“Still a Rookie” and “Cyrus Aftermath” from Heroine Legends

by Sidekick

HL Still a Rookie 175x98 Still a Rookie and Cyrus Aftermath from Heroine LegendsHeroine Legends has released two new films just in time for the holidays—Still a Rookie, featuring a battle between Heather Sims and Tiffany Chase, and Cyrus Aftermath featuring Kristin Ige. Check out more information below, including trailers and reviews for both releases.

Still a Rookie

This film features Heather Sims and Tiffany Chase, two of HL’s newest and most popular actresses. Tiffany plays Trinity who enters a building, picks up a crowbar, and decides to showcase her strength and bend it. However, Dark Vega played by Heather watches nearby and isn’t all that impressed and bends a crowbar of her own.

Next, the ladies interlock their fingers over a crowbar and it’s quickly obvious that Dark Vega is the stronger of the two. Much stronger. She overpowers Trinity and knocks her to the ground. Dark Vega allows Trinity to stand and she hits DV with four punches, none that come even close to hurting the villainess.

Trinity attempts another punch, but DV catches it and crushes Trinity’s hand. DV then rams the crowbar into Trinity’s stomach and grinds it in. DV hits some more shots and throws Trinity to the ground. Trinity lands one blow that allows her to get to her feet, but DV gains control right back. She gets a hold of Trinity and starts breaking bones. Literally. She wrenches Trinity’s wrist and then snaps several fingers on her hand.

DV then picks her up and drops her in a backbreaker. She picks her up again, squeezes her chest cavity, freezes her entire body with her super breath, and breaks her neck. Merry Christmas, Trinity! DV then picks her up over her shoulder and carries her off. Where the heck is Dark Vega taking a dead Trinity? I probably don’t want to know.

This is one for fans of beatdowns, as Trinity is destroyed throughout the entire film. Has anyone taken more recent beatings on film than Tiffany Chase? I think only Kristina Hess has had her ass kicked more than Tiffany. But she sells is so well, so why not?

Cyrus Aftermath

This film stars Mario Rocha, Kristin Ige, and the black bikini that Kristin Ige should pretty much wear every single day of her life.

We find Celestia tied up, her arms over her head and hanging from the ceiling. Her nemesis Tony wakes her up with a punch to the stomach. Tony takes his time and decides what his instrument of torture is going to be. He chooses a small whip which he flogs Celestia with all over her body, but mostly in her back and stomach. He also hits a low blow from behind. And to clarify, there are no scratches and no blood drawn from the whipping. I know that’s a thing for some of you.

But Tony gets a little too cocky and too close as Celestia goes all “Tyson” to Tony’s “Holyfield” and bites his ear. In response, Tony grabs a taser and jams it into Celestia’s stomach, back, and sides several times. But Celestia hits Tony with a headbutt and knocks him backward with a kick. She breaks free of her bonds and after a short exchange, knocks Tony out.

We almost never mention the men of Heroine Legends and nobody is at fault more than me. Mario Rocha is a tremendously talented person, and always entertaining in the films he appears in. And I’ve pretty much run out of good adjectives to describe Kristin Ige. She’s just about as beautiful a girl as we cover and has a whole lot of talent backing up that beauty.

$25 for 12 minutes?! Isn’t that a bit steep?

How much of the 12 minutes is intro or end credits?

2 dkm December 23, 2013 at 8:47 am

Yeah that’s kinda high … unless the justification is that it’s high because it has the death ending. If that’s the case, I’m ok with paying the extra if the implication is that Logan would make more like that.

3 Spandex Fiend December 23, 2013 at 8:55 am

It says 25 for the photo set AND the video. The video itself is 19. jsyk

4 Mike J December 23, 2013 at 9:13 am

I’ll buy pretty much anything with Tiffany Chase as Trinity, I just love that outfit on her. But I think the review is misleading. This is not a beat down vid. She doesn’t get pummeled or take a ton of non stop punishment. The recent video with Thundra was far more of a beat down.

Don’t get me wrong, this is a good video, but don’t go in expecting a one sided beat down vid where Trinity takes a ton of non stop abuse because you’ll be disappointed.

I also like the fact that there has been less of the slow mo action in the past two videos I purchased because I really wasn’t a fan of it at all.

