Wow! I just got a chance to watch episode 9, and what a spectacular video! Great fights, several knockouts, pulse-pounding action, the world in peril, and a cliffhanger as well! Things I liked (part 1): the mind-controlled heroines (seeing them and Harbinger as Myanna’s supplicants = awesome) were agreeably vicious as they confronted Red Glory and Wonderstrike, both of whom seemed to struggle a bit with their dialogue as much as with their opponents (OK, a bit of criticism there.) I very much enjoyed the closely-matched fight of these four. One advantage of the two-on-two battle is that it allows… Read more »

Hmm… I just re-watched the episode and had the chronology wrong. It ends with RG and WS resurgent (but the battle not resolved.) Maybe things aren’t so bad for our heroines after all…

Great episode! I kinda echo Mike J about it starting a bit slow but that’s probably because there was a need to arrange all the combatants in the right position for whatever endgame NGC has in store for us. There are really two battles in this film. The first battle pits the dynamic duo of Wonderstrike and Red Glory against a mind controlled Erica and Starshot. This battle is sort of back and forth with momentum shifting between the mind controlled heroines and the dynamic duo. None of the four ladies leaves this battle unscratched which actually doesn’t conclude at… Read more »

Great and outstanding video, gorgeous heroines all over the place and even a pretty close ots with Infinity Girl 🙂 Hoping part two will have more knockouts and of course ots carries,my dream is to see all or most of these ladies flung over a shoulder(of course in my dream its my shoulder)Short Athena extra but its always a pleasure to see her,and fantastic photo set as well 🙂

She’s a cutie, fer sure, but for me its a 3-way tie between her, Starshot and Wonderstrike.

I am a fan of every girl. Starshot is incredible but i like to see her as an heroine not as a villain. But i understand that it was what the plot needed for this episode. It was a clever way to make all the heroines fight. I loved the episode and i cant wait to see the next chap. Big fan of the new girls and of this season. Sorry for my english

I agree on the point about Starshot being a villain. Didn’t like that aspect. If she’s going to go evil, she should be “reborn” into a new character.

It started a little slowly, but this is one of my favorite episodes ever. Didn’t stop once it got started. They’ll be another episode right, this isn’t a cliffhanger?

I believe that its a 2 part film. 2nd part still to come.

Off the subject question, but is the actress who plays Bluebird out of the roster? I know you went with a more Deceptress focused season (not complaining, she is awesomely hot). But I was surprised with how prevalent Claire was prior that she’d drop off completely. Only thing I can come up with is the actress is out of the NGC business. Will we see her again?

Fantastic episode! Those head smashes into the wall on Red Glory were incredible. Huge cast, great action, lots at stake – pure NGC greatness! I can’t wait for the next episode!!

I’ve got a pretty good (though maybe premature) question: will there be a season 5?

Just keep using Erica Lynn!! (I’d say bring back Celestia too but I’m kinda thinking that might not be in the stars….)

Kinda have mixed feelings about this announcement which is really strange because I remember that two years or so ago, you talked about possible capping things at season 3. I cheered that decision because I thought that the episodic content and the desire to tell a story got in the way at times. Then season 4 came out and not only do I think that was your best season by far, some of your best films ever were in that season. I guess I’m just a little bit apprehensive about this semi-new direction is all and would hate for anything… Read more »

The joy with the change in format is that it opens up a literal universe of tales that don’t need to tie in directly to what has happened… They could be set in the past, present or in the future of the NGC canon. Hopefully this will mean the possibility of the return of the older heroines (especially ATHENA in her own mini series because her history needs to be explored, as she has so much being an immortal goddess). But also mean there can be even newer heroines created and and integrated into the overall story without needing to… Read more »

I share Darkwrath’s ambivalence about the change in direction, which in no way means that I’m souring on NGC, who have been my favorite producer in this genre for years. The continuing storyline going back to 2009 (!) not only creates a level of satisfaction with their work beyond whatever I think of any individual video, it also establishes a “universe” that gives context to the one-offs and short-form scenarios that NGC have done over the years, even if they aren’t tied to the main continuity. That said, I also share comicaptor’s excitement about the same development and totally understand… Read more »

To add one detail, it seems an ongoing storyline limits a bit the use of something totally new and a need to use the same characters. This could be a good thing of course, but sometimes I do crave something totally new. Then there’s the matter of retaining the models long-term.

I don’t know, it looks like a must-have to me based solely on what we see in the trailer.

Myanna is a great villain, been waiting a long time for this one. I like having a villain that can take control of the heroines and then pit them against each other.
