I picked this one up and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Wonderstrike vs Sister Fate was a great matchup.
The photo spread on Wonderstrike was great, too.
Thanks again NGC!

This being a ‘Pure’ release the emphasis is on the action, yet the things I enjoyed the most in this were the great character moments from Sister Fate and Wonderstrike. I liked Wonderstrike’s line, “It’s time you were brought to justice” and Sister Fate’s response ‘“..it’s not justice, it’s revenge” which is almost exactly what Jacob Saint said to Bluebird in ‘Play Dead’. Which leads me nicely onto another exchange- “I’ve had no dealing with society, the only anguish I’ve dealt is with self appointed do-gooders, like you” declares Sister Fate. I absolutely love this, it ties in beautifully with… Read more »

hmmm, interesting Character, this “Sister Fate” is.
Noticing all her “power factors” are almost even with each other.
That’s an unusual thing to find in the NGC universe.
With her strength set as “90”, she’s almost as strong as Lady Victory……maybe that should be a match-up in an upcoming video?

It would be a good match, maybe one for the Championship or another Pure release.

This is a solid release. Wonderstrike is improving in leaps and bounds as an actress, I think, and there’s a bunch to like in this video. My main hesitation in a Wonderstrike release is the acting. In the past, at times, her line delivery sounds like she’s reading from cue cards (sorry, that sounds harsh) and her vocalizations don’t sound very convincing. That wasn’t the case this time, and I’ve also come to appreciate how revealing she is as a “physical” actress. Her body movements, facial expressions, and stances convey a lot about her character and what she’s thinking/feeling. Either… Read more »

Boy, uh…this is some video. I always thought the pure series would be fighting focused and this, imo, is far from it. During one of the submissions, I thought to myself “are they just winging it???” I’m just being perfectly honest. The only part of the film I felt fit apporpriately to the Pure series was the alternate ending. There were some less used choereography used there that I enjoyed. Like Sister Fate’s interrupting dash punch to Wonerstrike’s belly that makes her bend over, BUT SF continues to knee her in the body afterwards. I love choreography that has a… Read more »

Release is tomorrow! I just rewatched the trailer and do my eyes deceive me, or is Wonderstrike’s cape missing when Sister Fate has her on the ground near the end? Call me weird, but I love it when the heroine loses her cape. Wonderstrike videos tend to succeed when we get straight to the action and this looks like it’ll be one of those. The way she’s standing in that still image, the look on her face, her whole demeanor carries this “‘sup, bitch?” attitude that I’m very into. Action WS is good WS. My favorite Wonderstrike, though, is Championship… Read more »

Looking forward to this! Wonderstrike’s first Pure episode fighting the Iron Drone was unexpectedly (to me, at least) great and I’ve become a fan of the lanky live wire in the Championship. Still loving the sleeveless look as well.

Based on the trailer, it looks like Sister Fate pretty much has her way with WS for a good deal of the video, but we’ll see if the wiry wonder can pull off another victory.
