“Virtue Meets The Iron Drone” from Next Global Crisis
Virtue and Starshot return in Virtue Meets The Iron Drone, a new Special Mission from Next Global Crisis.
Virtue is back in action in the first of a Special Mission 2-Parter. Ace reporter Mandy Divine is on the scene as a powered down Iron Drone stands over a defeated and piled up Virtue and Starshot, but how exactly did this come about?

Ok, you’ve broken me down and I want to know the answer: https://nextglobalcrisis.com/2016/11/special-poll-who-returns-in-2017/
More on this for the remainder of the year no doubt.
Good idea. Maybe if the winner of the poll doesn’t return, you move to the heroine who came second/third/ etc?
Maybe, we’ll have to see how many votes the runner up gets!
I think it might be helpful if we knew which actresses were gone or not gone, depending on which list is shorter. That way, we can make a more informed decision. I mean sure we know that Shadowstar is gone and we can infer that Athena is likely not there along with Comet Girl. But then there are a few heroines who are ambiguous at best: Celestia, Bluebird, Miss Freedom to name a few. They haven’t appeared on the blog/website for quite some time but their fates at the end of Season 3 (season 4 in the case of Celestia)… Read more »
I agree it would be good to know who is planned a comeback already and who is “in retirement”…would be a shame if people didn’t vote for a character because they mistakenly thought she was coming back anyway.
It IS a fair question, but I’m not going to divulge the information for a couple of reasons. Firstly, as soon as I did it will immediately be followed by “why?”, which I don’t think I have the right to say publicly. Also it isn’t quite so cut and dried as persons A and B will never come back but C and D will. Essentially as long as people are healthy they can do it, they might turn around and say they’ll only do it for a huge amount of money, we shall see. Lastly, I want to know who… Read more »
@Darkwrath016 – Regarding Celestia, although it brings me no pleasure to say it, it seems like episode one of season four WAS a farewell episode and didn’t leave any questions at all about her fate. And while I really hate to bid her farewell since she was one of my absolute favorites in the genre, that farewell episode was one of NGC’s very best to date. She got a great sendoff.
Very good, thank you Virtue, thank you NGC。
Virtue of the next film at what time?
Starshot is a hot commodity at the moment it seems. Good addition but I was hoping that mechanical monster was going to put that body of hers in some holds…. A bear hug or back breaker. For another installment perhaps.
Everything’s better with a Starshot in it
Really enjoyed this one, also got a few laughs out of it! Looking forward to seeing how the rest of it unfolds.
This is a pretty good video at a really GREAT price. If you were a member you got this video for little less than 10 bucks I believe and to me this video was more satisfying that some SHIP films that I’ve watched which were approaching the $40 range (I’ll call no names on this). So what makes this film great aside from the stellar price point. Well we get to see two great heroines in action: Virtue and Starshot. They both get knocked out in the end (always nice) and they both got pilled up on each other in… Read more »
I agree that the film was a little brief. The Drone really made short work of the heroines; I think the dearly departed Comet Girl did a better job than these two together. Also, it would’ve been nice to see the drone use some weapons other than brute strength to take out two allegedly formidable heroines. Still, I loved it anyway and am looking forward to part 2. Also agree that Starshot needs her own adventure! Her only solo appearance so far (IIRC) is that fight with Alaric that amounted to little more than “Hey you, let’s fight!” Neat to… Read more »
The new video is great, much recommended, and at a great price. As the synopsis makes clear, both heroines get knocked out and a new mystery villain is revealed, promising more peril for poor defeated Virtue and Starshot in part 2 (which can’t come soon enough.) OK, apologize ahead for the long spiel to follow. I especially liked the way this video ended, with the heroines helpless at the mercy of the villains, leaving us wondering what will come next. Knowing NGC, it’s reasonable to expect they’ll get a chance to fight back, but bad things do happen. I know… Read more »
This is a very articulate post you gave here DrMabuse. I always figured that there were two camps in this genre. A ‘Heroine is Victorious’ camp (which seems rather silent) and a ‘Heroine is utterly defeated/killed’ camp (which appears to be the majority here). I didn’t realize that there was a third camp in which people like it when a heroine is defeated but not utterly so. Very interesting. I will say that for me personally, I’m in the ‘Heroine is utterly defeated/killed’ camp. However, over the last year or so, the genre has become so saturated with death endings… Read more »
If you like seeing defeated heroines piled on one another you will love this video. In my book Starshot and Virtue make a great losing team!
Hurry to send mail! please
Whoops! Just sent an early version of the members email to 100 people. Lucky devils will get it a couple of hours early, in case they post here or anywhere about it I just need to say the usual email will be coming out at the usual time. Don’t panic!
Figures that I’m not one of those lucky devils. 🙁
Don’t worry, not long now.
I have to buy a film virtue
Virtue is my goddess that must be purchased
While not as excited for this one as I was for Nowhere Safe (Virtue’s previous adventure), I’d probably still buy this when it comes out on Friday. It is featuring two of my favorite heroines in the entire genre. Starshot and Virtue. That’s an instant buy for me
