Updated with review! Amazing Girl features Cali Logan as the titular superheroine, whose powers remain somewhat mysterious to me even after watching the movie, but who looks as good as just about any superheroine in any video. I didn’t enjoy Amazing Girl quite as much as Liberty Girl – The Return, but it’s still a fun superheroine adventure. [Read more…]

SHG-Media’s new, highly anticipated Liberty Girl – The Return has been released, and it’s already causing quite a stir (if the comments are any indication). It’s directed by bpd and stars Alex David, a long-time SHG regular, but this is quite a bit better than the usual SHG fare thanks to well choreographed fight scenes, good editing, and other qualities that set it apart from most other American-produced videos. Here’s a teaser for SHG-Media’s upcoming Liberty Girl: The Return. I’m looking forward to this because it’s directed by bpd, who brought us the excellent (in my opinion) Injustice Girl 2, as well as a few others that seemed pretty popular. The new video from SHG-Media, Justice Girl – The Prototype, features the latest adventures of Justice Girl, whom you may remember from her previous videos such as InJustice Girl and InJustice Girl 2. This installment of the Justice Girl series features a really simple story (much simpler than previous InJustice Girl films) and basically consists of a one-on-one battle between Justice Girl and a male opponent, followed by the torment of Justice Girl at the hands of the male villain. To make a long review short, InJustice Girl Part 2 is probably the best SHG-produced video that I’ve seen. I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed it. While some of the company’s past efforts have been rather lackluster in my opinion, the company seems to have stumbled upon a winning formula here. A few familiar technical flaws remain, but InJustice Girl Part 2 also features some genuinely clever filmmaking, a unique narrative structure, and a few pleasant surprises. [Read more…]

The new film from Superherogirls Media (SHG-Media) represents a change in direction for the company. From what I understand, the film was shot by a new director. As a result, Injustice Girl doesn’t feature many of the technical problems that have plagued the company’s previous heroine films. Just about every previous Relic Raider, Luna Crush, and Superherogirls film featured editing mistakes, choppy fight scenes, poor lighting, etc. While not technically perfect by any means, InJustice Girl is certainly an improvement and contains a very good extended AOH beat-down scene.
