjoyed the content and I am pleased people enjoy the bad relationship between these two characters. We have plans to develop this more in the future in a big way!

Anyone who is a member but didn’t see this needs to check their spam box quickly before it disappears.

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 11:43 am

    Allright i will: SPOILERS:

I got the bad ending of the members only video. I have to imagine the good ending one has to be vastly different because Bluebird gets the crap beat out of her. bad. She is koed about 4 times. Lots of long shots of her koed body. She is electrocuted by a forefield 3 times and sells it perfectly. The ending is perfect. Bluebird’s final fate is absolutley genius. i do expect her to either be dying or dead at the very end. The villan leaves Bluebird in a very clever final final trap.

Having not gotten ever NGC video I don’t know if the villain has been seen before but she is both A)tall and imposing and B)kind of sexy. I have to stress that we have some nice shots of her ass as she struts away after destroying bluebird, her ass looks very lovley in her tight black body suit. You don’t see the final blow to Bluebird you just see the villan smile and leave but it really works. her evil little smile and bluebird’s cries of pain really seal the deal. Her reaction after she wins seemed really true as to what a bad guy’s reaction would be if they finally put down the heroine. she seemed smug and satisfied.

I loved this video. It is one of the best heroine peril videos i have ever seen. Bluebird finally gets a definite KO and then some. I hope NGC keeps doing videos like these. It gives the viewer a chance to see the heroines they love get put down once and for all and it doesn’t mess up NGC’s storylines. Fantastic work!

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 11:22 am

@robopope25 – Feel free to discuss the member’s only video in this thread.

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 10:47 am

The new members only stuff I mean. I already bought side mission 6

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 10:46 am

I’m certainly downloading this when I get home tonight.

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 9:30 am

In the e-mail that came for this episode there is a small photo of Bluebird and it looks like she’s in a great deal of trouble. Is that a new character that she is fighting or is that one of the same grey shirts from earlier episodes.

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 8:33 am

Yes the new video is AMAZING. It made the hurricane day over here in NYC a million times better. If you haven’t, KO fans buy the bad ending NOW. NOW. NOW. NOW. Can we have a thread to discuss this amazing video?

p.S The bad girl’s ass in the leather pants…amazing.

  • Oct. 30, 2012 at 1:45 am

I dont know where is the place to post it but i just want to say that the new members video is amazing!
I love how NGC brings a new element to the table in each chapter and they used it in the right spots. I dont know from where that fence appears or why is in there but its an icreidible addition to the fight and for the ending ( the bad is what i buy by the way).
Both actresses were great also. What i would love to see for the next member video is more dialog during the demise from part of the heroine ( not much…) and maybe a death scene ( without blood or that kind). But i have to say that the ending for this video is so great and it is build in such a sutil way that both characters havent to say anything and even is not necessary to see the outcome only to hear it. Superb work

  • Oct. 23, 2012 at 1:42 pm

@Mike A — Thanks for the breakdown of the scene. I can see why some would count this as KO and others, like us, would be a little disappointed with it. We just have to remember that NGC isn’t targeting us, specifically, with their content. It’s like when there’s a knockout in a mainstream movie or TV show, and they sort of gloss over it to get on with the story. We can’t really fault the director for not highlighting the KO, having the camera linger on the unconscious subject, etc.. Why would they? It can be frustrating, for sure, especially when they ALMOST get it right, but that’s just how it’s always going to be with stuff that isn’t sleepy-focused.

@Richard — Really appreciate your post. I get what you’re saying about how the choices that were made for this scene were better for the narrative, and served to create some real tension/suspense. Emphasizing the KO in this case would have undermined a lot of that. And there’s always hope for the future, I suppose!

Thanks, too, for the recommendations. Lots to investigate there, and all of the scenes you described sound pretty good. Cheers!

  • Oct. 23, 2012 at 7:35 am

@Kent Robinson – I can see an advantage of covering her arms, it emphasizes her legs more which for Bluebird’s build is a canny choice. Also, lower neck line and more visible hips, all make for a more appropriate cut. My ideal costume for Ms. Yellowless would be the same shape and design but made of a more shiny or rubbery e.g. expensive looking material, like leather, harder to move in probably!

@NGC – Thanks, who will be starring in the episode then? Also I liked how Snare taunts Bluebird while strangling her, very creepy, is there any truth to it I wonder? More please!

