Great film. I hope there is a lot more from Vice/Virtue in 2020.

I’d just like to mention that the still the trailer is frozen on is exceptionally well chosen. It shows off the essence of this vid as well as the commitment and skill of the actress who plays Vice. Great video.

This was a good video. It didn’t wow me as it did others, but that’s how it goes. The descriptions given by Darkwrath and Rob do justice to the action, even if I don’t exactly share their reactions, but Vice/Vixen (the actress) did a fine job with the combat generally (I also thought the fight choreography was a bit slow) and I definitely agree that her acting is excellent. When I saw a screenshot of Virtue in the previews, I was concerned that Virtue might be restored in this video and we wouldn’t see Vice anymore, but fortunately that’s not… Read more »

I keep on reading about people wanting Vice to beat up some heroine as though she (Vice) is a villain and I don’t quite understand people’s take on this. Even from Vice’s debut a lot of people seemed to like the idea of her being an outright villainess now but that to me is treating Vice as a completely separate entity to Virtue. The way I see it, Vice is an anti-hero. She takes no crap from people and is in it for herself unlike Virtue who probably believes in justice and does what she does out of a sense… Read more »

I thought it was interesting that the Crown Prince referred to Vice as a ‘heroine” and the Masked Man went after her in the same way he’s gone after all the other Elite Force operatives.

Vice isn’t bad, she’s just….filmed that way 😉

My understanding of Vice and Virtue is a bit different, I think. Vice appeared by force, summoned by Malicia Divine, without Virtue’s consent. Virtue had never called forth “Vice” or anything like her, even though several times in the past she could have used an alter ego whose powers worked when hers didn’t. I suspect that Vice is everything Virtue has been trying to hold back since she started being “Virtue”. According to Malicia, Vice is the embodiment (perhaps the distillation) of Virtue’s previous life as a ruthless underworld figure. She may be exaggerating somewhat, but Malicia described Vice to… Read more »

I feel like this is ignoring things that have been explicitly shown to us already regarding the Virtue-Vice relationship. For one, it’s made pretty clear that Vice doesn’t have the power of Virtue (or vice versa) even with full control now. If Vice comes up against someone whose blood type RH is the one way that Vice’s power doesn’t work against, she must snap her fingers and turn into Virtue whose power would work. For another, Vice and Virtue have been shown working in tandem to take down or at attempt to take down their opponents depending on whose power… Read more »

You haven’t considered the obvious: Vice has undisclosed reality-altering powers. In a different reality you are writing a critique based on an alternate ending and arguing the opposite point. See…simple.

(A brief note to the humor challenged – I am gently teasing these guys for their detailed discussion about the character and motivation of a fictional character that exists to entertain SHIP customers.)

I think Bert the specific term you’re looking describe us as is “NEEERRRRDDDS!”

Preaching to the converted, brother. And hey, in some circles being called a nerd is a compliment.

If they are partners, why didn’t Vice summon Virtue to handle Dr. Progress? The only time we’ve ever seen Virtue and Vice appear to summon one another to handle an opponent is in non-canon videos where the consequences (in terms of who is left in control) don’t matter. And in this very episode, Vice turns into Virtue (after the CP alters her), then turns back into Vice immediately without any reason to do so. Within the ongoing story, that’s the first time Virtue has reappeared since Malicia summoned Vice originally. Why would Virtue, if she were really in control for… Read more »

The reason why Vice didn’t transform into Virtue against Dr Progress is because she didn’t know how to at the time. In non cannon and Championship adventures thus far she has this ability albeit the activation is a little vague and seems to vary. In the story, she didn’t have this ability until the Crown Prince grants it to her in this episode which was the whole point of Bargains. To gain that ability in exchange for both the locator and the red stone which Vice had. Vice even states it when she says to the Crown Prince: “I want… Read more »

The more I watch this—and I haven’t stopped watching since Friday—the more I believe that Vice’s performance here needs to be bronzed and placed into the NGC Hall of Fame. Forget best NGC performance all year. This is probably the best NGC performance of all time in every regard. Vice did a really exceptional job delivering her lines, her expressions were to die for and the sounds she makes when receiving a hit were perfect every single time. Of course this is only my opinion so it’s subjective (I’m sure there are many who disagree and that’s fine) but good… Read more »

Have you seen Season 3, Side Mission 6? Another fine performance from this actress. I think she’s better in this one, but the other is a scenario I love – confident heroine facing multiple foes. There’s a McGuffin, and then she gets triple-teamed.

My friend, this Vice video compelled to start watching all of Virtue’s old stuff and that video you mentioned, along with the direct sequel to it, Season 3, Side Mission 7 were some great films. But then as I continued to watch all of her old stuff I remembered that for a period of time between her debut and her encounter with Filth in Season 4, episode 4, she was THE favorite and I considered her the best that NGC had to offer. Then she took a little break, came back and never quite performed at those high water marks… Read more »

Virtue’s ‘Pure’ battle with The Dominator was all kinds of good, and when Vice appears it goes next level-
“Oh bitch, you’re gonna wish you were dead”. 🙂

Well this one goes up to 11, with overdrive! Darkwrath’s described the action beautifully so I’ll focus on the script, because it’s a thing of beauty. NGC’s writing is always on point but this release is especially tight; we find out what the object was that Vice, Malicia and D.Progress were fighting over in ‘Beg,Borrow or Steal”, we learn a bit more about the Crown Price’s abilities and we find out more about his, perhaps uneasy, alliance with the Masked Man. All of this is a few lines of dialogue and not a word wasted. Another notable quality is the… Read more »

I thought this was the best choreographed fight I’ve seen in a lot time, and certainly the best I’ve seen from NGC. The beating Vice received came in every form, punches, kicks, slaps, you name she received it. I also thought her reactions to the punishment were perfect, both vocal and visually. The fact some of the moves were slow, as stated earlier, all helped it work for me because you get time to take in the situation. All in all, I think this was more brutal than previous videos I’ve seen from NGC, and so I hope this is… Read more »

NGC, you devil you. Such a great early Christmas gift you’ve given me in the form of a most wonderful SHIP film. If last week’s fight “Unfair” didn’t quite resonate with me then this week’s fight “Bargains” is the exact opposite of that. I enjoyed nearly every second of this one backed up by one of the best performances for the year. The video starts out with Vice quite literally bargaining with the Crown Prince. The specifics only matter to those who, like me, also watch these NGC films for the story but essentially the Crown Prince pulls a technicality… Read more »

I completely agree about Vice’s tights. They were much better than the ones that usually appear in NGC films. More of them please!

Her acting has improved by a lot! She sells her pain a lot better than before, not perfect but it’s a huge leap.

Also, I have never seen a sweatier villain.

Wasted opportunity. You had her on a leash/collar from one of the sexiest villainess ever in the genre… and now we get some bro in a mask and a hoody? Lol. No thanks.