5 dkm December 23, 2013 at 9:25 am

For whatever it’s worth, I hope when Thundra loses against Sapphire that it has a beatdown and a death ending. Instant buy for me.

I was VERY pleased with Cyrus Aftermath since it was my custom. Kristin/Celestia was amazing on both the AOH peril and fight scenes (including the headbutts and kicks she lands while still tied up), all made that much better with the jawdropping bikini top and leather shorts outfit! As Sidekick mentioned, Mario Rocha’s Tony is a great villain due to his intensity and fighting ability (he’s one of Logan’s stunt guys), and I’m glad he was able to be part of this. I know others may have different opinions but I think Kristin/Celestia brings the best combo of looks, fighting ability (especially), and acting among Logan’s cast right now.

<<It says 25 for the photo set AND the video. The video itself is 19

I wasn't aware you could buy the movie on it's own. The photo sets are of no interest to me. I thought you had to buy them as well if you wanted the movie.

8 dkm December 23, 2013 at 10:33 am

Ah, $19 is much, much easier to swallow for these videos

9 The Superheroines December 23, 2013 at 12:12 pm

Hey everyone! I’m glad the videos are doing well! We’ve definitely revamped a bunch of things and the actresses have gone through training for this to bring you the best possible performances!

As far as pricing goes, the Photo Sets have a general pricing structure which obviously affects the bundle prices… the more photos or there are in the set or the more risqué the photos are, the price reflects.

@nemesis 9, @dkm, @Lake: that price is for the Bundle as others have noted… You can always buy the film solo which many do… the product pages all have drop-down menus that show the options we have for any given film :)

@MAV: customs are very important to us since they connect with fans directly so we’re happy we got you a product you enjoy! Both actors here are terrific and its always a pleasure sewing what they will add to the performance and witness the improv pieces that are thrown in!

We will continue with fatalities moving forward for non-cannon films because there is an audience for it and they’re fun to do! As some have mentioned, Still a Rookie isn’t really a breakdown film, but what Sidekick was referring to was the obviousness that Dark Vega controlled the fight the entire time. Which it’s pretty much a one-aided scenario either way ;)

I’ve had some feedback about the site itself which is going through a lot of trial and error right now as I try new things out. Some things work well, some are annoying… I appreciate the feedback because it helps me get things in place more quickly. For me, everything is about the user experience :)

For those who didn’t already pick it up, The Demon Within [2] is $10 of right now as is the saga to match… this is part of our returning featured film section which appears as a bar at the bottom of the page. If you close out the green sale bar, you’ll see it. I’ve had people tell me they don’t like that green bar, but it’s there to offer discounts. Let me knew what you think!

10 dkm December 23, 2013 at 12:17 pm

@Logan,

If I can make a suggestion: Is it possible to make an area on the product page where the customer could highlight it or click on it that would reveal the ending. It’d be awesome if you had something for Icy Duel (as an example) that could be clicked on that says “Heroine frozen, pushed to the ground, shatters into a thousand pieces”. I have no idea if that’s how it ends, but you get the idea. I think that’d save a lot of us some time and speed up the purchasing process because then we wouldn’t have to come here and be like, “Gee I sure hope Thundra dies at the end. Anyone know if she does?”

P.S. This is what I do for a living. Happy to make suggestions if you let me know your email.

11 The Superheroines December 23, 2013 at 12:20 pm

@dkm: that actually is the end of Icy Duel ;)

I guess the question is: does anyone NOT want to know how it ends before buying it? Because then I don’t need to make it a secret area…

Tiffany Chase is instant buy for me. I will buy Cyrus for sure too: Kristin Ige + black bikini + belly punches = best video ever

13 SCSF December 23, 2013 at 1:44 pm

@MAV and Sidekick,

It is no secret that I am also a huge fan of Kristin, all of her talents and that wet look bikini. Since I commissioned the shorts and bikini, you are welcome by the way! I am glad you like them as much as I do and feel free to write Logan and ask him to make me an unpaid wardrobe selection intern. ;-) What did you think of her new white costume? I had no role in it, but think it is really sexy too!

@Logan, I like the new site. Great to have things all in one place rather than linking. I miss the way you posted screen grabs for pending projects right away. I love those and that’s why I like Cyrus so much. What fun we had this summer!

