That’s the same girl who plays Montana in Rookiefemmes and Rubyfemmes? Cause she doesn’t look like her at all.

That is a yes. BTW, I do not like alternative endings and that is why there isn’t one here.

As a rule, I tend to shy away from criticism. It’s not that I think films are above criticism but rather I find it hard to separate fair and honest criticism from my own personal taste. Still, I think there are objective points to bring across that goes beyond “this film lacked a heroine with blond hair and green nails, getting punched two inches below her heart ” kind of criticism.   First point of issue: I find it extremely frustrating whenever there’s a fight where one girl takes a beating and the angle of the shot is pointing behind… Read more »

Thanks for the excellent post darkwraith, and I must say I felt much the same when I watched love kills recently. The movie is excellent, and Ariya’s facial expressions and body reactions to each hit are great, but I was really left wanting a more convincing vocal delivery. I always find it frustrating when I can hear the grunts of the guy punching her louder than her reaction. So yeah, this is definitely an area for improvement, and as you say the Kandy girls are nowhere near the realm of over acting in this respect so I’d love to see… Read more »

I just wanted to chime in on the comment about angles in ‘Love Kills’. Hopefully Kandyman forgives the intrusion in his thread. I can’t speak about editing choices in ‘Femmes Two Zero’ because I had nothing to do with the edit. But ‘Love Kills’ was edited on my side. Let me first say I’m acutely aware that people prefer the heroine facing side of the fight, and it will be shown as much as reasonably possible in any edit undertaken that I’m involved with. If we dwell on the villain side it is because the hits looked considerably better, or… Read more »

Great reason, thanks for the explanation, it makes a lot of sense! Always great to hear from the producers with such insights, thanks for taking the time to respond!

Nice details! Personally I enjoy multiple angles of the heroine being defeated. I don’t watch videos and think the entire thing needs to be shot or mostly shot with the heroine facing side. I liked a lot of the shots in Love Kills, which id notch a bit above this movie as far as preference.

I’ve taken a day to consolidate my thoughts before responding to Darkwrath’s post. I think the points raised are valid, but perhaps a bit overstated. The editing choices are less of a concern for me, although there is occasionally a shot I wish I could see from a different angle. The vocalization issue really strikes home though. That has always been a critical issue to me, and it’s a hard thing to get right. I think particularly with Kandygirls, getting really good peril vocalizations is a challenge. Most of these actresses are accustomed to dominating and being cocky in Kandyman… Read more »

This thread is a gentle reminder that no matter how objective you may think you are, you’re most likely looking at things through your own point of view and that point of view is universally shared. Anyway, I stand by what I said regarding the editing thing because it’s not something I’ve noticed just this month, or this year or even last year. It has popped up quite often. And it’s not that I’m asking for the camera to be solely focused on the heroine in peril (though wouldn’t that be great) but at times I’ve witnessed entire sequences shot… Read more »

Have you seen Kandyheist? I think it’s Diva’s best peril performance. Oddly poor lighting in the video, but still well worth it.

Never seen that and the previews show me a typical Kandy girl domination type of Kick Ass video. You certain there’s peril in that?

Am I certain? I mean, maybe I’ve had a stroke and think I’m making sense but in actuality I’m just typing gibberish. But if there is a KickassKandy video called Kandyheist and it does star Diva, then yeah, she actually takes a significant amount of punishment. Punches and kicks to the face and stomach, some baseball bat action, she’s even knocked down several times.

LOL. There’s no way that this film https://kickasskandy.com/kandyheist/ has the things you are describing in it. There’s nothing in the preview pictures and nothing in the description that gives even the slightest hint that the guys actually tried to take a swing at Diva let alone knock her out

Okay, I’m starting to lose my patience with being called a liar or an idiot. I just re-watched the vid (which was a pleasure, despite the crap lighting) and counted. Diva takes:
6 face punches
7 stomach punches
4 kicks
3 bat strikes to the stomach
2 knockdowns
3 chokes

She reacts lightly to a few blows, but many of them “hurt” her. Naturally she dominates most of the fights, but she definitely takes some serious shots. She doesn’t get knocked out, but I never said she did.

In defense of Darkwrath, the preview pictures don’t show any peril so it’s easy to understand why someone would have doubt before purchasing it.

For what it’s worth, here’s the review of this video from this very website, which includes a comment from Bert:

Exactly SHL. Not to mention I didn’t even call Bert a liar or an idiot so I’m not sure where that’s coming from. I even laughed in my previous comment because I was finding this entire thing kind of funny and to not take everything so seriously. None of my comments were meant to be insulting or to insinuate anything to anyone.

Really? Well let’s review. You mentioned you were a big fan of Diva. I suggested a Diva vid with some peril that you might like. You asked me if I was certain it had peril. I made a joke about that and then actually outlined some of the peril. After that, despite me telling you twice that the video included Diva taking some significant shots, you said “There’s no way that this film https://kickasskandy.com/kandyheist/ has the things you are describing in it.” Now surely you can understand that after I’ve said…twice…that the vid has peril, when you reply with “There’s… Read more »

Tell you what Bert. I’m sorry for insinuating that you were an idiot or stupid in my previous posts. That was not my intention. If I wanted to say that, I would come out and say it. Not hide behind insinuations. I posted that link to make sure that I had the right video in question and it wasn’t something else in Kickass Femmes or Crisis.

Frankly, I think it’s stupid you took all of this the wrong way.

What you did was passive aggressive. Your saying “There’s no way that this…” is basically saying he’s lying. Bert interpreted it as being called a liar and so did I from reading it. Maybe you should just apologize and leave out the “I think it’s stupid you took all of this the wrong way.” That’s a surefire to piss someone off.

I get that, but the thread went from friendly too threatening in a single comment, which was yours. I am sure it wasn’t intentional on either side for it to become heated, so I tried to offer some perspective on the side of why he wasn’t confident he was looking at the same thing

Does Montana get smacked around and beaten while tied to the chair much?

There is a little there. Its not really long tho. Id say each girl has about 3 min of peril for the entire vid.

I got this video last week and enjoyed it a great deal. Both ladies are dominated over most of its length and Montana spends a considerable time tied to a chair. I also got Femmes Station Zero, the prequel to this one that was released last year and I somehow missed and it was even better. Karly gets manhandled over the course of this pretty long video and she’s left thoroughly defeated. Really great stuff from one of my newest favorite performers.

Wow. Two Kandygirls put up good fights but get thoroughly defeated in one video! Nice job, Kandyman, and kudos to the fan who commissioned this vid!

They win? In a kickassfemmes video? Not even an alternate ending? Also, how much punishment Montana gets? Seems Karly takes more than her from the pics.

Karly gets dominated slightly longer. There is no alternate ending. The last 3 minutes or so is Female Dom too. It was alright. Would have preferred a bit more peril towards the end. It gets very Kandy girl. But the girls get dominated long enough that it was worth the purchase. I loved seeing Montana get handled in mixed fighting

Totally agreed… Would have loved to see more peril and a little bit of more natural stuff than it being showed a little superficial with those shots being delivered… Quite average to me… Expected much more from this one with the way the photosets were released quite at an early stage….

Darkwrath016 avatar

Agreed. An alternative ending where the girl’s get defeated would have gone a long way in making this better for me.

Yup my thoughts exactly. The alternate ending could have been him going to level 3 and kicking the Kandy girls asses. Would have been glorious. The shots kinda implied the two would get beat down together, which would have been amazing.