  • Oct. 23, 2012 at 3:18 am

What can I say? A huge THANKS for this episode. Bluebird is by a long shot my favorite actress, and her boots are simply fabulous for a boot fan like me. Thanks to the director for the close-up shots on the boots both when she seeks her enemy and when she fights in distress. Thanks to the writer for having imagined a plot where our heroine fights so bravely but in the end succumbs to such a powerful villain (I am for KOs and defeated heroines demises.) Last but absolutely not least, hanks to Claire for being so beautiful and for her superb acting. There are other actresses who perform well in the fighting, but not like her, in my opinion, and in any case her vocal performances during the struggle are absolutely unique.
The best episode so far, in my opinion.

  • Oct. 22, 2012 at 8:41 pm

Well thanks for the broadly good comments. I really thought this was well acted and I threw some verbal unpleasantness in from Snare that we’ve not really done before (apart from with him). In the next few weeks you ought to see my efforts in finding imposing villains bear fruit.

ie: If you like imposing villains keep watching!

  • Oct. 22, 2012 at 6:30 pm

Claire Yellowlees is one of my favorite super heroine girls. I, too, liked the older costume better. Good rule of thumb: a new costume should never cover up more than the old costume did. After all, this is not a NOW chapter. This video was still pretty good, though, thanks to Claire’s general good looks, her acting ability, and her handling of some of the physical stunts.

  • Oct. 22, 2012 at 1:42 pm

@Ion – I don’t want to ruin the ending for anyone so I’ll put a spoilers warning as I attempt to answer your question.

Bluebird is not just close to KO, she is close to DEATH – that’s the whole point of the climax, she is basically totally at the mercy of the villain and her powers fail to save her while she is being strangled to death on the floor. BUT something occurs right at the last minute which does save her, and I won’t reveal what that is, but the way its shown means for a few seconds we are unsure if he succeeded in killing her. I’m guessing that’s why you never see her “definitively” KO’d in the sort of way you would probably like.

Personally while I like KOs as much as the next guy I appreciate what NGC were trying to do in making more of a horror feel, and I did start to wonder if it was really the end of Bluebird. I’m very happy that she survives and I’m sure that’s no secret, so perhaps we will see a more “definitive KO” in the future.

As for other videos like what you’re after, maybe Season 2 Episode 1 counts. Bluebird gets drugged and carried off as she loses consciousness, then tied to a chair still semi conscious. Episode 4 has Celestia getting KO’d by Sebastian Luner and held up with her own weapon as she goes limp. Side Mission 4 has Athena getting knocked out with the kick the face and she is on the floor for a while before coming to quite slowly, maybe you would like that. There are some other minor KOs in other vids plus some in the Fail Safe Sisters films, like the last Lady Victory one which has multiple KOs and a nice slow groggy exit after the credits.

  • Oct. 22, 2012 at 1:18 pm

Hey Ion, you and I seem to be cut from the same cloth. Were KO guys. In this vid, you see Bluebird being choked and choked, her eyes starting to roll up further and further and further into her head, and just when she looks like shes gonna pass out….it cuts to the bad guy. And you dont see her again until she wakes up a little later. And even thats just a quick little wake up, with the focus squarely on her face.

  • Oct. 22, 2012 at 12:56 pm

I’m a little confused by some of the comments here. There are numerous references to a BlueBird KO in this video, yet Mike A explicitly states that we don’t see her pass out. Does this mean that, while she does end up unconscious, the part where she actually loses consciousness isn’t shown? Or is she never truly unconscious in the video? Can anyone clarify?

As a “KO guy” first, and a superheroine fan second, I understand that NGC’s videos aren’t made specifically for me. Still, I highly respect their work in this genre. The production values, costumes, and choreography are all top-notch. And it’s because of this level of quality that I always skim through the comments here when they release a new video, to see if there’s any mention of a KO. I don’t expect a lot of knockouts, and I certainly wouldn’t demand them (that would sort of be like going to a Chinese restaurant and being angry when they don’t have lasagna on the menu), but it’s nice when it happens.

Anyway, I’ve noticed recently that there seems to be some confusion (even contention) over what constitutes a KO, or what makes up a “definitive KO”. I expect this is slightly different for everyone, but at least for me, a proper and satisfying knockout would include:

    1. Decent view of the heroine’s face as she loses consciousness (not necessarily a close-up, just not obscured or from behind, etc.).
    2. Heroine’s eyes closed and her body limp for at least some notable duration, so we have the sense that she’s actually unconscious, not just momentarily dazed or stunned.
    3. Any sort of a manipulation of the heroine in this state (carrying, rolling her over, etc.) is icing on the cake.
    4. For many, I believe the “wake-up” or groggy state that follows is also important (not hugely so for me).

