NGC Story: Phased Out – Part 2
Starshot is running out of strength and running out of time. Her valiant fight against the Anvil has left her exhausted, while he is fresh having used some form of ‘Second Wind’ to revive himself. To compound her problems, the Announcer is also taking a more ‘hands on’ approach as he searches for answers to his questions. There is only so much protection Starshot can offer her team-mates as her battle continues.
This time however it is almost completely one-sided as both men set about a clinical physical destruction of Starshot. Even if she talks it may not save her. Will she talk?

OK, I promised (threatened?) my half-baked thoughts on the story implications of this release and especially the ending. Here goes. Starshot breaks! She reveals who was behind the escape plot and where they’re hiding (or at least the name of the place, which seemed meaningful to the Crown Prince.) After all her valiant resistance and tenacity, she tells the Announcer what he wants to know. Or does she? I’m not so sure. In a literal sense, the CP is misinformed about who is behind the escape plan, since “Heidi Erstweiler” isn’t Celestia anymore (or is she? Who knows anything?) So… Read more »
Fascinating thoughts Doctor. I did wonder about ‘Heidi Erstweiler’ myself; it does seem that the 7D don’t know that this is ‘another’ Celestia (if, indeed, she is a different Celestia). As for ‘infecting’ sanctuary, I wonder if someone (Miss Freedom maybe, or even Starshot) will be ‘allowed’ to be rescued and if they’re going to carry some kind of weapon or disease into Sanctuary? Y’know, it hardly seems five minutes since we were all freaking out about Celestia being alive and wondering if we were looking at the end of NGC (or at least, I was). Given how this year… Read more »
The sad part is that we probably won’t find out what’s going to happen to Starshot for quite some time. It took us pretty much a year to find out what happened to Wonderstrike after being pummeled by Alaric.
Son of a gun my Club Email got deleted along with a ton of others is it possible to get a repost , Yahoo email just went nuts and wiped out a ton of my stuff for what ever reason
The video is now released so you can get it at http://nextglobalcrisis.com
I was somewhat more interested in the special footage of the Now No longer performing Angel, sorry got buried at work or I would have replied sooner then now
I did go ahead and order the video along with the photo set, as proof I can email you the transaction ID # if it might at all be possible to get that bonus footage, if not I understand. cant wait to get a chance probably tuesday to watch the video 🙂
Hot damn this is good! Dr.Mabuse and Darkwrath have both done excellent jobs summing this release up, so I can only add to the praise. Starshot really came into her own, for me, in ‘Bid for Capture’ where she showed tremendous courage. There’s more of that courage on display here. In part one she was pugnaciou; bringing the fight to the Anvil and even dominating him in some sections. Here, clearly feeling the strain from part one, she’s defiant. Even in the midst of back-breakers and torture racks she’s trying so hard take the punishment without breaking. Her ‘micro expressions’… Read more »
I did enjoy this one, it was one hell of a beating she took.
My favourite part would have to be the ‘triple back-breaker’, the porcelain-skinned beauty was absolutely helpless.
Starshot actress is wonderful. Her performance as a heroine pushed to the edge and the intense fighting choreography makes this a must-watch for fans of the peril genre.
Any over the shoulder carry?
NGC i love you
Didn’t much like the last one, does this one have a it’s carry in it?
Ots carry i meant.
Oh my. I expected this to be great, but this even surpassed my high expectations. These are the types of videos I just love. Heroine in a one sided beatdown; crawling, dazed, weak, dominated for the entire video. Used every last second, didn’t even waste time on a win ending, just awesome.
Starshot sells every bit of it. If you like beatdown vids, this is one for you.
