Question. POV?
Hey everyone,
I was wondering what kind of interest there is out there for POV videos? Like PG13 heroine is brutalized and beaten, and/or hardcore from the perspective of the bad guy.
Id like to hear both negative and positive opinions about why you seek this content or have no interest.
yes id love to see someone explore this style. I think it could be very sexy. filmakers can innovate here, id gladly support such pov superheroine films
As an alternative to a pure POV, which is a one-take proposition, consider taking a found-footage approach, combining surveillance camera footage with bodycam footage. Perhaps the hero has made a powerful enemy who pays a villain to exact revenge, a condition being that the villain wear a bodycam and collect the surveillance cam footage afterward. This premise excuses the imperfect first-person POV, gives you contrasting external static (even silent) POVs, lets you edit to tell a story, and gives those viewers who need it a little distance from the action.
I don’t like the gonzo stuff. Always feels like an excuse to do your shoot with an iphone and it’s less immersive for me since the person I’m supposed to “be” when I’m watching invariably acts in ways that are different from how I’d act. Makes me hyper-aware of the gimmick the whole time, whereas watching the characters on screen feels much more natural.
Your comment is confusing. Superheroine peril is not gonzo. Gonzo has no plot and only contains random sex.
Meh, kind of indifferent to it. I guess its ok once in awhile. I wouldn’t make a genre out of it or nothing.
I have to echo both Beastgeallow and Mantower’s comments. I think POV sounds great as a concept, but I’ve never actually seen any where I haven’t ultimately been disappointed. I agree, most often I have seen it where the camera is too wide and therefore takes me completely out of the whole concept of POV since it doesn’t even come close to mirroring the human eye. It also seems to limit what can actually be done in a physical sense as far as the combat/beatdown, etc. Lastly, to me at least, it always looks a bit silly in the end… Read more »
I am fan of POV but it has to be well done. The POV problem is the camera. Ringdivas uses wide angles which i think is not good because the idea is to mirror the human eye. I prefer normal lenses and a good camera man/girl who can capture the punches impacting and the reactions. Femwrestling rooms i think it has the better ones.
I like PG13 heroine is brutalized and beaten. Belly punches is my fav thing. But i look when the heroine starts confident but at the end she surrenders and begs for mercy.
The idea of POV always sounds great, I always think that it would be awesome, but in reality I have yet to see a POV video which really worked. Ringdivas did quite a few POV videos and I bought a couple but didn’t really get into them (speaking of which, anybody know what happened to Ringdivas?). I think POV can work if used sparingly in a video, mixed in with the standard camera work, but a full POV video doesn’t really sound like a great idea.
Looks like Ringdivas stopped producing new content. Their site is still up but they haven’t had any updates since last year I think. Same with Fightgirlz2000 I think, shame.
Yeah, that’s how it looks to me too, I emailed them a while back asking but didn’t get any answer. Now that you mention it fightgirlx has gone quiet, although that doesn’t bother me really I never really liked their videos. It seems that a lot of producers are dropping by the wayside in the last year or so 🙁
I am actually not a sadist so I don’t enjoy seeing any person I feel amorous for being hurt. My non-violent ideal superheroine takedowns involve forced drugging, sneaking ambushes, uncomplex trickery [meaning little to no talking involved, none is best], hostage surrender ploys, power loss by manual control [by a man] or imprisonment [also by a man]. I would not care as much what she did to hurt the villain whom I most identify with [the one molesting her] and even less so for the ones I don’t. The kicks and such that the guys endure do look wincingly brutal… Read more »
We are all scratching our heads at this post.
I got in 10 car accidents in the past year, but i told my insurance company that i’m an excellent driver. Guess what they did.
Love POV videos, the one with Miss CJ was great. Punches and kick to belly, face, throat and crotch is want I would like to see.
Have to say, I always liked those POV videos from Alex David back in the day. I guess it’s mostly dependant on the model and the content tbh. AD did great with both.
All about it. The perspective works I’m normal adult features and would work fine here. Something akin to battracy bestdiwn vid but she’s forced to give it up to the villain at the end. Alex David productions aren’t the beat standard for comparison. Try primal superheroines instead.
Just to clarify…The Liberty Girl I was referencing was this: https://www.heroinemovies.com/liberty-girl-ambushed-and-violated-from-primal/ ….Not technically POV…But the restrained sequence was VERY close…And could easily translate…And I agree…Primal is the closest standard.
Primals’ Liberty Girl Ambushed and Violated is one of my favorite superheroine peril vids OF ALL TIME. Melissa Moore is incredible in it, selling the heroine’s pride, and soul-shattering sexual peril. Awesome flick.
And for what it’s worth: PG-13 POV vids are not my cup of tea. Peril, for me, is all about SEEING a villain taunt and molest a powerless superheroine…
I was also a fan of Alex David’s stash…I think they come down to camera quality and content…In the end…They are limiting…But with the right actress and interaction…They are good..PG 13 or R…I know I enjoyed see Libert Girl having orgasm after orgasm seeing only the hands at work…It was through the costume, so it was very much SHIP…But it was also hot as F…The camera needs good clarity…and the movement needs to be percise without the blur…I am on board for sure if it’s done right.
Sinful Entertainment tried this concept two years ago. I don’t think a beatdown works in POV from the male’s point of view. You are limited to punches from the male. Kicks and certain weapons won’t be very visible on screen. I think it can work in POV if the villain uses a substance such as pink kryptonite to weaken and arouse the heroine. For example the villain sets up a fake distress to lure the heroine. Then, he surprises her with the substance and takes advantage of her. He can also film it with a cell phone to blackmail her… Read more »
Alex David also did a few (all from the villain’s POV). I thought they were quite hot. And of course there’s always the classic, Tabitha Mountmore… excuse me I mean the Ultragirl Trap.