Again, I don’t mention these things because I expect NGC to start incorporating them heavily into their videos. KOs and sleepy peril are not their focus, and I respect that. I just know I’ve been confused by conflicting comments on here in the past (as is the case with this video), and thought maybe some clarification would help. As a “KO guy”, when I see someone mention a knockout, this is what I’m envisioning/hoping for.

Finally, with all of that said, if anyone has an NGC video that they’d recommend based on what I’ve detailed, I’d love to hear about it! I purchased the chloroform training video from last season (with BB and Angel) and was quite happy with it. It didn’t get all of the details right, exactly, but the heroines were great, the concept was fun, and the overall quality was superb.

  • Oct. 22, 2012 at 9:06 am

Okay, I know I’ve been critical of NGC lately. But in truth these guys are my favorite company out there. Not only that, but I really liked this video. The key was I went into it fully expecting BlueBird to escape. I used to root for the heroine to suffer a totally one-sided defeat, then a devastating KO, finally being tossed over the villain’s shoulder and then carried out of the scene. But now I’ve pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I’m just never going to get that out of NGC.

So now I just hope for at least a decent KO and the villain to control the majority of the fight. I got that here. I think Snare has much improved since we last saw him. I hate to say it, but one of the keys is his pants. It was hard to buy into a villain wearing skinny jeans.

I’ve never been a “BlueBird is the greatest thing since sliced bread” guy, but clearly Claire is getting hotter every video. She looks great here. She is very sexy, very talented in all aspects of the action and acting. Which brings me to my only complaint, and it’s a minor one.

Claire is a good enough actress that I don’t need the voice over to tell me what she’s thinking. I think that technique should be reserved for when the actor or actress isn’t able to carry off conveying to us what is going on without it. In this case everything BlueBird said in her head she had already conveyed with her facial expressions and body language. If I may suggest saving that technique for when either there is a difficult plot point that can’t be conveyed otherwise, or when the actress or actor isn’t talented enough to convey it another way. Just my 2 cents.

Anyway, overall, I think NGC is getting better and better. I have dialed back my expectations. And I really enjoyed this film. I love that NGC keeps trying to improve things. Better villain, better Bluebird, better twist at the end.

Congratulations NGC, on another great effort.

  • Oct. 22, 2012 at 6:20 am

@Mark – I’m pleased you enjoyed it, you seem to understand most of the choices we made.

@Beast – Horses for courses, I’m pleased the KO was one you enjoyed.

@Richard – Yes that’s what I thought as well with the choke. This one was reminiscent of season one as Red Mist were placing an operative directly against the Elite Force member that their powers can kill.

The next thing will be an episode, though I may throw in a members only film in between.

  • Oct. 22, 2012 at 6:15 am

@Fabio – I think Beast said it best, it was powerful to see all BB’s winds getting used up during the choke. At first it was exciting, I thought “yeah, second wind will save her” and then when it didn’t I was like “oh shit, that’s not good”. Then of course third wind kicks in and you think “surely she’ll fight back now”, but it still isn’t enough and soon she’s totally at his mercy and you can see the panic setting in, which was a very charged moment. If he’d wore her down gradually I think it might have had less of an “oooh shit” feeling to it, which for me was the most thrilling part of the mission.

@NGC – The old costume had it’s perks but I prefer the new one now, it took me a while though so maybe others will come around over time. The cut is far more flattering on the hips/butt and I love the big wings spread over her chest, very sexy and heroic. It doesn’t need changing IMHO. Am I right in thinking the ‘special guest’ is up next, or more FSS?

  • Oct. 21, 2012 at 4:34 pm

I love the episode! i love the bluebird costume ( please no belt) and i love that fantastic ko scene. Seeing the bluebird power not being enough was a powerful moment.
About the costumes what i dont like too much is the angel new outfit. Its a little too much ( in the neck mainly) and the old one makes her look better being more simple.
    Sorry for my english…

  • Oct. 21, 2012 at 3:15 pm

@Richard – apologies about that but as this was (in my eyes anyway) such a fantastic release, I’m sure most people won’t mind reiterating what I said lol!