AHH! What just happened? What comes next? The first part of “Phased Out” was spectacular, so my expectations are sky high for this release, and they were exceeded. Of course, I’d be pretty satisfied if we got “more of the same” from part 2 as from part 1, with Starshot’s debilitation increasing as the fight wears on. The first part was about as entertaining a display of combat as any in NGC history and it’s a pleasure just to watch her and the Anvil work. I’m still incredibly impressed with the choreography and filming from these fights. Darkwrath016’s comment summarizes… Read more »
Whether to call him “The Announcer” or “MC”, I think one thing we can agree on is that he probably needs a name at this point. He’s been in the championship for 3+ years now and he has a role in the main story line. I think it’s time NGC provides us with some sort of name. Springboarding off of that, I think it’s a good time to reminded of some of the sub plot lines and hanging threads that have been going on since we’ve entered this “7th Dimension Arch” since the beginning of 2018. 1) Are we ever… Read more »
You’ve got questions, Darkwarth016, I’ve got… supposition and speculation: 1) The impression I was left with by “Phased Out, part 1” is that giving heroines’ powers to 7D agents is something they’ve been experimenting with for awhile now, and it sounds like “the Anvil” is the latest (successful) attempt. It also sounded to me like we might see a villain (perhaps this very one) who has more than one heroines’ power, something like Amazo in DC or the Super Skrull in Marvel comics. 2) I’ve never stopped wondering about this myself. I could live without knowing, especially if the “why”… Read more »
I think the question about Sister Fate’s ‘slave’ was answered in the Bluebird Q & A on the NGC site.
Dang it, hit ‘post’ too soon.
My own fan-theory (aka pure speculation) about Alaric and Comet Girl is that they’re from alternate time lines. It seems pretty certain that the Bluebird in this arc is the BB from the ‘2020/Play Dead/Broken Wings’ timeline.
In that light both Alaric and CG could be from similar, alternate time lines.
Chiming in to also give props to the MC. Loved that first video he was in (because I love seeing Miss Freedom hypnotized, duh) and I’ve been pleased to see him continue as the MC. The guy’s hilarious and adds a ton of character to the story and the championship. He’s probably one of my favourite characters in general now.
Agreed about Miss Mesmerized (as I’ve never called her before now, but will start doing so) and about the MC. There have been a couple of Championship episodes without him, and I remember really missing his presence. Glad that he’s branching out.
Now I just have to sidebar and say it’s time we see Miss Mesmerized…mesmerized again. Been too long. (I’m rooting for a hypnotized sleeper agent storyline, myself…though I would take that with pretty much any of the heroines.)
I agree that it’s high time another heroine fell victim to a dastardly hypnotist, be it our “Miss Mesmerized” or someone else. Mind control and the like is a peril scenario that requires a different kind of acting than the combat-oriented types we typically see, so there are some heroines I think would be better at it (MF, Celestia, Candy, Starshot, Spectrum, and Comet Girl come to mind) than others. The “sleeper agent” idea is a really potent one. “The Manchurian Candidate” (1962) sets the standard, where the brainwashed agent turns into a mindless automaton executing orders when given the… Read more »
Now that is a TED Talk I can get behind, good Doctor. Now that we’ve totally derailed this comment section I will go back to admiring the wonderful work of NGC and crossing my fingers for some good mesmerizing mischief.
Great job, NGC.
This is one for the ages. Absolute destruction. WOW! Loved every minute of it.
I’m not sure if its ever happened before, but I don’t have any constructive criticism… I wouldn’t change a thing.
Is Starshot the best? Hard to watch this release and conclude otherwise. Does NGC have a great knack for combining excellent storytelling with great heroine in peril sequences? I certainly think so. Is this a great video that I think everyone should get? Yep. Absolutely. This release has three main things going for it. A most wonderful actress in the form of Starshot who I’ve repeatedly stated is the best and I’m going to stand by that once more. A very vicious beat down of Starshot. And edge of your seat tension in the storyline that kept my eyes glued… Read more »
Looks like fun to me. NGC has been killing it lately. Another instant buy for me.
One-sided beatdown, my favorite type of video. If only they could all be like this.
Wow. Starshot has such sexy long legs. Will you ever consider deboot her?
