Well I’m going to take the opposite position here and say that I quite enjoyed the film. Yes, the actual fighting elements may be a wee bit shorter than one would expect but on the other hand, I’ve brought countless films in which the fighting is very long but nothing really happens and I don’t really sense the heroine being in peril. In this case, the fighting is short but the peril is there. I especially love the submission/humiliation of bluebird. Having her beg for mercy to a rather comical villain was something that I’ve longed for for a while.… Read more »

I have to be honest, the video is a bit brief. I thought more would be done with the idea of Bluebird submitting, that she’d be humiliated more. Would love a vid that’s more focused on her submitting and following orders. The concept of the video is fine I just wish there was more content. It’s all kind of there in the trailer.

I also wish these videos were longer. 20 minutes at least. These are some of the best heroines out there and should be onscreen more.

There is no way to do more 20 minute videos than we currently do I’m afraid. So the choice is to continue doing short films as well or don’t do short films.

Bluebird is always going to be good, but if you take her out of this film, there isn’t anything else. The villain is ridiculous (again, I know he is suppose to be), but even his “power” and the way he wins makes no sense. Not only that, but the moves he does are so weak looking and not the slightest bit convincing. I just disliked everything about this. Honestly, I really like the initial idea of a weak villain taking down a strong heroine and humiliating her. Its one of my favorite scenarios in the superheroine peril genre, but this… Read more »

I think that what makes it so attractive is that the villsin winning is such ridiculous thing that when he starts doing so, it is a bit funny, even at thend. But to be honest I liked more the ending with Blubird winning, that one was cool.

The acting, script, and peril.(a bit of everything) however I do agree the villain is a bit to ridiculous for my personal likes

Other than Bluebird herself, what was amazing about the video?

Well this was disappointing…

If you’re on the fence about this one, don’t bother. If you really just want to see the peril elements, I’d suggest watching the trailer again because its pretty much all there.

It’s kind of not cool to tell people not to buy this guy’s hard work and back it up with two sentences. Elaborate, please.

Mainly because this video wasn’t “hard work.” They have put much more effort into some of their other films, but clearly they didn’t put much into this one. This is simply a video thrown together to put bluebird in peril, nothing more. If you only want to see BB roll her eyes and submit, then sure go ahead, buy it. But I’m telling you, its been done much better in her other films. This video is short, has a story that had no thought to it at all, and even the fighting in it is lame. BB lands a few… Read more »

I am really looking forward to this. That fact that the villain looks a bit amateurish and maybe even ridiculous only makes it better. The unexpected and spectacular downfall is the best superheroine theme in my opinion, and how on earth could Bluebird ever lose to him? It reminds me of the “a day of the life of a superheroine” where Bluebird, quite confident of an easy win, invited a camera team along for the apprehension of a crook, only to find herself beaten senseless, tied up and forced to hug a lit stick of dynamite with the fuse burning… Read more »

Looks amazing! So far looks like it will include everything we love in NGC! However, when ‘luquisto’ first hits bluebird in the trailer, is that a low blow or a leg hit? It looks more like a low blow

Looks like he rams his forearm towards her knees while he is on his knees.

It does seem a bit unfair to rag on the film after a 40 second trailer!

As Kained points out, NGC are one of the best producers and I have very rarely felt let down by one of their films.

I think you guys are great at catering to such a specific niche. The production values are always great, the premise and scenarios of the vids, the performances, like that amazing shot of Bluebird on her knees looking up “I submit Master”. I mean, we’re all spoiled, when ya think about it, so comments that say it isn’t good enough always kind of amuse me. You guys are one of the best around at this.

I know that this villain is suppose to be a joke and is someone who isn’t suppose to look intimidating, but at the same time his look is just too silly looking. It literally looks like he showed up to the shoot in his street clothes and the producer just put a mask on him. He just looks TOO weird and I am having a hard time looking past that. I really like the idea and the cocky, confident heroine getting bested by someone they should beat no problem is one of my favorite heroine peril scenarios, I just don’t… Read more »

I’m not really sure how to answer. There are several videos where she has no boots on because she is captive. Two that spring to mind are https://nextglobalcrisis.com/releases/season-2-side-mission-11/ and https://nextglobalcrisis.com/releases/season-3-side-mission-2/