14 The Superheroines December 23, 2013 at 1:50 pm

@SCSF: We’ll get back to that… we spent a lot of time working on the existing products so you guys could see them. There are so many projects pending right now that it would be like redoing the site a 32675th time to get the screen captures up for the ones that haven’t been released yet. BUT we will get to it in January… just have a lot going on right now. (Plus we’re supposed to be on hiatus lol) – for anyone interested in 00Angels, the 1st season is being written by one of my screenwriters now so we’re excited to jump into that – we’re also getting Tiffany Chase’s “Katara” costume made and my deadpool-inspired one as well…. plus the Neomega is done and will be released when I return – and Girls of X is in post-production – we’re getting the next few girls some costumes and beginning that PLUS we have the next few Super vs Evil films lined up! :)

Logan

15 SCSF December 23, 2013 at 1:50 pm

BTW, since it’s a good time of year to give thanks, I want to thank Logan and the entire team for their attention to detail and focus on finding out what we want to see. And a HUGE thanks to all the smoking hot, talented actresses who go to a drafty warehouse, wiggle into the tightest, tiniest, shiniest costumes we can dream up and work all day to make this magic happen. :-)

16 Maar13 December 23, 2013 at 3:07 pm

@Logan:

One thing: What is a non cannon film?

And about the endings, I am kind of torn because while most of the time I want to be surprised, sometimes you want to lnow everything, is there a ko? how is it? on who? Is there Death?

I guess those are questions everyone wants to know before hand.

I for one, don’t like death scenes, but have gotten some videos with them because of the fights and the actresses, like “Still a rookie” or a “A Hunter squarrel”.

I guess some endure the same when they don’t like Kos and get some movies with them, still my point was that even if I don’t like some elements a lot do, I keep coming because I like the rest of the elements, the girls, and the little background they present.

My suggestion would be that on the “Alternate” films maybe knowing tye endingnwouod be good, but not innthe season ones or Agent files ones.

17 Maar13 December 23, 2013 at 3:27 pm

And yes, so much for being on hiatus! Get some rest man!

18 MAV December 23, 2013 at 7:06 pm

@SCSF-great work on the wardrobe suggestion for Celestia that we are all loving since Cyrus. Can’t wait to see her in that outfit again for Tied and Delivered. As I mentioned on the site, I think she looks great in the new white outfit too.

@Logan-rest up for the holidays man!

19 SCSF December 23, 2013 at 7:56 pm

@MAV, Glad you liked the shorts and wet look costumes. I like her white costume too. Pretty sure you’ll enjoy Tied and Delivered too! ;-)

@Logan, I hope you get some rest. :-)

20 M December 23, 2013 at 8:09 pm

In still a rookie, does she take any shots to the groin?

21 TheSuperheroines December 24, 2013 at 3:47 pm

Hey All,

We are jumping back into figuring out the photoshoot for our Calendars, autographs etc and I had a quick question to our fans:

By the time we do the shoot and get the calendars made and ready for sale, we are thinking it will be mid-late spring. My question is, how would you prefer we do our calendars?

1. Do an 18 month calendar OR
2. Do a 6 month to finish out 2014 and then a 12-month for 2015

Also, I was thinking of doing a Heroine Legends Calendar and then a Super vs Evil Calendar separately. I’m thinking we won’t have all characters completed for Girls of X, The Neomega, Katana and 00Angels at that point yet to create standalone calendars for those series. Thoughts?

Thanks again for staying in touch with us and helping us grow each and every day. Happy Holidays to all!!!

~Kristina

22 SCSF December 25, 2013 at 3:59 am

Hi Kristina,

Happy holidays! Calendars sound fun. Are there going to be posed pics or pics from films (or both)? I can’t decide if I’d rather see you as the Black Queen or Thorne for HL…

My two cents is to do an 18 month calendar and do separate ones for HL and SvsE. I’m looking forward to seeing costumes for some of the other SvsE actresses too!!
:-)

23 GB December 26, 2013 at 10:17 am

Can someone let me know which video has Tiffany Chase getting the biggest beatdown? Thanks!

