I thought it would be AMAZING if Amber could wear a necklace on one of her movies. My favorite aspects of all her movies have been her back arches / back breakers / low blows, etc. basically anything that exposes her neck fully. I thought it’d be GREAT if a small necklace could accentuate her neck, it’d make the movie(s) SO much better for me. (not that they aren’t amazing).

Does anyone else feel the same way, or am I the only guy?

If I may ask, how good is/are the sex scenes? Is there any internal dialogue?

I don’t think pitching content was actually helpful to my point. Instead theres a more practical way of looking at these series. Turn TBFE into purely pg-13 story line led videos, remove all the r-rated elements, beatdowns, sex scenes, torture and so on, place more emphasis on special effects and action. Keep punished heroines as the hardcore fetish, male self-insert, humiliation, beatdown r-rated line. Lucia films would be the experimental line that would take more risks, using the sort of ideas that perhaps didnt prove to be successful in the poorer selling TBFE videos. A pg-13 TBFE may have a… Read more »

I don’t think TBFE has any interest in being put into a little box to satisfy someone’s idea of every-brand-a-purpose at the expense of creative and economic license.

I don’t know why people have such a hard time understanding why customs dominate these studios output or why they turn out the way they do. One person foots half the bill. The market makes up the other half, after the fact. That one person gets what they want, which may be derivative or weird or awkward or all three.

I have noticed the growing division amongst us in the comment section, and i propose a (possible) solution in terms of varying these stories. Its become apparent to me that the the dominant model for these scenarios is the male (self-insert/relatable), beatdown orientatated, torture etc of the heroine, where the importance of story has somewhat diminshed compared to many of the earlier TBFE releases. Personally this direction does not appeal to me, but i was very pleasantly surprised by Dark Surrender. What I’m suggesting, to shake things up a bit, is yes, the custom model is the dominant one, overwhelmingly… Read more »

I commissioned this custom. Have been a big fan of Amber for a while and liked the Sunder character too. This video connects with the previous Sunder videos and there is a story arc running through them. There is one more which the Finale, it has been shot and just waiting for TBFE to complete post production. As the person who requested the custom, I am very pleased with the finished product. Amber is as beautiful as I have ever seen her and she plays the confident heroine who runs into peril but fights on notwithstanding really well. No nudity,… Read more »

Question. How does a commission work? Do you get your money back if the video sells well? Or you just pay to have it produced at your specifications?

You pay for the custom, which is usually in the thousands. You do not get the money back if the video sells well. Most of the time you don’t get everything you want that you included in your script even though it was okayed by the producer. A lot of the time the producers have to change things the day of shooting for a multitude of reasons. Sometimes you don’t even get the model that you requested because something happened the day of the shoot and they had to use a different model. Sometimes you have to wait 6 months… Read more »

Wow, this is insightful. I never knew producing a custom allowed so much risk to the customer. I have to assume it goes right more often than not. I’ll do some research into this.

I can confirm that while virtually all my customs met or exceeded my expectations, I have had a couple of duds. It is a major let down as customs costs are easily into four figures. One dud is one dud too many. Over the last couple of years, happily I have not have had any issues. I tend to select the same producer for all my customs. We are now at the point where we completely trust each other and we both know how the other thinks.

The only producer I have used (other than DT Wrestling, which is a bit different) is Rye. The couple I have had done he has followed the script I provided pretty much exactly. I can’t think of anything that has been left out. How I visualized it beforehand might have been slightly different on a couple of occasions, but that isn’t something that can be catered for really. I’ve always had the model and outfit that I requested. If the model had to pull out or the outfit was not available I would expect to be informed and offered a… Read more »

Oh yes, and the outfit is also important to me but there are only so many variations of that and so that’s simpler to cater for. For me, it has to be the classic SG outfit but I think there are enough followers of each type of outfit for that not to be a deal breaker, so to speak. I can’t afford to have customs made as a rule, but if I had a mail from Rye, for example, saying he was going to film Coco in the SG outfit and the list of perils matched my interest, I’d be… Read more »

You dont get back any of the money you paid, and it could take as long as 6 months to get the finished product. TBFE have always delivered all or almost all my requests. Sometimes there is a wardrobe issue, but otherwise been great with them. And no, one does not get a share of the sales

A Custom works by you give the producer money, and basically retain some right of creative control in whatever you want to custom produce. However, at the end of the day, you are merely a client, which mean for better or worst, you will not earn money nor lose money (Beside the money you paid to commission a custom) because you do not own the right to the material produced, they retain as the Producer intellectual properties. There are many method/ways to make a custom, quite depends on money you are willing to pay and how much creative control you… Read more »

I enjoyed this “repetitive” “old wine”. SHIP is a niche genre. It’s SHIP. If you put on a hip hop record you shouldn’t complain that it isn’t jazz. No need for impressive essays.