  • Oct. 21, 2012 at 12:56 pm

Awesome side mission, I came here to sing it’s praises but looks like Mark beat me to it! It bears repeating however that Claire Yellowlees is one of the best actresses working in the genre right now, she’s the total package and as others have said she looks stunning here, more alluring than ever before. Did we see a lot of her walking around? Yes but by god was it sexy walking! And to whoever said about a lack of leg and ass angles, did we see the same film? Anyway the fights were some of the best I’ve seen from NGC and all the moves were sold to perfection by both actors. The plot twist was cool but, for me the strangulation was worth the low asking price alone – thrilling, shocking and suspenseful!

  • Oct. 21, 2012 at 12:55 pm

Some interesting comments, I can’t really understand the one about not showing her legs etc.. there is a lot of that. The creeping and hide and seek bits were all about trying to make something in more of a horror style because I want to at least attempt some different shooting concepts to avoid repetition. I love the costume, sorry if people dont, elements of the old one were good, but the cut wasn’t and it was pretty cheap. As for definitive KOs… I’ve got another members only film in the pipeline that has one, her eyes are closed and she’s unconscious, I hope that will count.

  • Oct. 21, 2012 at 11:32 am

Great story progression, great acting, pretty much everything was great except for one huge blaring flaw: WE DIDNT GET TO SEE HER ACTUALLY PASS OUT. Ive been waiting for that definitive Bluebird ko for some time, and this vid almost delivered it, but then you cut away right when she was about to close her eyes and go limp. I mean, really?!

Please, im begging you NGC, knock this heroine out cold for once. Or any heroine for that matter. Bluebird and Angel are my tops for this treatment. And I know im not the only one.

  • Oct. 21, 2012 at 11:07 am

Well, I absolutely LOVE this new release! I love that it features the insanely talented and beautiful Claire Yellowlees! I love how the tension is built up slowly at the beginning, assisted with the clever use of camera angles (which may I add also show off the fine figure of the gorgeous Miss Yellowlees), then ratcheted up several notches with the ‘hit and run’ attacks. I love how the music is once again utilised with great effect to also create the atmosphere. I love how the storyline progresses right up until the amazing ‘double – ending’. I love how incredibly Miss Yellowlees sells the choking – perfection! I love that the cuts between facial and full body shots during this are also perfection, which ensures that the amazing selling of Miss Yellowlees is shown to its true extent. I love how the ‘voice – over’ (made ‘complete’ during the choking scene by the acting talent of Miss Yellowlees) is also used extremely cleverly to convey the action perfectly. And then there’s the twist at the end!

The only negative for me is that I’m not still the biggest fan of the Bluebird outfit but like AlyAdmirer, I’ve kind of grown to ‘accept’ it!

And with the longer running time used to go effect, it kind of almost feels like an Episode, but at the great price of a Side Mission! So, all in all though, a wonderful and fantastic bit of work once again. Roll on the next release with Bluebird, and the next release without her too, such is the quality of the work from NGC at the moment – everything seems a winner!

  • Oct. 21, 2012 at 10:43 am

I have mixed feelings on this. It’s a value for 10 bucks, but as far as the video itself. I’ve never been a OMG Bluebird is just the best thing ever person so the first five minutes were just a waste to me. No story, no peril just Bluebird walking around. Which again is great if you’re a huge bluebird fan.

Once the video actually started the fight scenes were well done, and Snare is still a unique and interesting villain. Bluebird sells the peril very well, and she really sells the choke out if you’re a fan of those type of KOs. But at the end of the day between the beginning and the cat and mouse scenes probably half the video time is just Bluebird walking around. So as stated earlier I have mixed feelings on it, but it’s worth 10 bucks.

It was nice seeing Angel, it’s been quite some time. Hopefully she’ll get a full episode or a side mission soon. Preferably with a villain who is immune to her powers and provides a one sided video full of Angel in peril lol.

This is a great heroine adventure. No shame in Picking Claire Yellowlees as your favourite heroine. Regardless of her physical attributes, she can act, which is a quality I’m coming to appreciate more and more in this genre. Snare is an interesting villain and the fight between them is themically interesting (I enjoyed the hide and seek angle). The twist did nothing for me as, while I buy a fair bit of NGC output , I’m not up on the greater story so don’t know what the surprise means! But I did love this release.

Well, once again it seems that we all have wildly different things that we look for in these videos. A few guys above dislike her costume, but I think it looks great. Fabio (and a lot of other people on this website) dislike any kind of choke move, but they are my favorite. Season 2 Episode 5 was really the last time a choke was used to KO someone (Athena), so I really appreciated this video.

