“Hubris!” A Luciafilms Custom Staring Mckenzie
Hurricane is one of the most powerful heroines earth has ever seen. She has felled countless foes in the name of justice and her own vendetta against evil. When the lair of a retired supervillain, indeed one of the greatest supervillains of all time is discovered… she makes it her personal quest to siege the base and defeat this great evil. To her great surprise, she finds the villain reluctant to battle her, claiming to have left his days of wickedness behind him. Refusing to fall for this ploy, Hurricane launches herself into the battle of a lifetime and is given three chances to succeed. Should she fail she will follow in the steps of all those before her. Defeat. Humiliation. Death.

Late to comment as usual, but wanted to say I love the look and feel of this and almost all of Lucia films. It certainly helps that McKenzie and Lucy really have “it” when it comes to these kinds of films…the right physical appearance, facial expressions, bodies, vocalizations, etc. Top notch! I’m a long time B movie “creature feature” fan, especially when there’s a sexual element thrown in. Thought the villain was…different. The voice fx reminded me of old PC games. Still enjoyed it and McKenzie’s performance was great. Sent a message about a possible custom, hope it can be considered.

There is traditional inner dialog type speech, but she talks to herself out-loud instead of it being in her head. Different style, largely the same effect!
I love the way you guys use inner monologue. I’d love to see a film with that as a main focus somehow
Loved the Metroid-esque costume! Even if i”m more of a fan of the Zero Suit in Samus but this looks great! It’s jnce to see video game inspired costumes getting the spotlight a bit

This one very good heroine video. Nice sexy costume. Hot model. And a dominant villain
McKenzie is fantastic as the confident heroine who gets defeated. She plays out the peril scenes really well, one believes that she is being tortured. She picks herself up from every defeat and looks like she is going to smash the villain but takes the beating again, but very convincingly.
I liked the gradual costume removal and that she keeps coming back no matter the humiliation.
Only drawback was the lighting….prefer it brighter. But still well worth the money

It did get a little dark sometimes. The lighting setup looked amazing during testing but proved to be a little challenging in practice. Glad you liked the movie otherwise; she really was tough to the very end!

Another classic from Lucia with McKenzie. Like everyone else has said this is a great video, I personally loved it. McKenzie doesn’t disappoint and the peril is built up beautifully. The creature was cool and executed well, but I kind of wish his voice was a little louder. Some parts had her voice very clear and his was harder to make out, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thank you Lucia and McKenzie for this wonderful treat during quarantine lol, please keep em coming
Audio is the bane of our editors existence. The same video will sound different on five different sources. Audio balancing can be extremely difficult, which is why you even see that in AAA movies like the Avengers, where people mumble in whispers but the sound effects will blow your speakers out. Definitely a challenge!

I think I say it for everyone when I say your absence has been noticed — both in your responses to each customer in comments as well as the longer-than-usual gap between releases. Albiet (Real talk warning!) the current virus situation has kinda thrown a pretty predictable wrench in things when your business model is mashing people together like kids toys. Any chance the silver lining in this all is that you and the crew will be able to focus in on editing and will lead to quicker releases as you aren’t able to film as much?
We are definitely going to do our best to make the best use of the time indoors we can. Our initial goal was to put out three films this month, though the pandemic has obviously thrown an wrench in a few things. Still the goal though!
Hubris is an epic 12 out of 10 video. All Lucia and/or Mckenzie fans MUST own this. It has very high production value and Mckenzie’s acting just keeps getting better and better. The battles are spectacular (especially battle 2 for me) and the sex scene is amazing. I really think Mckenzie is becoming the new queen of this genre, she just keeps getting better and better. I watched it and I enjoyed it. Was it perfect, well no, but what short of my own custom film would be in my opinion? Still, a fine film, and easily the best Lucia has done to date. I enjoyed the costumes and seeing Hurricane’s in action wasn’t as bad as I thought (no offense to the seamstress. It’s a fine garment). Still, not my cup of tea for a superheroine outfit. 1. Mckenzie can actually unhinge her jaw like a snake. Not even kidding. She really is an anime character.
2. The Kylo Ren/Monster voice is actually our cameraperson who also voices Vayne and a lot of other voice over work in our films.
I’d say he is quite the voice actor. As for Mckenzie, wow. Sounds painful. LOL
C+ LucĂa and Mack have done better customs sometimes its little things like plastic gloves those ruined it for me the contact element was missing, next time maybe paint the hands, peril scene short and bland fight scenes limited overall finished watching and realize so much hard work and effort for a not so good film, LucĂa u went over and beyond for this custom but as always looking forward to the next one (dishonored 2?)
Sorry it wasn’t to your liking! We make a lot of different, often strange things and while it is no surprise when one misses the mark for someone, it is always unfortunate. We definitely hope to make something you like more down the line!
I guess I’ll wake from my slumber and watch this film. Looks different. I sure hope the “sex” it’s rough, though. Not sure about the costume choice for Hurricane, but everything else looks atmospheric and awesome. That costume looks… well… shiny? A+ for costume destruction, though, not that there is much to destroy. LOL

Costume destruction indeed. Our seamstress was on set and made just the saddest face every time we had to pull more of it apart. She made it by hand! But it was definitely a fun process all the same.

Sometimes I see a McKenzie video and I sigh a little inside. There are other actresses out in the genre after all. But then I watch her videos, see how smoking hot she is, how well she dons just about any custom given to her, how well she acts and how perfect her reactions are to EVERY-THING(!) and I get it. I’m with you on this, in regards to the sighing part. It’s Coco all over again. It’s amazing how over exposed McKenzie has become in such a short period. I’m not as big a fan of her as some people (I don’t dislike her or anything, but less is more here), but god just give me some others. Obviously most of these are customs so not much I can say about that. Just a little frustrating I guess when I see a new release and it’s the same two people every time.
When it comes to Customs, you are correct that we put on screen who people pay to be on screen! That can definitely create some flooding when someone is particularly popular and many people want them for their specific visions.
Yeah hopefully I didn’t give the impression that it’s your fault or any producers. I certainly know how it works lol. Can just be frustrating at times, but that’s the nature of the business.

How much to create a custom movie like this cost?
That can be a pretty impossible thing to answer simply. There are too many factors that can dictate the price of a movie to give any sort of simple ballpark. And sometimes the prices of things can alter between movies. For instance, everyone on set REALLY struggled with having to work with the slime. We love it in the movies as it looks great, but it creates a huge, complex mess. A need for mid-shoot showers. Special materials and staff. Special cleaning procedures. Etc. ‘Twas great, even though I did not like the boots and Mackie’s pussy was not on display. I particularly liked the way in which her breasts were exposed (that scene made me gasp) and how her trous were removed. Great job. Eagerly awaiting next release.
Boots! Probably the most contentious aspect second only to nylons. One day we shoot a film with a go-go boot on one foot, and a stiletto boot on another, and somehow bare feet from we don’t know where. And. It will be perfect.

I’ve been waiting for this post to be able to chime in and say that I picked this up shortly after it went on sale and I think it might be my favorite heroine movie that has ever been made. It does almost all of the things I love in these movies and it’s shot well, acted well, and looked great. Not to mention, I really like Mckenzie. Excellent excellent excellent.

And, unfortunately it ‘is’ really that difficult to find dependable sites to host our previews due to the nature of the content. It is against the Terms of Service for virtually every media player site that exists, and running our own servers to deal with the hosting and streaming of videos to hundreds of people is a bit out of our area not to mention super expensive.
