Rye’s latest film takes an innovative concept (previously explored several years ago with the original How to Destroy a Superheroine starring Paris Kennedy), utilizes the talents of the beautiful model from previous Superiorgirl adventures, features a nice performance from the villainess (and lots of humor), and offers a really entertaining, if unusual, video for fans of superheroine domination. Though it resembles a video from The Battle for Earth (as a result from being shot on the same set), it’s actually a Punished Heroines offering and features lots of nudity and sexual torment. The performances are good, Superiorgirl looks beautiful as always, and if you’re into the self-referential concept, this is an enjoyable video with a comedic twist. [Read more…]
I’ve recently become aware of a very interesting new project in the works: Rye is creating a series of superheroine-themed comics which will be made available for purchase in two versions: 1) a standard series of comic panels, and 2) the comic panels plus audio, with voice actors performing the dialogue. I’ve attached some of Rye’s practice renders on this comic series below. What do you think? [Read more…]
Rye has just released a new Punished Heroines-style video featuring the return of Superiorgirl (played by the model from Rye’s Super Bad Date). This video is a Punished Heroines epic, clocking in at just under an hour, and lives up to the Punished Heroines name (with “punished” being the key word). If aggressive peril and sexually based content is what you’re looking for, you should check out The Shadow Strangler. Here are some images from the video and a story summary from Rye: [Read more…]
Remember when George Lucas went back to the classic Star Wars films twenty years after their release and added improved special effects and sound? Well, now Rye has taken a similar approach to a classic Punished Heroines film with Supergasm (which gets my vote for best title of the year). I remember seeing this heroine peril film several years ago, and I liked it back then, but this is an improved version with a few changes including a new voice-over by the same model who played the heroine in the original release. So on the one hand, it’s an interesting experiment, and on the other, it’s still an entertaining heroine peril film involving a Punished Heroines-style beatdown and sexual abuse of the lead superheroine. Punished Heroines has released a new Superiorgirl video involving a date gone horribly wrong for everyone’s favorite superheroine. The premise is pretty simple: Superiorgirl is on a date with a guy who seems fairly normal… until he slips Superiorgirl a drink with a curiously green hue. She drinks it, becomes weakened, and then you can imagine what happens next. Unlike Rye’s work with The Battle for Earth and SHG-Media, this is truly a return to the Punished Heroines style, with lots of physical and sexual abuse. [Read more…]
The first two episodes of WonderousGirl, produced by Rye and available at SHG-Media, are pretty violent and feature a lengthy beat-down of the title character for the majority of the running time. WonderousGirl is really in over her head here and receives an unbelievable amount of punishment from several villains. The episodes are similar in tone to Rye’s “New SuperiorGirl” videos (my reviews are here and here), but in my opinion, the first two episodes of WonderousGirl are better than the SuperiorGirl series. Here’s the trailer for the new WonderousGirl film from Punished Heroines and SHG-Media. Looks good to me! What do you guys think?
(Update: Sorry, everyone, but this trailer has been removed by YouTube. Please see the reviews here and here for more info.)
Avalon – Episode 2 is now available at SHG-Media in both standard and high-definition formats. This sequel to the original episode of Avalon features more action and much more peril. Avalon faces a variety of foes in this episode, and is almost always at a disadvantage—a fact her enemies take advantage of on multiple occasions. For those of you disappointed with the lack of action and/or peril in the original Avalon, I think this episode should provide more of what you’re looking for. Fans of a victorious heroine, however, might be happier with episode 1 (although episode 2 is still entertaining with Avalon getting a couple of chances to display her superiority).

SHG-Media has released Rye’s New Superior Girl 2, the sequel to the previous New Superior Girl adventure. Basically, if you liked that one (as I did), then you’ll find more to love in this sequel, which features even more of a beat-down of our poor heroine. This film definitely features a higher beating-to-exposition ratio than the previous New Superior Girl film, which should please fans of Rye’s Punished Heroines style.

Punished Heroines is back! In between episodes of his superheroine epic Avalon, Rye has produced New Superior Girl, starring the actress from Dark Robin vs. Freakmaster. Unlike that previous film, this is no evenly matched underground fighting contest. Superior Girl is basically manhandled almost the entire time and subjected to multiple punches, kicks, bear hugs, low blows, and other forms of torment. I’m a big fan of the actress in this film, and felt that Dark Robin didn’t really give her a chance to show her skills. This time, she is subjected to several minutes of Punished Heroines-style peril at the hands of the evil Gormak. All in all, I really liked this film and recommend it to fans of the genre, particularly those of you who enjoy Punished Heroines.
