I have watched two episodes of Iron Fist. Perhaps a bit slow and too many flashbacks but none the less, so far very awesome.

The pace picks up in episode 3. It ends with a great cliffhanger.

Of the four, Daredevil has been the most consistent. While Jessica Jones and Luke Cage started out very strong, they made some poor story choices in the back half of their first seasons (especially with Luke Cage!). Outside of the first 1-2 episodes Iron Fist was a rough watch for me.

My sentiments as well. Daredevil was overall great with some outstanding episodes in each season. The conclusion of season 2 felt somewhat rushed and clearly the Fisk episodes were the standouts together with Electra flashbacks.
Other than that I have not yet finished Iron Fist. Is it that bad? No, it is just boring.
Have somewhat tempered expectations for the Defenders, but I am very much looking forward to the Punisher series (not my favorite character, but well acted in the Netflix universe) and of course Daredevil season 3.

Haven’t seen the other 3 shows, but i thought Luke Cage was awesome. Actually considering getting a tattoo of “always forward, never backward’ on my arm. Recommend it to those who haven’t seen it 🙂

New York City sure does need a lot of saving in comics.

There are eight million stories in the naked city…

The Defenders’ territory seems comically (!) small on a map:

and is joked about:

but NYC feels like such a network hub for human activity on all levels that the concentration of superheroics seems appropriate.

Looks decent. Liked Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage. Haven’t gotten a chance to watch Iron Fist yet, but I’m sure it will be good too. Looks like Sigourney Weaver will be the main villain.

Love the use of Nirvana for the trailer.

Some things transcend cliche. Johnny Cash’s cover of NIN’s “Hurt” in the Logan trailer is one; this is another.

Totally agree about the NIN cover by Cash. It was excellent.