24 The Superheroines December 27, 2013 at 5:19 pm

@SCSF – Sorry for the delay – we were off-grid for the Holiday. I believe we are aiming to have posed pics – like pin-up style with some of the main HL Cast as well as some SVE cast. I’m not sure which one Logan will have me pose as…maybe both ;)

@GB – I would say it’s between HL “Malek’s Intentions” (where she is tied to a chair then heated with a stick/pipe and wrestling moves – KOed at end), HL “Your Soul is Mine” (where I get to beat her up and whip her, KO as well), H: “Still A Rookie” (she shows some strength, but Dark Vega quickly gets the upper hand breaking her bones and snapping her neck KO), or SVE “Enter the Shadows” (she is winning the beginning, but she is badly beaten at the end).

Basically, we LOVE beating up Tiffany – poor gal! lol!

~Kristina

25 Maar13 December 27, 2013 at 7:12 pm

@Kristina: Please let it be as the 3 of your characters: BQ, Thorne and Talon.

As far as Tiffany goes, I hope one day she wins at least once…but I don’t believe that will happen :P Still, she looks hot on defeat :)

26 OldBear December 27, 2013 at 8:02 pm

Quick question about ‘Still a Rookie’. Does Trinity fall to the ground after the neck snap or is she immediately picked up into the over the shoulder carry?

Thanks.

27 Blx December 27, 2013 at 8:06 pm

@Oldbear, picked up OTS.

28 OldBear December 27, 2013 at 10:26 pm

@Blx: Thanks for the quick reply. Take care.

29 GB December 28, 2013 at 1:11 pm

Great thanks I guess I will be buying all of those :)

30 SCSF December 28, 2013 at 2:43 pm

Hi Kristina,

Thanks for the update! Glad you got a few days away, even if the break was brief. I hope you are in both outfits – so hard to choose! BTW, you did an amazing job in Tied to the Power earlier in 2013!! :-)

31 The Superheroines December 28, 2013 at 3:40 pm

@SCSF – Aww Thanks!! Wasn’t sure if you remembered I was in it since Kristin got all the love and attention ;) lol jk!

EVERYONE,

I wanted to ask a quick question. I am a total Vampires & Demons dork and have been nagging at Logan to do a series with them, but we aren’t sure if there is a following like there is for the Superheroines. Any feedback? Is this something you guys would want to watch/see (including a LOT of the same elements as our current series)? If not, do you guys have any suggestions on types of forums or locations where I could ask around and post? If I get enough feedback maybe Logan will let me start a sexy Vampire series… ;)

~Kristina

32 Spandex Fiend December 28, 2013 at 4:31 pm

You could do a superheroine series with vampires and demons, happens all the time in comic books. Or else go the “Buffy” route with some kind of something along those lines…with original characters and setup of course.

I guess better feedback would require more of a “what were you thinking?” question.

33 The Superheroines December 28, 2013 at 4:33 pm

@Spandex Fiend: I know exactly what she’s thinking. Twilight meets Fallen Angels meets Demon Creatures… she wants a story and she wants those epic battles… a contrast from the Superheroine stuff we’ve been doing… ever since I created 00Angels & Girls of X, her mind has gone to her Hobbit-loving fantasyland… and I told her that if she wants it, she has to convince YOU guys to let her have it lol

Logan

34 The Superheroines December 28, 2013 at 4:35 pm

@Spandex Fiend – Thanks for the feedback and I agree that I should maybe explain a little of what I was thinking lol!

My idea was to have a main girl (heroine-per-say like a Buffy) who has the demons and some fallen angels after her as well as Vampires, but there are good in each of the species as well that are protecting her (can’t tell you why bc that would ruin the storyline ;). You would have superhuman strength with the vampires with their obvious weaknesses, fallen angles and masters of weapons and spells, demons are just pure evil pretty much with cunning nature. I think the dynamic could be cool ;)

Is this something you all would enjoy watching? Or does it fall too far from the “Superheroine genre”?

~Kristina

35 Warfish December 28, 2013 at 6:32 pm

Hi Kristina, Hi Logan,

First, just wanted to say congrats on your work to date – I only started watching your stuff with Hawke’s Revenge, but I’ve been playing catch up ever since.

To add my two – penneth, I think the “Buffy” idea is great. There was the Paris Kennedy series “Slayer Paris” that ran for a good 10 episodes or so, and Alex Bettinger (I think?) released The Gatecrasher last week, so there does seem to be a market for films with a supernatural angle.

The Buffy type stories I personally love – a relativily superpowered but otherwise broadly normal woman battling forces of darkness is a great anchor to build a story around I feel.