HeroineFall avatar

I will preface this comment stating I have not, nor do I intend to purchase this video. While I agree that an old wine analogy is poor, I won’t disagree that this content is stale. I’ve never shared an admiration for Amber, since much better actresses are willing to do more daring content. She is beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but the dangling carrot of boobies unseen makes her videos disappointing to say the least. I don’t mean to make jabs at Amber, lord knows I don’t know her as a person, but as the genre evolves into a balance… Read more »

There’s quite a lot to unpack here and far be it for me to question what you feel is true but there are two things I’ll like to at least offer some contradictions to. First, you can hardly blame TBFE for repetition in their videos. They are producing CUSTOMS which are subject to the whims of the customer who serves as executive producer and writer. And if anything I’ve always found TBFE stuff way more complex than most producers who promote on this site. The peril stuff I may not like all that much most of the times but their… Read more »

You assume correctly, but my private conversations with producers about their business are not mine to share. Ask them yourself. The reason they’re not taking chances or releasing anything but customs is they need the initial investment to make it worth their while these days, as their work is pirated immediately.

You can also look to the music industry for evidence of the devastating effects of piracy on the ability to earn a living. A simple google search will do.

I’d be curious to see how a value is put on piracy. Do they track the number of copies shared? Of those shares how can one be certain the individual would have purchased the video if no other means were available? I’ve borrowed a blockbuster video from a friend and watched it, but would have never paid to see the film because I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy it. Can Hollywood claim loss in this scenario? As I said before, I’m sure piracy plays a part in sales, but stating “because producers say so” is hardly an argument to support a… Read more »

If a producer says that piracy is 100% the reason that they don’t make more/different content, then it’s not about actual numbers but their perception and their emotional response. Were I a producer and I saw my stuff on a pirate site the same day I released it, I would be disinclined to listen to any public forum posts about my product and pay attention only to email from customers whose serial numbered content never showed up on a pirate site. It would absolutely affect what I made and for whom. It’s hard not to be overwhelmingly influenced by a… Read more »

The market is dynamic and there are many contributing factors, but of course the biggest is the availability of your premium product for free. This is a fairly basic concept that is easy to understand. We also have producers who have been in the industry since before file-sharing and video-share sites became ubiquitous, and can compare their numbers directly, as well as sales data that corresponds to a release before and after it is shared on a file sharing site. I get that you’d love nothing more than to prove that stealing people’s shit doesn’t hurt anyone, but you are… Read more »

With sincere respect, I understand and accept most of your arguments. Though, a portion will always be indisputable as preference and opinion. The comment, “A lot of R-rated actress have what I call porno reactions to the peril they are suffering.” made me laugh, because I could picture exactly what you meant. It’s a fine line, true, but claiming all R-rated actresses are inferior when portraying proper peril expression is a bit absolute, don’t you think? Have you seen Primal’s Mighty Girl, the original one where she’s trapped in a magical circle? I forget her name, but that actress did… Read more »

I apologize if anything I said offended you in any way. I come from a film background and understand the tremendous effort that even the smallest projects require. I also sympathize with the frustration of shackled creativity. I’ll admit that I tried to do a SHiP film once, but making connections and finding those willing to partake wasn’t easy. I knew then, as I do now, that I needed resources, talented people to help me create something new. Running the camera, acting, and directing is not the simplest task when filming an action scene. Even harder when your model pops… Read more »

Amber helped TBFE push its boundaries. There was a time when their softcore content was much softer than it is today. She didn’t go topless, but the videos she did were more sexually overt and non-consensual than TBFE had typically done before, and she gave good performances. She still gives good performances, and she still looks sexy as hell in that Sunder leotard and those boots. I wish the tat was covered, but I’ll probably pick this up soon anyway.

Don’t waste money… Old wine in new bottle..

Nothing new… Same like her earlier work…. If u continue this type work…. Then your days are going very fast….

Learn something from Rye or Lucia
Their content are always suprising And new ….

You are just wasting money….

Either you come with Amber or Ashley … Your variety are gone… Very much disappointing…

It’s funny but I was just thinking how we haven’t seen Amber in a long time. Glad to see people are still willing to do customs with her. I feel like she’s becoming a little bit underrated with all the new blood that’s been injected into the genre recently but she has and always will be a top tier performer in my mind. She puts on a good performance with each and every video she’s in.