To be more specific about this vid, Claire once again proved that she is my favorite actress for a reason. The way she sold the KO was perfect, the eyerolls that she did were really well done. For only 10 dollars, I thought this was a steal, to be honest.

So NGC, thanks for this one, I loved it. Its unfortunate that not everyone is going to like it, but different strokes for different folks, I guess. Take care.

No belt please. Bluebird’s new costume is perfect if you ask me, It really shows off her beautiful body. A belt would just hide it. I hate belts on heroines lol. Plus its not like she has pants that she needs to hold up anyways. Just wanna voice that becuase I fear NGC will change the perfect costume up because people complain about it, and Id hate to see that.

I was expecting more from this video to be honest. Maybe its because choking just bores me or because the little preview just lifted my expectations through the roof, but I was actually disappointed. Snare is my least favorite villain. So boring even with his ropes. And I swear it just seems like he would struggle in an arm wrestling match against a 9 year old. Thats just the vibe, or appearance or whatever you wanna call it that I get from him. I like the additions of chains wrapped around his knuckles but WOW, He only uses them for like 5 seconds doesnt he?! He could have done some serious damage with them, thats what I was hoping for, cracked some ribs, bruised some abs, force Bluebird to use her powers by having to heal them after they’ve taken so much damage, something like that. But no, the chains didnt even need to be included for what happened. To me there was too much hide and seek going on and less action. I thought it was so awesome when I read that there was 5 extra minutes for the same low price, but when I watched the video I noticed about 5 minutes were already burned in the beginning with Bluebird lurking around slowly trying to find the voice that’s taunting her. I liked how he popped up threw some hits and vanished but the hiding part just took too much time, it annoyed me. Another thing that annoyed me was how Bluebird goes through her winds one right after the other during the same choke move. ONE MOVE, takes all her winds, I didnt like that. I see how it makes sense that thats why he was chosen, but I expected maybe he ties her hands or traps her with the rope around her waist or something and just lets her have it, but sadly she goes through 3 winds in the same move. Just like that. That was probably my biggest problem with this video.

    *******POSSIBLE SPOILER+++++++

Now the ending was cool but I think I would’ve ended up liking this episode if there was a second fight. Ending it on a high note instead of Snare choking himself. (lol) I hope Im not disappointed again in the next episode, especially if it features the surprise guest. I hate to sound like a dick, but this video just didnt do it for me, even with Bluebird who looks sexier than ever. Not even kidding about that either. But NGC I am still a loyal fan and like always I am wondering what’s to come next? Always interested.

Is angel going to be making an appearance in the future?
its been quite sometime, just curious even if its not that soon.
P.s she looks fine without the belt, and really who cares.

By this point, I’ve come to “accept” the current Bluebird costume. It’ll never hold a candle to the original in my heart, but I can at least view her appearances without hearing a Nancy Kerrigan voice in my head wailing, “WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYY…?” :)

Having said that, I want to second Redmountain’s suggestion. I think if it had a belt–or a sash, like the original had–that would help it work better for me.

Now the video itself… I bloody loved! I’d been dreaming of a Bluebird-Snare encounter since Snare’s introduction, and this every bit lived up to my expectations. I liked his performance better here than in his debut, and Claire is… well, Claire. Even if Sidekick won’t say it, I will: there are others I like… even like very much… but for my money, there’s no one in this genre hotter or better than Claire Yellowlees.

My one suggestion for any subsequent Snare appearances: it hit me when he used the glove that that’s something his lashes should be able to do. Unless it’s a case of not feeling the effect can be done convincingly enough, that is…

My favorite video was the Shadowstar video when she was frozen. Question…Will we ever see one of these heroines in costume with bare legs and no nylons?? That would be amazing!!

I’m a huge Bluebird fan and this one looks very well done, but I also have costume issues; I much preferred the previous, with bare arms.

Enjoyed the vid, just have a few nitpicks with Bluebird’s new costume. I like the costume but it needs a few things to sharpen it up a bit. She needs a belt, even if it’s just a little leather belt with a buckle, something silver to match the accents on her costume. Also would like to see her have silver boots to match as well, as the boots while sexy, do not really go with her costume that well.

Only other gripe is that the first 5-6 minutes of the video is just Bluebird walking around the building. While we do get some nice shots of her, it’s normally a frontal or back shot from waist up. If you’re going to spend that long of a time setting up the story at least give us some shots of Bluebird’s fabulous legs and backside and shoot from a few more angles.

Other than that this was very enjoyable, including the surprise at the end. Lots of punches and hits that Bluebird takes like a champ.