The main problem I could see you encountering though, is the problem that seems to affect many film makers who produce films for consumption by the people who frequent this website (including myself!) – how would you end each episode?

Personally, I’m unlikely to buy a film reviewed or advertised here if I know the heroine wins. Not the best thing to admit I guess (makes me seem a bit weird) but there you go, that’s what I come here for. So a series that only has one or two characters, might perhaps struggle without the peril element – there can’t really be any peril in these circumstances, because the nature of these films means that, should “Buffy” lose, then series over – the demons will kill her, the vampire will drink her blood. So we as an audience know she has to win in the end to progress the series, therefore removing the peril – and I guess most of the people using this site are here for the peril stories (I am, anyway).

So if, as it sounds, you are intending to make a series of this idea, perhaps you could consider producing “alternative universe” shorts, as you have with Heroine Legends recently, where the heroine loses, or perhaps alternative endings, to go along with the main series?

I always planned to write a script for a Buffy style character with a kind of immortality where she would be reborn, back home, 24 hours after each time she was killed in battle – so most episodes would have a fair amount of peril, but the series could progress with the same character – still waiting for a producer to option it, haha. :-)

Apologies for the length of this post, and apologies to my fellow users of this site for presuming to speak on your behalf, but hope it’s helpful.

Good Luck!

36 Raiderman December 28, 2013 at 9:33 pm

@ Kristina, Logan, You guys have been on role with all your new ideals and have no doubt the vampire/demon would work as I for one would like to see, in particular Kristina as the Buffy type and being put in peril situations. Sorry Kristina I just don’t get to see you on the losing end enough. As mentioned by Warfish and I agree I mainly purchase too see the heroine lose, however with this storyline or any other for that matter you could have the heroine take a beatdown (ko) and put in a peril situation but in the end come out on top. I would also like to see a western storyline with barroom brawl, Gunfight duel. Love a women with tight fitting jeans and cowboy boots anybody else interested in seeing this kind of video? As always you guys rock!

37 SCSF December 28, 2013 at 9:42 pm

@Kristina, How could I forget you were a part of that film after that epic fight scene?? You guys were amazing!!

Don’t let the fact that I am a huge fan of Kristin’s fool you…there’s plenty of love and attention to go around! :-) After seeing that fight chemistry from Tied to the Power I am hoping you two tangle again very soon. ;-)

38 OldBear December 29, 2013 at 9:00 am

A vampire/demon slayer series sounds like it would be awesome. Not sure if that was the angle you were going for, but I was always a fan of things like Buffy, where you have a female “chosen one” type character.

Naturally, with things like Buffy, she usually comes out on the winning end of things. It wouldn’t make much sense for your main character to lose and get sucked dry after the first episode of a season, lol. That is what makes projects like this so intriguing. We get to see things that would never happen on shows like Buffy.

Once again, I am going to sound like a broken record, but I would go with the alt ending scenarios. This way your slayer character can win most of the time in the legit endings, which she probably should….why would she be the chosen one if she gets her ass beat in every fight? lol

The alt endings would also let you get a little more risque with your “bad” endings. The slayer loses to a male/female vamp? She gets sucked dry or whatever other brutal finishing moves you guys can come up with.

So yeah, definitely interested in a series like this. Also, in reply to Raiderman about the western scenario, I am also a fan of that. A sexy cowgirl type character in a fight to the finish vs a female indian would be awesome. But I guess we are getting a little ahead of ourselves here, lol.

Take care.

39 The Superheroines December 29, 2013 at 5:01 pm

@ Warfish, @Raiderman & @OldBear – LOVE the feedback! Seems my taste isn’t far off from yours in this! The main character would be “the chosen one” and will for sure have abilities that allow her to “lose” and win. I’m toying with a few ideas – but I don’t want to give away any cool details just yet! I’m still trying to figure out the storyline with Logan (who still isn’t convinced my idea will work just yet lol) – but I am pushing for a GO!

It probably won’t be for another few months anyway as we are about to release the first Episode of “The Neomega”, waiting on final edit for “Girls of X” and are prepping for “00Angels” & “Untitled Katara Series”. But, I’d love more input if anyone has any. I started a thread on “Heroine Chat” for those of you who would like to discuss further, I want to make sure I’m not overstepping on this forum talking about Vampires/Demons :)

THANKS EVERYONE and let’s continue this convo on Heroine Chat!
